Got my new phone yesterday and thought I backed up my data correctly on my pc before heading to the store. The associate that was setting me up had told me up front that he usually doesn't do this part of job at the store. This was the first time that they did not transfer data and pictures from old phone to new phone before leaving the store and I wasn't thinking since I waited so long and just wanted to get out of there. When I got home I realized I lost everything.. Spent an hour on the phone with Apple this morning and yes, which I was grateful for but still nothing. I was so disgusted with the wait time at the store I almost was going to just say forget it and go to the store in Marlton. I should have just listened to my instinct and left. Yes, partly my fault for not backing up correctly but this was the first time I ever left an Apple store with an empty phone with no apps, contacts or pictures. read more

Brought in macbook due to a stuck trackpad, my hard click wasn't working well. I asked if they could clean it and see if that would fix it as i didn't want to void my warranty. They replaced it and it was ready in 2 days. They didn't call me within 24 hours as promised but i still can't argue that with the service recieved. Only down side is that the store is always packed like crazy. $150 job covered by warranty! read more

Great experience at this location last night. Had a problem with the headphone jack on my Ipod touch. Made an appointment online yesterday morning and showed up last night. Even though the store was crowded I was waited on immediately. My genius took my name and asked what my problem was. After explaining my dilemma he punched up the serial number. He then informed me that my warranty was expired. I asked by how long and he advised 22 days but would help me as it was close enough. Gave me a new Ipod, I signed the paperwork and was out of the store within five minutes. This was some of the best customer service I can remember in a long time. While I understand my purchase is a drop in their bucket, I refuse to spend my money somewhere that treats customers so poorly. On my two visits I hadn't made appointments but I was seen within 1 minute and 10 minutes respectively. Not bad. I had trouble with my old iPod classic - the hard drive had crashed - and they were helpful in replacing it and receiving a 10% discount through Apple's recycling program on my old iPod. Fast and efficient service. However, the new iPod was a straight lemon. Within a month it was crashing repeatedly and not restoring. I took it in around the 30 day mark. The tech was extremely friendly and helpful. He walked me through what he was doing. He said it did restore but he said it still seemed to be acting oddly so he was very willing to give me a complete replacement within the warranty. I had a new operating iPod within 30 minutes. The phone support is so smart that it's stupid. The first time I called was a couple of months ago. My son's phone was having trouble and we went into the store for maintenance and then was told we had to make an appointment for a later date. Fine. Turns out it was a simple error and he figured out the problem on his own. I tried to call to cancel the appointment but my call was routed to an automated system. I couldn't answer the questions about my son's ID or password so I couldn't cancel the appointment. Now my phone is the issue. It was realllllly slow because of too many pictures. My son downloawned the IOS update and now it was frozen. Again, I tried to call to the store just to make an appointment. I couldn't access the stupid number on my phone it is frozen. WHY CAN'T I JUST TALK TO AN EMPLOYEE AT THE STORE??????? Seriously these are simple issues that one employee manning the phones can handle. Technology is great, but a company is run by PEOPLE not machines. read more

It wasn't a good day when I started up my MacBook and saw the dreaded question mark. I did some research and learned that my hard drive had most likely crashed. I booked an appointment with a genius and took a ride over to the Apple store fearing that I would have to pay around $200 to get it fixed. The genius was very knowledgeable and informed me that my hard drive did indeed crash. As it turns out there was a defect with my particular model of the Macbook (I bought it in August 07); a crack at the bottom of the computer below the keyboard which mine had also contacted. The genius informed me that that problem was covered for free by Apple and that he could also insert the cost of the hard drive into that cost as well. The whole process took about 30 minutes and saved me $230! Thank you Apple Store! read more

I had an issue with one of first generation Time Capsules and initially the first Genius quickly dismissed my concerns and I was very upset. I escalated my issue to the manager who actually listened to my concern and eventually got my Time Capsule replaced for free, didn't have too, but noticed how upset I was and replaced it. This took a 2 hour visit, but worth it considering I got a big replacement. Another time, had a non working item that didn't power up at all, and instead of sending it off to get back a refurbished one, I was ordered a brand new one. Great service. Not as crowded to me as some other Apple Stores. read more

Okay. I have been here 3 times in past 2 months with issues with my iPhone 5's. The first time, it was a headphone jack issue - which was not covered under warranty. The gentleman helping me... I do not remember his name. He was a chubby middle aged male with dark hair/glasses who spoke very fast and seemed unhappy from the start of our conversation. He was ignorant in his explanation that the phone was not covered and did not even want to show it to the tech because he was sure that it could not be fixed - he only wanted to keep suggesting I pay $200+ for a new phone. Long story short, I left the store and did some soldering/superglue work and fixed the phone myself. My second visit came this past saturday, when I my "lock" button stopped functioning. I made an appointment in the morning, got there on time and was taken care of in about 20 minutes. The woman was VERY nice and extremely helpful. She swapped out my phone for a replacement because it was still under the year warranty. I do not recall her name but she was an African american female with a winter cap. A pleasant experience. Flash forward to today: the replacement phone that I received over weekend completely shuts off in the middle of the day w/ full power. I rush over to the store after work and make an appointment when I get there. The initial employee who set me up with the appointment was quite pleasant, I believe her name was Stephanie. Needless to say, it was all down hill from there. Of course, the "tech" I was given was the same rude gentleman I mentioned from my first trip a couple months ago. He was once again EXTREMELY rude and looked annoyed to have to explain anything to me, let alone even try and give me helpful answers to my questions. It gets worse. He tells me that they will swap out my phone, but it will need to be looked at first and this should take 15-20 minutes. I say "okay". After waiting about 25-30 minutes, I find him and ask him how much longer it will take. He gives me a run-around and says they are backed up and it will be about 20-25 more minutes. Starting to get uneasy, I tell him that I have a veiwing to attend and I am in somewhat of a rush. He then starts going over to other employees and visibly showing frustration and rudeness towards me. He then disappears into the back and I literally do not see him for the rest of my visit. FINALLY, another gentleman (I believe his name was Demetruis) sees me waiting and begins to help me. He has to go into the back and retrieve my phone that the other rude gentleman must have "forgotten" about. He swaps out my phone and sets up my replacement in about 15 minutes. I thanked him for his kindness and explained my displeasure for his rude coworker. I cannot believe the treatment that I was given from the rude employee on several occasions now. I watched other customers clearly getting turned off by his rude attitude/demeanor. Because of these couple experiences, I will drive the extra few minutes to Marlton just to avoid this employee. Location is good, good visibility and a lot of staff to help. Had a genius bar appointment but was seen about 20 minutes late. None the less the problem was resolved by an experienced and friendly tech. Also was able to have easy low pressure conversations with the other staff about potential new purchases while I waited. Worse experience ever. Will not go back to this store. Had multiple support tickets about my iphone and support noted on my ticket to replace the phone. When i arrived at the Apple Store, the manager told me that nothing was in the tech support notes and i had to wait for an opening at the genius bar. i explained i can replace the phone myself i don't need a 'genius' to help me doing this. that it will only take a few mins. The manager proceeded to tell me i had to wait for an appointment an hour from the time i arrived at the store. And the dumb manager kept saying the same thing over and over. I left the store, contacted apple support and they sent me the replacement phone overnight. I'm sure Tim Cook loves the jobs managers do at the apple store. ill try to keep this simple. I went in to the store to have my microphone on my phone checked out. someone took it in the back and removed a piece of dirt stuck in the hole without waiting in line for something that simple. the problem did not go away. 2 days later i called late night to see if there was a wait time for a tech to look at my phone. they said no and to bring it up. this is 30min before they close. soon as i walked in Kurt took care of me and did multiple diagnostics on the phone and concluded the microphone was malfunctioning. Since the phone was under warranty he said we can replace it. he instructed me how to backup my phone and got things all set up for when i come back in the morning to exchange my phone. unbelievable. my MacBook broke so I made an appointment between 6-7. I'm sick and just left the house to drop this off. I showed up at 610 and was told my scheduled MacBook tech was on break. so I'd have to wait till 645 for him to look at it. all I wanted was to drop it off and get it when it's fixed. I don't understand a company that won't let you drop off a computer and get it when it's fixed. I don't want to meet Kevin or whatever his name is I just want him to fix my computer. I wish it was possible to score them with zero stars. Two weeks ago I updated my apple watch to os2 and the new software screwed my watch up. The battery would actually drain while on the charger unless the watch was powered off. When it was fully charged the batter would die in about four hours. I made an appointment with the "genius" bar. When I came in for my appointment I was seen forty minutes late. I get it, appointments take longer than expected sometimes and that backs you up. I'm fine with that. Once I was seen by a technician she tested the watch and after about an hour and a half agreed that the problem I reported was indeed happening. However, they have to send it to the depot to get it tested some more before there can be a resolution. She explains that it could take up to five days maximum and someone would call me when my watch is ready to be picked up. Once again, this is fine. However, I purchased apple care+ for this item. I feel like they should have replaced it right then and there. Anyway, after six business days I still haven't heard anything. So I call in to find out what is going on. They tell me that the watch is back in store it just hasn't been unpacked yet but I should be able to pick it up later that day. So later on I go in and explain what happened and the rep goes into the back to get my watch. Ten minutes later he comes back and tells me that my watch is still at the depot. How can my watch be in two places at once?? A couple more days go by and I return to the store to see what is going on with my watch. He says it is still in the depot but is should be back the next day. So I call back the next day and they once again tell me that it is there but not unpacked. I go in later that day and the same thing happens again! It has now been two weeks. I called today and the rep I spoke to on the phone said that the watch is back in the store and someone will call me later that day to tell me when I can pick it up. So about an hour later the store manager calls me and tells me that the watch is still in the depot but she expedited it and will call me when she knows more about when I can pick it up. I still have no idea where my watch is or when/if I will get it back. Also, not a single employee has yet to apologize for the inconvenience or for me being told two different things multiple times. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had from apple. If I ever get my watch back I will never be returning to this store ever again. I went to this store in the Cherry Hill Mall to see what I could do about my daughter's iPod Touch. Her sister had dropped the iPod and shattered the screen last night. I got to the store at about 9:45am. A Genius approached me and asked if I had ever replaced the iPod before. He then went on to tell me that since this was a one time occurance, Apple would replace the IPod Touch free of charge. He said they understood that kids, the largest group of customers buying this product, sometimes have accidents. The whole process only took about 15 minutes. Both employees I dealt with were very understanding and personable. Great experience! read more

Generally pretty happy here. This place is always swamped because it's in the mall. Get a reservation before you come or you might have to wait. If no reservations are convenient for you, show up as early as you can to cut down the wait time. Staff is decently friendly and will help you with a solution. Nothing here is cheap...but you already knew that. Only complaint is that sometimes you can stand and stand waiting for help. Be a little assertive and ask for help and you'll be fine. read more

My family and I had already checked out of a nearby hotel in Cherry Hill when we realized that my daughter left her iPad mini in the room. We went back to the hotel, but the iPad was already gone. Calls to the hotel manager and housekeeping did not turn up anything either. Imagine our surprise when 3 weeks later we get a call from the Apple Store in the Mall telling us that our iPad had been turned in. The manager shipped us the iPad overnight at no cost to us. I went to trade an iphone 6 first I was told by a guy named Bruce that the value at $140. Then when I decided to trade it in, I was told by another employee that the value was $85. Not only that, he was rude throughout the whole process, his name was Yamel. I contacted the manager named Derrick and came again to the store and talked to Katrina the manager. They decided to go with the $85. That tells me that the store doesn't have standards and can change the price at an as-needed basis. While I am very computer and tech savvy, Apple aware I am (mostly) not. I've been frequenting this store since opening, and yes, even standing in outrageous lines for the iPhone 4 release. I don't think the store ever has a "quiet" time, but they handle madness and crowds impeccably. I always book my appointments here, and am always helped promptly, politely, and professionally. Even with my usually common sense questions, I've never been made to feel stupid or unaware. They even looked at my HP laptop to check out my iTunes problems, and worked on it for quite a long time, voluntarily! I'm always quite impressed with the customer and technical service I receive. read more

This is my closest Apple Store, but I think it would be worthwhile for anyone within a 50-mile radius to make the trek to this location. I've visited them for repairs/replacements of several devices and it's always a pleasant and painless experience, even when the store is on the crowded side. In-warranty repairs are never a hassle (they've sometimes even fixed other issues I didn't notice before bringing the device in), and they'll do what they can to help with out-of-warranty services at a reasonable cost. By far the best of any Apple Stores I've visited in the region. read more

Awesome place! I love Apple so I'm like a kid in a candy store anyway here but what sets them apart is the staff! I love going there because everybody, no matter how busy or stressful, is friendly there! They actually talk to you and spend time helping you, it's not just "down to business" or rushing to get you out to get to the next two billion people in there. walking into an apple store was a new experience for me; had never been in one on these stores but was doing a favor for a family member who needed a glass repair. I did not know what "an appointment " was; never explained to me that it was just an "on que". what started out as total confusion ended up as a pleasant and positive experience! many thanks to Genius JD !!! I had a scheduled Genius Bar appointment--I arrived 4 minutes early, checked in with an Apple Store employee that I had to go find....I was under the impression from past experience that an Apple Store employee usually greets the guest when you walk into the store and asks "How can we help?". So, I checked in early and was told to go sit in a certain area- which I did..... * 8 minutes after my scheduled appointment time I walked over to another store employee and told them that I have been here for my appointment and I have yet to see someone. I was asked "oh did you step out of the store?" Ugh, no I have been sitting here patiently waiting for my appointment,,, then to hear Oh okay whats your name and let me see what I can do!!! Within 5 minutes I was asked to sit at the Genius Bar and someone will help me.... I was helped ( very rushed) the Genius Bar employee was already helping a customer and I was "half helped"..... After not getting any support from service calls I finally decided to bring my 10 month old MacBook Pro in since it wasn't booting and giving me the gray screen of death. I originally scheduled an appointment for a Sunday at 330 in the afternoon and showed up an hour early since my wife had made other commitments. I asked the apple rep if there was any way they could see me, to which he replied, "no, appointments are running on time, you'll need to come back or reschedule." I explained the situation and that I lived an hour away but, still no budge on being seen sooner then an hour. I rescheduled for the following day at 645 pm and just so happened to show up thirty minutes early and thought, "why not see if they can fit me in earlier?" I approached the apple rep and told them I had a 645 to which they replied, "you'll have to come back." So I sat outside the store and waited until my appointment time. When I walked up and gave them my info, I was told to sit at a table and wait for a tech to open up. I sat down alone at the table, and observed four people walk up to the apple rep and say "I don't have an appointment but can I get someone to look at my device." And you guessed it, "sure sit right over here with this gentleman!" As I'm surrounded by these four people who obviously walked in, and the one gentleman who actually had an appointment, service techs began to come out and to put the icing on the cake, you know what's coming..... I was the last person sitting at the table to be helped. The service tech was helpful when I finally got to see her and after running diagnostics on my 10 month old computer, informed me I needed a new hard drive. I asked if that could be done right then and she responded, "no, you'll have to come back tomorrow!" So three days, six hours of driving, wasted fuel and dealing with NJ traffic I finally get to have my MacBook back.
