I love this cinema and the owners. It's quaint, reasonably priced, and supports the community. I'd go there any day of the week.

Fried chicken, barbecue, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and their signature creamy vegetable soup. The show itself was fun natured and the cast were fun and energetic as well as funny. Our server, chip, was hilarious himself, and that just added to the front of the experience. At the end, you're going to find yourself wandering through the gift shop, and I'm not going to encourage you or discourage you either way, but it's a great place to meander while you're partner or spouse are in the bathroom.

They did a $5 off on each ticket but any of the coupon books you see in town have a $3 off adult ticket coupon that is good for up to 6 people. The food was good but definitely not anything special. We were served fried chicken and pulled pork which those that ate it said was good. I had a vegetarian meal which you have to request when you get the tickets. They served me a large portion of steamed veggies and a large portion of veggies and rice. I also ate the corn on the cob and mashed potatoes and I had the creamy soup which was very good (but does have a chicken broth in it). The drinks are Coke products or iced tea. One thing to know, they stop serving food when the show starts so make sure you get there at least 30 minutes before so you can get seated and get served. The show was really entertaining! The kids (7, 9, and 12) were mesmerized the entire show. The have an entire pool under the floor which they dive into. You can buy beer and other adult beverages at the bar outside the theater. I also bought the group photo which was 2 pictures for $40. It was expensive but it was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it!

What a MADHOUSE! We bought the premium tickets online, never offered the VIP. We came here at 7pm,…read morebecause the email said regular tickets come 730, VIP comes at 7. Unsure we came at 7 they said pick tickets up 720, we returned 2 lines, the only sign saying prepaid tickets proceed through scanners. Went through scanner, nope VIPs only. The security directed us to the long line that wraps half around the building. It's frustrating and we weren't the only ones to experience this. Once in line, you proceed through the metal detector, past security, there is a booth, where the employees ask your name. Once you provide it, they hand you tickets, and you proceed to the photo area. The staff takes your photos to sell to you later during the show. Before getting to the show and seating, you stay in an area where there is a 3 person band playing, and signing. They do country, as well as some classic rock. The band themselves were very good, and got the crowd to participate in their show, calling out where they are from, and being overall interactive. While in the area, they sell refreshments, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, popcorn, glasses and so on. At approximately 820pm, the staff directs you upstairs to proceed through the red curtains into the seating. If you buy regular tickets your in rows 4+ going up. These seats provide an overall better view of the arena, it's not so high you can't see, maybe 10 rows to top? The premium seats are first 3 rows, if you have small children who want to be more interactive in the show and have a better view I would recommend these seats. Our waiter Tim, was a great guy, funny, and attentive to needs. The dinner, was served, starting with a roll, vegetable soup. Next came the Cornish game hen, then mashed potatoes, corn on cob and brisket. Overall the food was good, and lots of it! You get your own mini rotisserie chicken, and 1 scoop of each of the other. Before the show starts you pick your desert, our options were apple crisp, or chocolate coconut cake. We got the crips, which came to us hot, and delicious. You can order drinks from the scan code at the table, or the waiter will come by pre show and ask what you would like to drink. Options were coke products, tea (sweet and unsweetened) lemonade, and water. Moving into the show, so first and foremost, i haven't been to a lot of dinner shows. This one however was great, they had horsemanship, races, competitions and more. Once the show begins the show master, begins by amping up the crowd, 1 side is the north, 1 side the south, they have friendly competitions for both sides during the show. They have you cheer on your team, as they race around obstacles, pick up flags and return the competing against the other side. They also do pig races, where you cheer on the north or south, overall I believe there is 10-11 completions, all fun, and gets you amped up. During the competitions they will bring out people from the crowd (2-3 times) and have them participate in the games, and also a little wagon magic tricks. Besides the completion thy putting shows such as riding horses through and around obstacles, a butterfly show (horses with wings, lights and people acting as butterfly's). They also have some aerial displays and parts of the show. Overall a fun experience minus the mass confusion at the beginning, would recommend going especially if you have children. You won't leave hungry, the food I would say is worth it, the show is worth seeing. Things worth noting, it is a little expensive, tickets for 2 can be north of $100, the drinks, for 2 plastic mason jar alcohol drinks with tip $50+. Be prepared to spend a little. 2 show times, 6 pm, and 830pm.

Waited in the heat until doors opened at 4:45, then went inside and ushered upstairs, where we were corralled into a roped area. At 5:40 the M.C. And his sidekick came to sign autographs. No true special treatment. Only plus was guaranteed front row seats. Food was generally ok. Chicken was decent, the pork was really good. The corn was nasty and the soup bland. As a slow eater I wasn't able to finish my main before dessert came. Got to try both. One bite was enough. The show was decent. Tough to watch at times because of the servers. Even with a broken ankle I limped to our seats, handicapped seating was way up top. Maybe I expected more because of all the positive hype. Generally disappointing experience.

The Hazard County Hoedown is not worth the time or money. I…read moream just a quarter way through this show and Im bored with it. Its like kareoke....with the performers. The food is very bland and tastes as if it comes from a can... Im also sitting here with dirty dishes in front of me. Still. An hour into it, haven't seen any waitresses. Still dirty dishes. Would not recommend.

My review is for their breakfast meal. Advertised on their marquee was the buy one get one deal,…read moreso we thought we'd check it out...sounded like a good deal, right? First thing we noticed right away was there seemed to be no clear way to go and no one to direct us. When you walk in you are in a store with loads of jewelry and tacky souvenirs. The dinner theater was in back. We made our way to the back looking for someone to direct us. We were finally led to a spot in the back row, which was their handicap seating, which we needed for my father. After you get your seat, you go back into the buffet line...again very unclear. There was one guy who was standing near the kitchen door barking out food directions. When my sister questioned him on something, he responded back quite rudely, "haven't you been listening?" Menu consisted of your basic breakfast items, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, etc. There was a omelette station where you tell the cook what you want in it, and they cook it while you wait. Fresh toasted bread at this station also. The food from the Buffett was lukewarm and tasted old. Omelette were ok, toast was excellent. Says a lot when the best item on a breakfast buffet was the toast! Drinks were $2.00. In the fine print it said they expect you to tip your server $2.00 per person in your party. You pay at the counter in the store in the front. Entertainment was sadly lacking. There was Davy Crocket, Dorothy Gale (wizard of Oz) and a southern belle walking in the audience and chatting with you while you try to eat. Also had a representative from a Cruise Line trying to enter patrons in a drawing to win a free cruise. This did not count as entertainment in my book! They rate one star for the toast.

Love the idea of having a local family come in and do it all - serving the food, singing worship,…read moreand acting. Tons of caveats to this place, though. 1. Price is way too high for what you're getting (more later). Can justify the $55ish you pay. 2. Food is traditional southern food. Sits heavy and fatty. Baked potatoes, sad-looking fried chicken tenders, pot roast, pulled pork, broccoli, corn, mac 'n cheese, wild rice, turnovers for dessert. Honestly not great but it is all you can eat. 3. The worship show was nice! About 45min while you eat. The main guy is a pastor at a new church out of Pigeon Forge high school and that is pushed on you a lot during the service. Musicians were definitely talented. 4. Show was meh at best. Went to see the Prodigal Son, a great story. Acting was not the best and most of the visuals were holograms. 5. Seats were old and a bit lumpy and not comfortable. 6. Theater itself was dirty. Napkins and straw wrappers on the ground, etc. 7. Waitress comes around with drinks (water, sweet/unsweet tea, lemonade). Not much to do pre-show either. The Southern Gospel Music exhibit right in the main lobby is interesting for 5-10min and there are random souvenirs around. Cafe for coffee, sodas was closed (July 3rd). Great idea but a bit misfired.
