Reasonably priced, and friendly service!! I was able to start a tab so I could add drinks and chips onto my entry. Sodas and potato chips were only $1 each, so it was a reasonable snack. You pay for a wristband and get unlimited pinball games for the entire day. With in and out privilages. They have sooo many pinball games, ranging from vintage to new. I love this place, every time we are in the area we make sure to go. With an armband they put on you for 13 dollars you can play all day and leave and come back. Their drinks are a dollar and the machines fitted with drink holders. Their drinks staff is always friendly. If a ball sticks they fix it immediately, other places have gone up to a buck a game... so please support this place it's amazing and a great way to spend time. I took my son and his best friend (both 20) there were families with 7 or 8 year olds, and in the evening there was a couple there for a date night. It's just a great environment and whenever I've gone not overly crowded. When the date night couple were leaving I overheard one of the staff tell the other how nice they were and always leave a tip and they seemed so appreciative. I really encourage you try the place out, maybe for fun, maybe for nostalgia but either way you'll have fun. read more

It's fun in here! Handful of old arcade games and it was great for our little kid to come and enjoy the lights and wild sounds. It's $13/person for all day and they have drinks and such you can buy if you need them. Some stools to hang out on if you need to sit. Very cool :) read more

We had an ok time but an employee followed my children the whole time (while I was beside them- they were not unsupervised). He consistently reprimanded my 9 and 14 years olds daughters with comments like, "Make sure the machine is off before you go to another," "Don't stand too close the glass," and "Don't bang on the glass." It would have been appropriate if it happened only once (and if the kids were rough housing), but he continued to circle the area and probably reprimanded them 5+ times. My husband and I agree that if they don't want kids on certain machines, why not have age limits? The kids were being gentle and soon became uncomfortable and didn't want to touch any machines so they wouldn't get scolded. I talked with some neighbors about our experience and they had the same one earlier in the year. They said when faced with bowling or going to the pinball museum, they chose bowling because they wanted to "have fun and not be scolded." Reading past reviews, this place is a gem, but it sounds like one overzealous employee is ruining the family experience. read more

We wanted something different to do. Well, this is it! All ages will enjoy! You can see the inside of one of the machines right at you walk in, even if you don't like that kind of thing, it's pretty impressive. They let us walk around to check it out first, how nice! It's a flat fee for a wristband that you can play literally ALL DAY!!!! AS MUCH AS YOU WANT! Just walk up to the machine and start playing. There's a small place to eat with a couple of tables, and for adults, they also serve beer. It's clean, they are super friendly and answered all of our questions too. Amazing place to spend the day with or without your kids!!! So much fun packed in one place! For those of you that aren't familiar with the Asheville Pinball Museum across from the Latta Arcade Building, this is their sister location. We trekked out on a rainy Saturday and scored parking right in front of the building. There are both Public Lots nearby and plenty of Street Parking. The signage for the entrance is fairly small so look for the Bright Yellow Awning! The inside is truly Grand with a capital G. The space opens right up and feels like an old hotel lobby/mezzanine. I did ask about the building and where you check in/pay was what used to be the concession stand for a movie theater. The main game room is actually where the theater was at one time. $30 for myself and my two boys got us wristbands for all day play. They do sell sodas and snacks like Asheville but no canned beer yet. Hopefully soon they said. There's a nice mix of old arcade games and pinball machines from different eras. I was happy to the The Incredible Hulk machine from the 70's - it did however remind me however how far along pinball has come, as it was like watching paint dry! There were tons of really good ones - Star Wars, Fish Tales, WWF Anniversary, and TMNT. My personal favorites were Tales from the Crypt and of course Twilight Zone (which I used to own/have in my mancave) - it's truly epic! Yes, I'm a pinball nerd - I can play for hours and stop a ball on the tip of a flipper. We saw plenty of families with the same idea for a rainy day - but still wasn't crowded. There's only two main rules - 1) if you start a game, finish the game 2) if your ball gets stuck, tell someone. Pretty straight forward. There are also plenty of stools for the kiddos to sit while they play. Love this place - and will only love it more when I can drink an ice cold Shiva - hehe - just turn up the volume on the Jukebox a little and it's all good!!!! read more

This was so much fun for our entire family. These were the pinball machines and video games my wife and I grew up with. Our kids of age 21 & 24 also thought it was one of the coolest things we did during this entire vacation. If you want to play the machines, it is a one time fee of $13 each person but we'll worth it. We played for a couple hours, went to have dinner then came back and played until they closed at 9pm. Highly recommend and would definitely go back if we are ever in the area again. read more

I am relatively new to the Western North Carolina area and was in the area on a rainy weekend to scout some recommended places to visit. This one caught my eye. I drove to Hendersonville specifically to visit this "museum". Parking was hard to find, but I finally found a spot. I was unable to get my card to be read by the parking machines. I was finally able to use the parking system by sending a text. I was close to leaving due to the horrible parking system. Glad I stayed so I could get to the museum. I purchase 2 hours of parking and headed in. Wow. I could have stayed here all day. I did a writeup on the pinball machines I played (https://djzadventures.wordpress.com). My favorite was Theater of Magic. I could have played that for hours. All the pins were in great condition. They even have video games. Mr. Do is my all time favorite so I gave that one a go. Damn those little guys. I would have stayed longer, but I didn't want to be extorted for parking. Kudos to the folks who runt his place. None of the pins had games left unfinished. All the ones I played were in good condition. The selection was great. Too bad, the Hendersonville city s doing this paid parking just to make a few bucks. They serve snacks, drinks and beer but I had limited time so I did not try anything. Beer selection looks great. Highly recommended and plan on many hours, especially if you can find free parking. read more

What a fun place! This museum is Hendersonville's newest and most unique attraction. There are over sixty pinball machines that range from the early days of pinball to the latest models. I loved the Elton John Captain Fantastic game! There are also classic arcade games like Pac-Man. You can play unlimited games for ten dollars a day, a pretty great deal. The employees of the museum have alot of knowledge about the history of pinball and were able to answer the questions I threw at them. This is a great stop for both history buffs, gamers, and teens looking for an afternoon diversion. I recommend! read more

What a great experience... fun, fun all the way around. From the moment you walked in and were greeted by friendly folks, explaining the ins and outs. Many of the machines stem back decades and it was interesting to play them and then play ones that are more in current times. Each machine has a placard associated with it and depicts its story. Small, dark room inside, but manageable, as well as, there are flippers side by side waiting to be played by the entrance where you pay. What a fun spot. Seems expensive but you can come back all day with your wrist band. It was fun to share the experience with my kiddos. The basic games are there, but so many specialty ones as well. I love the history posters above the machines. We just all played and rotated through the building playing everyone. Then we took turns on one game at a time to see who was best. For me, I used to spend countless hours at the ice rink scouring under the bleachers for quarters in hopes that I'd find enough money to get my next fix on the pinball machine. I can't tell you how many hours I spent on that thing. APM has a ton of different pinball machines ranging from units built in the 70's all the way up to 2017 I believe. What's more is that this place also has some non pinball video games which is a nice change of pace if you plan to stay for a while. For $10 you can get an all day pass. 1000% would recommend! Me and my dad usual go on a crazy hike or adventure for his birthday. We weren't quite feelin it this year in the super cold and windy SO this gem came up when looking for indoor things to do! We easily spent 3 if not 4 hours here and not at all bored. We just had to leavE for his birthday dinner! Anyway! I loved that there was a flat rate $12/playing adult and could just play non stop! No hassle with coins or anything and we definitely got our $12 worth great selection, great environment, great music and not crowded so we really did play to our hearts content. :) side note- it is a museum so you can walk around and see all the awesome retro machines or you can pay to play. refreshments are available. But $5 min on cards so cash would be useful. It is in a very old building on Main Street and have to go up some stairs and such; we brought a stroller and it was fine but as far as accessibility goes.... questionable unfortunately. As with the sister location in Asheville, the machines here are in fantastic condition, and there are a bunch of great pinball and arcade games to play as much as you like (which is a lot for us). The selection covers a great array of classic games from multiple decades, from Zaxxon to Gorgar, and we went well out of our way several times on our recent vacation because we loved it here so much. It's one price for all day play ($10 when we were there) with the friendliest employees around, and if you live anywhere near Hendersonville, you owe it to yourself to get here and have a killer time. read more

This is the sister location to the Asheville Pinball Museum in downtown Asheville. The same owners recently opened this new location. Their new location in Hendersonville has around 35 pinball machines and around 25 arcade machines. The admission fee covers all day unlimited play, and is a little lower cost than the downtown Asheville location. There are pinball machines and arcade games from multiple decades for kids and adults to enjoy. They also sell some snacks and drinks, and I think your admission allows re-entry, at least for now, in case you want to go grab lunch and come back later the same day. The staff is just as friendly at this location as the original, and the games are in good condition and a lot of fun. A good afternoon for pinball and arcade fans - family friendly fun environment. We had a blast, and will definitely go back when we're in Hendersonville. read more
