After day one I was hooked. The movements, environment, attention to proper form, the challenge and best of all the coaches and members. You can workout anywhere but when you find somewhere that has a sense of true friendships and encouragement for everyone to succeed, you know you found your home. The Wheaton location is somewhat hidden among us surrounding stores, but it's easy enough to find. Upon arrival, door access is controlled through a mobile apps so since I wasn't registered yet, one of the staff members kindly let me in. We went through a brief questionnaire discussing why I was interested in joining and what fitness goals. I was hoping to achieve this year. I was then given a tour of the facility and led to my scheduled class, which was hot yoga. Each class takes place in its own sauna, designed to accommodate about 2 to 3 people at a time. The workout itself is guided through a screen inside the sauna,which I personally did not enjoy. Classes like yoga, Pilates, it can be challenging to follow independently, and I value having an instructor present to demonstrate proper form and correct posture when needed. That hands-on guidance makes a big difference for me.. HOTWORX offers two membership packages. The highest one right now it's $80 unlimited classes at home and in person, that includes a small weight machine area in the back, you have to purchase their supplies such as their towel, mat, and one other item. It also includes an app to use on your phone to count your calories, food intake and all that great stuff. Overall, the staff was welcoming, friendly, professional, but the concept just wasn't the right fit for me. Also, if you ever plan to take a free trial, make sure to wear almost nothing and take a ton of water with you and a towel because you will sweat and be hot!!!

All of the coaches put in 110% in to make sure all of their athletes are correctly doing a movement. What's great is that they don't do it for the money; they do because they're passionate about CrossFit and helping others become better athletes. I can honestly say I love coming here because I'm always learning something new. The coaches are able to notice when you're doing something wrong and address it immediately because safety is always first. The box itself is always clean and tidy, the equipment is ready for an athlete's use, and they stay organized by posting what the WOD is on Facebook. They are committed to every single athlete they have; no one is ever treated differently than another. I love this place so much and have learned so much in such a short amount of time!

At first I was worried that I would get too sweaty or it would be hard to breathe, but it was great! I feel good! This was also my first time working out in 11 weeks because I broke my leg and I was able to use the full body workout bike so I used my arms to help move my legs as well. Friendly staff! Nate and Annette were so accommodating! When I first arrived, I was excited to see my name on the chalkboard welcoming me.. Nate gave me a tour and explained how everything works as well as the different options available. We sat and talked for awhile after I worked out as well. Very friendly and available to help. I cannot wait for my next workout!
