Found a cute shirt and a nice dress for travel in the sale section at Banana Republic. Got some bathing suits at a store that was going out of business. After shopping, pay your respects at the Staten Island September 11th Memorial. Postcards honors and remembers the victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks and the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. Look through the wings of the giant sculpture. It frames Ground Zero. Never forget.

I'd expect to see this bookstore cafe in somewhere like in Ogunquit, Burlington, Bar Harbor, Austin, or Asheville? Super cute place with an interesting, eclectic selection of used books. They have a little coffee shop/cafe at the front - and there's an area where they have talks and live music on certain days. The people who work there are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I think there's a cute little outdoor area, but it was closed last time I visited. Hope to drop by here next time I'm in Staten Island!

Customer service is lacking, didn't feel welcome in the slightest, no assistance offered (not ideal for small boutique shops aside from the fact we are mid pandemic and it's a 4 to 1 staff, customer ratio, guess everyone was busy), so disappointing on that end. On the flip side this is an urban clothing/sneaker store, depending on if you're into this kind of fashion you can find something. I found shoes, requested my size and was given them in a different color than what I asked for, realized that 20 mins from the store, had to come back and exchange. Not the greatest shopping experience. If a person shows you a bagel, please don't bag up a donut:) Face palm to self for not checking my bag before leaving.
