I bought a premium Apollo Double French retractable screen system back in November 2025. I recently had new doors installed , so I hired their distributor, Apollo , to take down and reinstall the doors.The tech who came out, Will Smith, was professional and totally upfront with me. He told me that both of my screens had ripped at the bottom because the original installer Apollo sent me in November (Jacob) didn't cut the bottom track at a 45-degree angle like he was supposed to. This mistake caused the mesh to catch and tear on the sharp metal. Will did a great job fixing the screens and cutting the metal frames down to fit the new opening, and we shook hands on a $600 total payment. The problem is Apollo's corporate office. When I reached out to them to ask for a partial refund to cover the mesh repair caused by their first guy's bad install, they were completely unhelpful. Jacob the original installer, is no longer in business and Will Smith is now the installer. They sent my emails straight to spam, gave me the runaround, and finally claimed they couldn't help because they "aren't a franchise" and claimed they had no record of me, despite my original receipt explicitly saying "Apollo LLC."It is really disappointing that a luxury brand refuses to take responsibility when a technician they personally referred messes up an installation. Will Smith did a great job fixing the issue, but Apollo Corporate does not stand behind their product or their customers. If you want a high-end retractable screen with actual customer service, you may be better off looking at Phantom Screens or Mirage instead. Apollo will claim that they aren't responsible for their installers, but they directly referred me to Jacob who didn't install correctly, so who is at fault? A premium brand should back the workmanship of the professionals they assign to represent them. read more

We had an issue with the screen track coming loose. Apollo came out and had an immediate solution and reinforced the screen tracks attached to our patio cover. When we checked to make sure the screens worked properly, there was a noise as the screens went down. They said it shouldn't be making that noise. They told me they would fix it and they did. We have used HIS Apollo Screen and Shades over several years on multiple homes and have never been disappointed with the quality of material and professional, expert installation. We recently had them install large shades on our patio cover so that we can close them and enclose the area but then push a button and have an open air feeling. Tabetha helped guide us with the color selection because we have a view and didn't want the shades to obstruct when they were down and we wanted the color to blend well with the color of the structure. We have two sets of French doors that didn't have screens of any kind -- when they were open, anything could wander into (bugs, flies, rattlesnakes, mosquitos, etc.) -- or out of (cat, wife) -- the house. Decided that high-quality retractable screens were the way to go. Got bids from two companies: ClearView by HIS and one other. The prices were similar, but I had a better feeling about ClearView by HIS so went with them. Signed the agreement and ClearView by HIS ordered the screens. Once the new screens were ready to install, we scheduled an appointment for that, and the installer got the job done quickly and very well. He left us with a goody bag that included instructions and a can of lube to periodically spray on the track to keep things moving smoothly. We've had the screens for a year and they work just as well now as when they were originally installed. They look great and we're super happy with the performance. I was worried that our cat would try to get under the screen but that hasn't been a problem at all. She doesn't know the difference between the retractable screen and our regular patio slider screen -- she just stares at it. 5 stars! read more

I also bought their motorized drop down screen that we use on our patio almost every day and love it. It is quiet and also well designed, and they hid the electrical connection entirely (in wall). I have 3 sets of french doors in my house (they measure 8'x6') and we purchased the screens that meet in the middle with the pin to lock one side down. We love, love, love them! I should have got them years ago, but I was worried about the look - you don't even notice the screen there! They are fabulous - know we can open the front door and the back doors at the same time without the worry of flies or other bugs coming inside. This company is a clear example of how to build a long term successful business. I had my shades installed 3 years ago. It was their largest size retractable screen attempt to date at the time at 33 ft. without a support column dividing up the screen. As time went on, we had some sagging issues and or motorization issues. Every time I called them, they were prompt in coming out to fix the issues. This time, they stated that they had improved the design of the rollers and support system and was going to replace them for me. As they were doing this part, they realized that parts of the screen that were attaching to the system had ripped from it's attachments. No problem they said. They had a new screen produced and installed as well. Basically, they installed an entirely brand new system with a new motor as well! No charges what so ever.
