This was a welcome sight on a snowy Friday night as we were driving on to Salt Lake City recently. My wife had somehow injured a finger. She either crushed it or banged it against something earlier and it was definitely bruised and hurting. We were on our way to a convention which would include a lot of moving, setting up a trade booth, and she cannot go very long without drawing some art, so we needed something and figured a Walgreens would have what she needed. As a surprise to both of us gone are the days of needing a metal splint with cloth tape to wrap around it. Now there are flexible finger splints that enclose your finger to protect it and help it to heal. They can even be frozen and then worn. It was exactly what she needed. Definitely helped her get through the week. Besides getting the pair of splints, we looked around the store and enjoyed their toy section, pet supplies, and holiday aisle. Great store which had exactly what we needed. Gave us a chance to stretch our legs, make a purchase or two, and hit the road again. read more

For your FedEx shipping needs, I'd recommend the FedEx Onsite location in this Walgreens store. I was greatly impressed by how 'genuinely' kind, helpful, and considerate the staff are who work here. I was even able to get help on a Sunday. I found them professional, genuinely caring and considerate, but I can't say the same of the FedEx shipping alternatives or competitors in town. read more

Where do you go when you need something for a cold sore, backache, stocking stuffers and hair care products? Walgreens to the rescue! They have a little bit of everything, and likely just what you need for what ales you. Fun story-my dad and I have a Christmas Eve tradition of going to Walgreens to get random stocking stuffers for my mom and anyone else that will be waking up Christmas morning with us. (With seven kids, the attendee list rotates each year.) This year, my wife, son and I decided to take a vacation over Christmas and had to break tradition. But I made sure to stop by Walgreens to pick up a few things in honor of our tradition. OK, back to the review. This location has everything you'd expect and is laid out clearly. Wow this PHARMACY IS TERRIBLE. No one was there and they were only working on people in the drive through and the phone. They finally started helping ppl actually waiting. Then they said it would be a 40 min wait. I asked the cash price without insurance and she said she couldn't tell me until they got it ready. Then I asked to put on my insurance and they don't accept it. Even though I had already asked and waited for it to be filled. They are so unhelpful here. read more

I got to the pharmacy at 7:45pm and waited in line for 14 minutes. there were three workers there, one was stocking shelves, one was doing idk what. there was only one customer in front of me. by the time I got to the counter I was told that they close in one minute and hadn't filled my prescription that was sent 45 minutes ago. maybe that's not enough time to fill a prescription, but that should probably take priority over stocking shelves. when I asked if there were other pharmacies open that I could have it transferred to, they told me there was one an hour away if I desperately needed it tonight. they were not very helpful. i Was hoping to get the medication tonight to get on top of the sickness and I didn't feel like they bothered to make that possible read more

I was surprised by the sad story I had to listen to by the employee in the pharmacy. I'll sum up this employee's story: this location is overworked and underpaid. Of course they close at seven and my home location closes at eleven. They will not call other stores to locate your medication. They are too busy for that. They are so over worked after having a holiday after all. If you bring in a prescription, it is a ridiculously long wait time. Of course they don't open until an hour after the store opens. I suggest you either don't use this location or this pharmacy. I would say horrible service but that would imply that you received service. read more

Incompetence at its finest! The pharmacy has always been the worst! With the new staff members, somehow it got worse. I am currently headed to at George now because they don't know how to do their job. They are open later than everyone else I believe because they take so long to fill the prescriptions. Pharmacist made me cry. I was allergic to the only prescription other Pharmacies had, and they couldn't order the one I wasn't allergic to until a month later. They told me to call Walgreens to see if they had it. The other pharmacies were able to look up the brand I had based off of the pill I had (like it's shape, color and imprint.). Walgreens for some reason couldn't, and the pharmacist told me I had to call the other pharmacies and ask them about the brand. I did not mind this at all, I understand that different pharmacies have different systems. But, I was worried that i said something wrong because the pharmacist sounded really annoyed. I pointed out that he didn't have a good attitude and apologized and said "I hope that it didn't sound like I have an attitude, that was not my intention whatsoever, I'm just trying to understand your process over there." He replied with talking down to me. I thought we came to an agreement and I said I would call the other pharmacies, and I specifically told him I don't mind that, and he still kept talking down to me. I was tearing up and said that I take back what I said and that he has a really poor attitude (I hate to admit I dropped an f-bomb that I shouldn't have in my very last sentence to him. If he is reading this, then I am sorry you don't deserve a curse word thrown at you.). I do not know what was wrong with him. But no one deserves to be talked to like that. He talked to me like I was a child. I was not even asking him why he couldn't identify the pill with the imprint and such (which is actually something you can use Google for), I was just trying to understand his lingo and the exact information he needed. He started to treat me like I wasn't willing to do the work, I completely was. I feel like he might've been projecting a past negative experience onto me, and I think he could benefit from a vacation without having to deal with probably other annoying customers. In the meantime, no other people deserve his poor attitude. Especially when they are trying to figure out their usually life-saving medications. read more

Website says that passport photos take just a few minutes. Actual time to get our passport photos this morning, 45 minutes. Usually, the photos I have printed there are done very well, but I have to check to make sure I have enough of a border so it doesn't get cut off. read more

this is directly for the photo department, whatever kid you have running your photo prints is very rude and should be terminated immediately. He was disrespectful to a mother and a daughter standing infront of me, and then to me as well. Brown hair, glasses, and should definitely be fired. I've never had an issue at this wallgreens before today; nice and friendly staff besides this A1 doucher of a kid in the photo department. read more

The pharmacist refused to sell my insulin syringes probably because of my non American accent, since i was well dressed and groomed software engineer. When i asked the store manager Benito for an explanation first said i need a prescription. Then he mumbled he doesn't know. Then made up that it's the pharmacists discretion. I was waiting in line at the drive-through to pick up my prescription. I was in line before 1:20 PM and after they helped the other cars in line and I pulled up to the window, they put the sign up that said they were closed from 1:30 to 2 for lunch even though they just helped the car in front of me. So I pushed the button to call them twice and they were just like sorry we're closed. (even though they were still there and had just helped the car in front of me.) I made this trip on my lunch break to get the prescriptions that I need and they're not even willing to spare a minute of their time when they saw I was in line. They have terrible customer service if they aren't even willing to give me my life saving medication as a type 1 diabetic. read more

I was speaking to the pharmacist over the phone (while my daughter was in the waiting room) and trying to understand why my daughters prescription was $45...I have a manufactures coupon (completely free) and its good for a year. I have only filled it for 3 months so I still have 9 to go. He kept telling me it is because I haven't met my deductible but this shouldn't even go through my insurance...only the manufactures coupon. After being frustrated and telling him I will just transfer my prescription back to Las Vegas my daughter told me he hung up and called me a bitch. I called him back to inform him that my daughter heard him call me that and he apologize that she heard him!!! NOT THAT HE CALLED ME THAT BUT THAT SHE HEARD HIM! I've never been so humiliated ever in my life, the lady I that answered the phone was very rude, I was on hold for a while when she finally came back on and says "Ya, we are going to have to get back to you on this one, we have a few things going on with this one." It was a controlled substance so I would've been completely okay with them checking out my RX and making sure I wasn't a drug abuser or anything.... I get you can do your job but you DO NOT have to treat people so terribly. When I tried to talk to them about the service I received they were even rude then!!
