We had an issue with the screen track coming loose. Apollo came out and had an immediate solution and reinforced the screen tracks attached to our patio cover. When we checked to make sure the screens worked properly, there was a noise as the screens went down. They said it shouldn't be making that noise. They told me they would fix it and they did. Now the screens run very smoothly and are securely attached. We love these screens and love the Apollo. Very nice and professional people from the receptionist to the technicians. Great company, they installed our motorized window and door blinds several years ago and they still work perfectly. Installing the screens on our large sliding doors was life-changing. We have used HIS Apollo Screen and Shades over several years on multiple homes and have never been disappointed with the quality of material and professional, expert installation. We recently had them install large shades on our patio cover so that we can close them and enclose the area but then push a button and have an open air feeling. I got several estimates and researched several different types of screens before choosing Apollo. Their retractable screens for our 2 sets of french patio doors was of a higher quality in several regards, such as the sleek, minimalist housing design, better handles, covered screws so they won't rust, corrode or look unsightly, and especially the slower retraction speed, which they adjusted to my exact desire (not too fast or slow). I also bought their motorized drop down screen that we use on our patio almost every day and love it. It is quiet and also well designed, and they hid the electrical connection entirely (in wall). They were reliable, honest, and reasonably priced, and I'd recommend them to friends. They are also local and have made improvements in manufacturing their product over the years. read more

We have two sets of French doors that didn't have screens of any kind -- when they were open, anything could wander into (bugs, flies, rattlesnakes, mosquitos, etc.) -- or out of (cat, wife) -- the house. Decided that high-quality retractable screens were the way to go. Got bids from two companies: ClearView by HIS and one other. The prices were similar, but I had a better feeling about ClearView by HIS so went with them. Signed the agreement and ClearView by HIS ordered the screens. Once the new screens were ready to install, we scheduled an appointment for that, and the installer got the job done quickly and very well. He left us with a goody bag that included instructions and a can of lube to periodically spray on the track to keep things moving smoothly. We've had the screens for a year and they work just as well now as when they were originally installed. They look great and we're super happy with the performance. I was worried that our cat would try to get under the screen but that hasn't been a problem at all. She doesn't know the difference between the retractable screen and our regular patio slider screen -- she just stares at it. 5 stars! read more

You can't go wrong with the Apollo retractable screen doors. I have 3 sets of french doors in my house (they measure 8'x6') and we purchased the screens that meet in the middle with the pin to lock one side down. We love, love, love them! I should have got them years ago, but I was worried about the look - you don't even notice the screen there! They are fabulous - know we can open the front door and the back doors at the same time without the worry of flies or other bugs coming inside. This company is a clear example of how to build a long term successful business. I had my shades installed 3 years ago. It was their largest size retractable screen attempt to date at the time at 33 ft. without a support column dividing up the screen. As time went on, we had some sagging issues and or motorization issues. Every time I called them, they were prompt in coming out to fix the issues. This time, they stated that they had improved the design of the rollers and support system and was going to replace them for me. As they were doing this part, they realized that parts of the screen that were attaching to the system had ripped from it's attachments. No problem they said. They had a new screen produced and installed as well. Basically, they installed an entirely brand new system with a new motor as well! No charges what so ever. This is very rare to see in the home improvement space and these guys are a unicorn. So let me first start by saying that the retractable screen doors are probably the best out there. My installer also was very good and I'm happy with how they work as i have others that are 2o years old and still working just fine by Clear View. My only complaint is that We ordered the Bronze color and when installed we were told the matching top and bottom caps were back ordered and coming in anytime so they would install temporary Black ones. Well that was 9/15/2025 and still know matching caps as of 11/17/2025. My installer said they keep telling him they are on back order still2 months later, I reached out directly to there office in Escondido to vent my frustration and concern since these two retractable screens were a lot of money and they said they would look into it, yet still no return call this was two weeks ago. I would say that there warehouse in Escondido is not customer priority according to there videos that you watch online they are misleading informational. We are not happy as friends like the doors yet notice why the caps don't match top and bottom, its embarrassing to have to explain. i will be looking for a corporate email, or number to contact next seeinfg the amount of money we spent you would thisnk they would compensate us for this 2 month plus delay. read more

I called Apollo after contacting them on Yelp. I spoke to a female in the office (I believe her name as Leo) who said to text some pics of the window we wanted a motorized dropdown shade on. I felt then she wasn't really interested in helping me. Regardless, she gave a number to text the pictures to, which I did. I also responded on Yelp to someone named Sam from the company and explained I had texted photos per Leo's request. Never heard from anyone at Apollo again. Nothing. Unbelievable. Found another awning company on Yelp, & they stopped by the next day. We decided to go with them, added some additional work for two other windows and ended up spending $3000. read more
