I'm a new member 1st workout was yesterday. Excellent experience, nice equipment and clean facility. Members were also very friendly. Jennifer gave a great tour and was delightful to talk with. My wife and I have been members for over 8 years now and after visitng many gyms both local and across the country, nothing compares to what Genesis offers and provides. I have personally trained at Genesis for a variety of fitness challenges including Marathons, Power Lifting, and Hyrox competitions. Whatever your goal is, Genesis can help you reach it. The owners obviously care very deeply about the gym and their members. They are frequently updating the gym, equipment, and always keep it spotless. They listen to their members and try and help everyone reach their goals. They even became a Hyrox affiliated gym due to the interest some had in competing and wanted to ensure everyone had a better chance to not only get in but also succeed in reaching their goals. The faciltiy itself is in a great location that enables outside running to be included in workouts. One loop around the block is almost exactly 1KM which makes it perfect for Hyrox training. They also have curved treadmills/runners inside if its raining or extremely hot, which brings up another huge perk; air conditioning! This is pretty rare for this style of gym and really is a huge benefit during the summer. Another perk, is the kids room at the front of the gym that includes toys and a tv. Genesis has all the equipment you could want including runners, bikes, skiergs, rowers, specialty bars, and everything else you would expect at this type of gym. The programming is top notch and is all done in house. The workouts aren't just random, varied workouts. They are thoughtfully constructed, planned out, and run in cycles. They can be as hard as you want and are great for all levels of fitness. The coaches always have alternative movements ready if something doesn't work for you. The coaches all know their stuff and have the credentials and certifications to back it up. They also offer custom programming for a variety of disciplines including Power Lifting, Bodybuilding, Hyrox, etc. Another unique and great feature of Genesis is they allow you to do other WODs or even your own training during all hours. You aren't forced to only off hours, open gyms, or only 1 hour sessions if you want to add more or take a bit longer on the workout that day. Overall, Genesis is a top notch gym with everything you need to get stronger, healthier, or more competitive in whatever your sport is.

When it comes to customer service, specifically "membership contracts" I was lead to believe…read morecertain things based on their staff's communication. Actual facts are in the fine print of the contract making it hard for their management to take any accountability for their actions. What was told and sold to me was different from actuality. I came in to cancel my membership once businesses started opening-up from quarantine. I filled out paperwork and the woman told me my cancelation would be effective right away. That my last time to come in would be 8/17. She also told me I wouldn't be charged. After a couple of days, I noticed a charge on my account for the monthly membership. I called in and spoke with Anna (who really had no empathy). I asked why this was and she said it takes 30-days to cancel - that it's on your contract that YOU signed. I can't give you a refund because you signed it. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. Some of your clients feel uncomfortable coming in and some have high-risk people at home. While I understand "contracts" and business -- it seems like business and money are more important than the community that is coming in to give you the opportunity that makes you money. Spenga should take another look at how they go about customer service and hire people that can empathize with our world's situation right now. Not everyone has the cash to freely spend at this moment in time and it feels like they are just stealing at this point. I will never come back here again. There are plenty of other gyms that offer similar services.

I have been working out each week 4-5 times and really enjoying the variety of workouts each time. I love that every day the workouts change. The Coaches are all amazing. Super helpful, patient, and motivating. I love the atmosphere and always feel amazing after the workout is completed. Signing up for the gym was seamless due to Marie's professionalism and knowledge. If you are new to working out at a gym, I couldn't recommend the TP Anytime Fitness to start. I also recommend signing up for personal training sessions with Alix. I take two classes a week and because of that, I was able to keep up with my grandkids at Disney World where we walked 10-12 miles a day. Again, I couldn't recommend this gym enough.

Do not waste your time here. They just rip you off. I joined a training program then came down with…read morea medical issue. I brought them a note from my doctor stating that I could not continue with the sessions and requested them to cancel it. Unknown to me they did not cancel it and continued to charge my card. I only found out when they contacted me that my card expired and I needed to provide them a new card. When I contacted them they said they did not have a cancellation form attached to my file so it wasn't cancelled. I'm sorry but I do not work there and had no knowledge of any form. I requested a refund and was told they would not comply. I guess legal action is next since the amount they took would qualify as a felony.
