I brought my laptop in for repair (power failure) and was initially told by the technician that it should be fixed within a week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning! read more

I brought my Intel CPU to this repair shop after they told me they could handle the RMA process with Intel on my behalf. I was informed that the process would take approximately 4 weeks and that they needed to perform diagnostic testing on the CPU before submitting the results to Intel as part of the RMA process. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Throughout those 4 weeks, I visited the store multiple times requesting updates, but I was repeatedly told they had no new information available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I later discovered that Intel conducts its own testing during the RMA process, meaning the "testing phase" apparently involved my CPU enjoying an extended vacation somewhere in the back room. At one point, I was told the CPU had supposedly been shipped out about a week and a half earlier, yet they could not provide a tracking number, RMA number, shipment confirmation, or any communication from Intel. For a business that specializes in technology, locating basic information seemed to require NASA-level resources. When I personally contacted Intel, they had absolutely no information regarding my CPU because the repair shop had never submitted the RMA in the first place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After continuously pushing for answers and documentation, the shop finally admitted through text message that they had never shipped my CPU to Intel at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My CPU had apparently been sitting there for over 4 weeks while I was repeatedly led to believe the process was already underway. At least my processor got more time to relax than I did. I ultimately had to retrieve my CPU myself and cancel the request entirely because I no longer trusted anything I was being told. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have dealt with more than my fair share of inconvenience, incompetence, and frustration over the years while active duty, but this experience easily ranks near the top.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would rather be force fed them dry crackers from the MREs than re-experience the complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism again. This was not a simple delay or misunderstanding. This was weeks of misinformation, wasted time, false updates, and unnecessary frustration while my property sat untouched. I genuinely spent more time chasing updates than they spent handling the actual RMA. To be fair, I do believe this shop is capable of doing decent work. I recently had my screen for my Apple Macbook air replaced in December 2025. Before replacement, the owner assured me that the quality of the screen would be the same as the original, which is important as a photo/video editor. Unfortunately, it was not the same quality. The screen was much more dim and contrast was off making photo/video editing difficult and watching videos in brighter light impossible. To his credit, the owner immediately attempted at replacing it with another screen and this screen was even worse with badly burned pixels. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He admitted that the OEM screens from Apple may be better, but said he would need to find a used one for a replacement. It's been 3 months already and no follow up. No used screen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm stuck with this dimly lit laptop screen. With that said, he offered a discount on replacing speakers for another older laptop. Not surprised, the speakers sound tinny like from cheap speakers you'd purchase from the dollar store. I have now realized this company uses cheap repair parts. Their workmanship and timeliness is not the issue. The problem is they use cheap parts and lie about its quality. Lesson learned. If you want your product to function like normal, do NOT go here. I promise you'll regret it and pay more later. If you just want your product to function at all, then this place may do the job. Just know it may not last. read more
