Came here after 10 years with another dental team on the south side. Super people here; not the cattle herd at south side. Takes a little longer here, maybe 1.25 hours for complete cleaning and review by the dentist. Very thorough and very genuine people. My previous dental team had the mask mandate sign up in the office, stating that everyone was REQUIRED to wear a mask. If you don't have one we'll sell you one for $2.00 Went to the back, and no masks. Idiots Very happy to be a client of Apple Dental now. read more

The lowest point of the visit hands down came from the x-ray tech. The lack of professionalism was so disheartening. So much so, I asked her if she was ok. Then I apologized if I said or did something to upset her. I can't imagine having had upset her from point A to point B. Maybe she was mad about something else, maybe it had nothing to do with me. Dentist Banwise has the worse attitude and he is very unprofessional. He was condescending and patronizing. I went in for a root canal and I had extreme pain that same night so I went in to see him the next day and he didn't even want to hear what was wrong with me you told me he didn't want to see me anymore he cussed at us and threw us out of the dentist office. I am always nervous when I visit any doctor's office. The ladies at the front are always pleasant, which allows me to get rid of any anxiety. The dental hygienist informs you of the process before starting the exam or cleaning. They check on you periodically to make sure you are ok. Very unhappy with the dentist office. i am going to that office since Dec. 2/2021. To this day nothing was done. I had 3 stomps removed by surgery in 2021. Apple Dental office should put in the empty place implants. Today they give me bill that is over 4000. Very sad dealing with that dental office. I was looking for a dentist in this area with a friend referred me to Apple. The service I had there was excellent. My appointment was at 1 o'clock And within five minutes I was in the chair and my teeth were being cleaned. The whole operation runs very quickly and smoothly. Timothy wannek recemented my front veneer. Within 2 days it became loose and 3 o(thirty) days later it fell off. I called Apple Dental Center on Saturday and explained the situation. They told me they had 2 dentists working but could not see me only the original dentist could see me and they would call back on Tuesday. I told them I was not happy and how would they feel if he had a missing tooth. Apple dental never called me back. On wed I requested for dr wannek to recement the veneer because I had to testify In Federal. District court in the southern district of tx and before a grand jury. The office manager told me dr wannek said he couldn't recement the veneer. I politely asked for some dental resin to temporarily place the veneer in place. Apple dental refused saying they can't do that. I contacted United Concordia to see if I could see another dentist because dr wannek had done a terrible job and they told me to call apple dental and have them withdrawal the claim. They refused. Long story short dr wannek was quick to take my money, failed to do the job correctly, and is a lousy dentist. I found numerous complaints on dr wannek which stated his service is terrible. There are complaints of new crowns and veneers falling out. Apple dental center hurt me financially I have 3 children and struggle to pay the bills. I was unable to use my dental insurance to fix veneer with dr Anna Ashley because of 6 month policy. Dr Ashley is a sincere dentist and saw me immediately. She even gave me a discount because of Apple dental center. Apple dental commented back saying I am not telling the truth and it was due to "scheduling issues". That's a lie. I would not be commenting this if it was false information. I don't want anyone to ever have to go through what I went through. On three occasions I asked for a dentist at Apple dental to see me. They never made any effort to schedule me. The office manager never even attempted to fix the situation. I never even got a "I am sorry we are here to help you" or "let me schedule you for a oral consultation" After talking to work colleagues I discovered Apple dental has a bad reputation of putting money first then patients second. Look at other bad reviews on Google, yahoo similar Now Imagine it was you or your child going through this Also Britt B who commented back gets paid to lie and write positive feedback. Look at all negative reviews on Facebook, yahoo, and Google and then notice Britt b's comments putting the blame back on the customer. I called Apple Dental and asked if my mother's insurance would cover all fees. They called me back after I gave them the policy number and told me everything would be covered. Then my mom went for the office visit and they charged her 53 dollars for an office visit . It overdrawn her account and they would not refund the money . Her co-pay should have only been 25 bucks. I get my teeth cleaned once a year here when I visit my parents for the holidays. But if it weren't for the low price ($60 for x-rays and cleaning,) I probably wouldn't come here at all. This last time was especially brutal. The technician was literally jamming the floss into my gums. My brother also had a similar experience; he came the week before and his jaw was hurting all night. At least I had no cavities! Let's start with the sign in sheet that exposed my name and everyone elses to anyone looking at it. While this doesn't technically violate HIPPA laws, any reasonable office will use HIPPA safe sign in sheets. I was given the usual (all-be-it short) history page to fill out; but I was called back for x-rays and then brought to the room before getting through my address. Kinda like getting your meal 3 bites into your salad. I never caught the name of the woman who took me to the back, she never introduced herself. She hurridly took two x-rays (using the same gloves to jam the plate in my mouth that she did to open cabinets and flip switches) and then sat impatiently (and texted on her phone) as I finished the paperwork. I assume the man who walked in and stuck the mirror in my mouth was the dentist... 20 seconds later he told me I needed a root canal and a crown. When I asked what the benefit of that vs. extracting the tooth he answered, "You'd have another tooth." I dont know if it was the grey walls and carpet or if the place was actually that dirty... but I've seen cleaner (looking) dental offices in Mexico. Every room opened into the same hall and none of them had a door, so as I walked down the hall I saw every patient there. I was shown prices for what the dentist wanted to do, but was also told that he "didnt do that" so I'd have to see another dentist. I was given two prescriptions, one for pain which I didnt need, and another for an antibiotic. When I asked the woman what the antibiotic was for she said, "You have an infection". Being in the medical field myself I asked her how she knew that... her reaction was a blank stare. Needless to say I just made an appointment elsewhere. read more

I have to agree with Garrett on every aspect. I felt very uncomfortable with the treatment my daughter and I recieved. When a minor child goes to the back of an office a parent should be allowed to follow I was told she was old enough to go alone. The rough treatment we both recieved from the techs and the dentist was uncalled for. Also when I asked before the appointment how much my copay would be I was told that they would not know until after the appointment. I am sorry but any office knows what the copays are prior to appointments. I would not return to this office for treatment and told all my friends not to go there. read more

All staff at Apple Dental Center are super sweet. My morning appointment on Saturday was very accommodating to my busy work schedule. My appointment was at 9:20, and I was called in about 2 minutes after I checked in. Very prompt! I went in for a teeth cleaning. The hygienist was as gentle as can be. She took the time to ask if I was okay and comfortable. She did a wonderful job. At the end, I checked out with no problems and conveniently scheduled my next cleaning in 6 months.
