Here's the story - I live in Tallahassee and dropped a mate off at the Valdosta Airport. On the drive through Madson to the airport, the Royal Restoration & Remodeling store piqued my curiosity. I took a mental note of the location so that on my way back through I could stop in and explore the items. I was a bit nervous at first to walk into a store alone, but that was quickly diminished when the kind lady in a pastel blue-collared shirt welcomed me into her store. I browsed around a bunch because everything I saw was so unique and the price point was fair. A few items were missing price tags so I asked for the prices and received excellence in customer service. What an outstanding bunch of women running this place. Three of them to be exact! So kind, soft-spoken, happy to listen to my business ventures, and super sweet! A9 has a good selection and good prices, most, if not all the pieces are Ashley furniture. I looked up the piece I ended up purchasing on Ashley's website, but it was not there, so maybe they just buy out the furniture Ashley no longer sells. Anyway, my furniture was delivered the same day. The only problem I had was that i was told there would be a delivery fee and when i was at the store, I was not charged a delivery fee, so i figured maybe if I spend a certain amount, it was free. The guy came to my house with 3 of his young children (under 10 yrs old) to deliver my couch. I had to help him carry it inside, which doesn't make sense since it's a delivery fee. After it was inside, he asked for $70. Fortunately, I had enough cash to cover it, but thought this was a little shady/sneaky. He did not wait around until I unpacked the couch. Also, the pillows keep losing the thread, so they are pretty worthless. When I went outside after the delivery guy left, I noticed a cigarette butt on the ground as well, not at all professional. But if you can buy and pick up your own furniture, your in good shape.
