The homiest general store. Everyone was really nice and helpful. They also keep things nice and neat.

Solid little shop for grabbing groceries, souvenirs, or any of the basics you forgot if you're on vacation in the area. Store is a bit cramped but has just about everything you need, including seasonings and salad dressings, a packed freezer case, tons of beverages, and lots of snacks. You're up on a mountain in a tourist area so prices are a touch higher for the convenience but nothing outrageous. For bonus points, they have a large rack of used books on sale for half off the cover price. They also have pamphlets and flyers on display promoting other local businesses, which was a great show of community. Love the porch here as well, wish they offered fresh made coffee to enjoy out there. read more

All the reviewers are spot on - this is a cute market with the weekend essentials (including beer, wine, liquor). The gift shop is basically: postcards, shorts, Xmas stuff and ski-themed wall decor, They take all major credit cards. Lady at the register was very nice. read more

I needed a particular item and the store did not carry it. The friendly cashier said she had some at home and would bring it to the store the next day. Sure enough, I stopped by the next day and she delivered the goods. Man...talk about service! What more can you ask for. And people shouldn't complain about the prices. It snowed 6" yesterday, am I really going to drive down the mountain to save a few bucks on groceries. C'mon people! read more

Watch out for the mad cashier, who lectured me not to pet Thunder, the neighborhood deer who rests at the porch. If you believe Thunder is a wild, then why are you feeding her? One of the problems in Brian Head is the lack of stores, but Apple Annies is there when you need them. Good selection of grocery items including bread, milk, packaged deli meat and cereals. They are the only place in town that is licensed to sell hard liquor if you need your margarita fix. Staff is super friendly, and location is near both Navajo and Giant Steps lodges. And they have recycle bins for dropping off your bottles, cans, plastics, and cardboard on your way out of town. Just do it. read more

It is conveniently located by major hotels and I was able walk easily since the walkways were cleared of snow. The lady behind the counter was chatty and delightful. No reason not to give 5 stars. Surprisingly good prices for a resort area. Good times. There are not many places to shop up on the hill but this one has the basics. They sell the western family brand so you will get things a bit cheaper. We tried another general store in the area but I wasnt going to pay 6 bucks for a small bottle of mayo. This store has a generic brand for 4 bucks, still expensive but better than the competition. They also have a small selection of alcohol behind the counter, which I almost needed. Anyway nice little store on the mountain. They also have some clothing towards the back of the store. My only complaint is if you are coming down the mountain road you may miss this place, it is hard to see it and it is back off the road a bit. read more

We LOVE Apple Annie's and pay a visit every time we come to Brian Head. It's local, welcoming, and carries a bit of all the basics plus souvenirs. And, it's a post office. If you want a larger selection of groceries, you'll have to go down the mountain, but for a place this small in a town this small, Apple Annie's is just about perfect. read more

Small little store with a catchy name. Half the store is food and spirits and the other half is your typical souvenir shop. They have a lot of really nice t-shirts and sweat shirts, hats, gloves and some home furnishings. I am a sucker for homemade or crafty type things, and bought a knitted headband for $12. we bought two plastic sleds for our kids for $50, went to a popular sledding spot by the fire station, and both sleds cracked and broke into several piece and were not rideable after our second run. Apple Annie's refused to exchange or return for new sleds. Very poor product and poor customer service. I would not recommend or return to this store. read more

This is a cute shop that seems to have the essentials. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They even went in to the back store room to grab some have warmers for us. We will stop by this store again when in Brian Head. A+ read more

I loved taking a walk to this store. I think I just love country like general stores--in general. But, this one was cute. Staff was always so friendly and helpful. It's a mini grocery store and souvenir shop compacted into one. They have a little bit of everything that you may need to bring back to your room or may have forgotten to pack. While prices might seem a little higher than perhaps youre used to...remember, it's a store surrounded by resorts. That's with anywhere. However, prices weren't butt-clenching in my opinion, I just know it could have been cheaper had I remembered to pack or bring such things. But by gosh I'm all ready packing for 6...lol. Memory overload. Anyway, we were up in the mountains for Thanksgiving and learned a valuable lesson. I completely forgot to pack my cheapo barefoot big bottle of wine that was sitting in the garage. Thanksgiving day I NEEDED wine. Yes, I needed it. Ahahha. So lesson I learned...In Utah, they do not sell alcohol on Sundays and on Holidays. For a moment i thought i was somewhere in TX. Lol. If you will be purchasing alcohol from this store, must be cash or debit. No credit. But that wasn't the complete lesson...the lesson was...when packing...Bottle of wine gets priority then the luggages. Lol. Overall, beats having to go into town for grocery. Saves the trip of having to go up and down the mountain especially in the midst of a blizzard. Please leave the strollers in the trunk. Not stroller friendly. Enjoy! read more

She seemed bothered that I interrupted they're conversation to ask for help. When headed to Brian Head your best bet is to stock up on supplies in your home town, as the selection on the mountain is limited and prices are inflated. That said, if you forget something, Apple Annie's has the best selection of groceries the mountain, and it's the only place you can get a bottle of hard liquor (since it's a state liquor store). If you need a BH souvenir there have a nice selection of shirts, magnets, mugs and whatnot (but no stickers). The also have a post office if you want to send out a post card. Staff is friendly and helpful. Next time I take a boarding trip to Brian Head and realize I forgot something, Annie Annie's Country Store is where I will be going. read more

Staff was kind and helpful =) I'm disappointed in the pricing - a teeny, tiny bottle of GENERIC infant Tylenol was almost $11. I get that this is a resort town and things are more expensive, but gouging parents that have a suddenly sick kid just seems wrong. Name brand infant Advil in a much larger bottle was $10, but that seems reasonable compared to the outrageous generic Tylenol pricing. I am grateful they had what I needed so I didn't have to drive 45 min into town. I would have bought a child thermometer at any price if they had carried them. read more

This is a superb little store. They have a great selection of items given the small amount of space available. All the basic groceries, medicines, basic hardware, etc.. Along with a nice selection of souvenirs. I could not expect much more from a store of this type and will definitely come back. If you need a full sized market then stop into the Parowan Market on the way up. But the chances are that you will find what you need here. read more

Convenient general store within walking distance to our resort. Half of the store is groceries and personal items while the other half includes souvenirs, local to the area. They also sell liquor however not on Sundays. Cool little store, nice location and the staff is helpful and friendly enough. The only downside is that they are open odd hours and it all depends on the day of the week as to when you will find them open. They had what I was looking for and that is A-ok in my book. read more

It's a nice little miniature grocery store, U.S. Post Office (10am - 2pm), and liquor store. They sell Mike's Hard Lemonade by the bottle and several hard liquors, from behind the counter. It's a floor to ceiling set of shelves full of alcohol. I thought this was weird since Utah has strict liquor laws, and found out they are the local "state liquor store" for Brian Head. In addition to a surprisingly wide variety of foods (about 4 aisles), they also have a gift shop section with cold-weather items, and candy. read more

We stayed in Brian Head and didn't want to make an 11 mile trip down the road to purchase food items and supplies. Went here to see if there were items we needed. This store may not have a lot, but it was decent and we were able to get most (not all) of the things we needed. Annie's saved the day. With a lack of good stores and restaurants in Brian Head, the groceries we bought at Annie's got us through the weekend. All Brian Head merchandise is very reasonable in price.
