I have shopped at this store quite a few times since 2000. Last trip was to purchase an entry level laptop for my wife. Store was very busy. First mistake. Dont go during the week end. The wait wasn't too bad. Unfortunately the fellow we dealt with had zero customer service attitude, although I thought he was a manager. He was busy with his iPad doing other stuff, he did not pay much attention to us. We should have walked out. Apple new policies are no longer customer friendly. You're on your own, very little personal one on one assistance. I felt we were at the market buying groceries. We end up buying a Neo. Then a gal brought and initiated the Neo; she was moderately helpful, and more talkative. Still a long way for great CS. The best part was the free tutorial 1hr lesson in-store. read more

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Apple Executive Michael David. Michael was the consummate professional-- patient, knowledgeable and kind. He troubled shot my phone and was in a word: Awesome. Michael is a great reflection on the Apple Brand-- and deserves to be recognized for his customer service and' bedside manner' by Senior Management. My iPhone alerted me that I needed to get my battery replaced, as it was now at 75% capacity. Thankfully, I had AppleCare+. I followed the prompts on my phone and made an appointment for 5:30 PM at this location. However, after I checked in, I was told that battery replacement usually takes about two hours or more and that I wouldn't get my phone back until the following day. This was highly disappointing as I had driven an hour and a half from 29 Palms to make this appointment too. I wish the system would have notified me of how long the replacement would take or prevented me from booking such a late appointment (this store closes at 7pm). Nevertheless, Benny made it happen. Debbie also took really good care of me, and was such a pleasure to talk to, too. This kind of customer service is what makes Apple so great, and why I continue to be devoted to their ecosystem of products. Flagged a woman down and was told you check in at the door, mind you there's no sign nor stand to check in with and she advised me that guy standing there is checking people in. I have since visiting this store three times to get my 20,000 apple mac pro repaired, deleted my account and told them to recycle my 2024 machine since they are unable to repair it and do not honor the warranty mail in to headquarters. PS. dont trust their warranty....they do what they want and tell me tons of options and then bar me from them all. I have also cut the cord to Apple and deleted my account, and am feeling more free than ever before. They can care less about my investments, or my losses, and I am done being scammed by their staff that dont know what they are doing. Ignore the bad reviews. They're from a bunch of angry, stupid people without Apple Care. I dropped my iPhone last month and brought it to this store today. I wasn't expecting much because my phone only had faint lines at the top, nothing too serious. The genius I spoke to, Jason, told me they could replace the screen that same day. Since I had Apple Care they replaced the screen in just one hour for free. I had an awesome experience here and will be back. read more

When I arrived a half hour early, I was directed to the table in the back with the screen. There wasn't a chair (stool) to sit. I wasn't going to stand for an hour, so I left. This place is a joke. My iPhone 13 had cellular issues because of a security update in the middle of the night. I woke up phone was hot and battery dead. Ever since then it would only have one or two bars, or go into no service. (i did take to verizon and they changed out the SIM card) Did diagnoses on it and the antenna was bad. Because of the update apple did in the middle of the night. He gave me this 1-800 number with a ladies name on it to call and escalate the issue. I called and it was some clown in Vietnam or who knows where who had no idea who the person was they referred me to..So all of it was BS and to get me out the door and pay $495 to fix the phone apple broke remotely F'off PS: just cause your gay libcuck and doesn't make you smarter then everyone else, you totally get that vibe in there. read more

I learned that my good friend whose spouse suddenly passed, tried to return ipad air, ipad mini and two otter skins once she regained some semblance of sanity after the death and was declined several times simply stating that the return time had expired. No sympathy no bereavement exception, just SORRY. Items were still unused, in original boxes in store bag. No exceptions! I have been asked to sell on her behalf but wanted to exhaust my options as death should not result in penalty to a purchase from such a large and international conglomerate. They always only purchase Apple products but these extenuating circumstances would seem to fall under an exception clause. Please advise and I should be able to amend my review, but not cool on apple el Paseo village store! Horrible experience two days in a row. My husband and I walked in yesterday to look around and make an appt. We were basically accosted at the front door area demanding if we had an appointment. We said we are going to make an appt. The gentleman set up an appt for today. We went to look around and he did not say, "No leave" but his body language and attitude communicated that. Came in today for our appt. We were about 15 minutes early. The gentleman at the entrance checked us in and told us to go to the back to wait to be called. We did. We sat at one of the large 8 person tables to wait. Mariana was at the table working with a customer. We sat on the other side. She rudely told us this was her table and we needed to move. Then rephrased that if she got customers we would need to leave. The table sat 8 people and she was helping 1. We had another man come over to help with the appt (syncing phone to Apple Watch). Got us started and from then on (an hr) we did it ourselves, no questions were able to be answered, no help setting up after it was synced. Except, for one female associate who came over 2 times to see if I t was syncing. We got it synced. Then left. Still have a lot of questions but no help and sitting at Rude Mariana's person table. Very bad experience. Very rude associates. Not a welcoming environment. Will not be back. read more

Liked the El Paseo location and plenty of parking behind the store. Had appointments to replace both mine and my wife's battery. Got text reminders and showed up on time. Unfortunately neither one of us remembered our apple passwords so resetting will automatically wait 60 minutes. I wish this know your password was included in the text reminders. Since we were already there, we waited out the phone security app and reset our passcodes. Staff is helpful and takes the time to answer any and all questions. There was a blond lady who was working (4/6/26 at 12:30 and still there at 3 pm who was just so nice and has a genuine attitude, it was because of her that we decided to get a phone upgrade. Also we shared pictures of our dog and no surprise, she's got three! Anyway process for battery replacement (me) and phone upgrade (wife) went well. The process for both takes time. Plan on an hour or two for most things. so we took advice from one of the girls working there and ate at Luna grill. Left with a new phone battery, a new iphone 17 and a pleasantly full belly. read more

I have visited this Apple Store many a time as I've had an iPhone since they first came out. It's a beautiful store, and every time I've visited the staff is very professional. It's extremely clean, and I most recently went in about seven or eight weeks ago and had a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my phone needed their help, not due to anyone's fault but mine (because I forgot my password). I was there for two hours while they figured out a different way to transfer everything for me. but, I was able to talk to some associates throughout that time and they were just very friendly and I actually know the previous manager there so highly recommended. What's the point coming in here. In getting to him, I must have walked through three other employees with nothing to do but did not bother to ask how they can help you. I was on vacation and received a new Apple watch from my amazing husband for my birthday and wanted to activate it right away and trade my old watch in. I was a little leery about going to this location due to the negative reviews, but luckily I had a very positive experience. All the staff members were super helpful, friendly and patient. I locked myself out since I couldn't remember my password and had to wait an hour for it to allow me to reset it. It was 5 minutes past closing time when I could finally get into my account and they were all still kind and equanimous. I really appreciated they allowed me to wait since it was just after the official closing time when I was able to complete my transaction. It actually only took the fantastic associate Kevin a couple minutes to assist me once I could gain access to my account. The store was very clean and I never felt rushed (just annoyed at myself for not knowing my password, but they did not make me feel stressed or bad about it). A few hours later the technicians were diagnosing the problem. The staff were friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. Here's the kicker, I could have had my phone fixed for a nominal fee, but the staff set aside a 13 pro max just in case I wanted to buy it. Well, I told them I would probably NEED it! Joseph, Gilbert, and Stephen did an excellent job getting me set up, even with some unforeseen issues with my carrier. They were patient and made sure I left the store happier than a pirate visiting a tavern filled with booze and courtesans! I could tell we were under the watchful eye of some managers. They stood with their backs to the wall, practically perched like Cooper's Hawks, waiting to assist if needed. Yes, those are some hawt and sexy Accipiter cooperii. They have a keen eye for staff. If the hawk can pick out its prey from a distance you would need a telescope to observe, these managers are picking and choosing their staff with equal discerning standards; that's all I have to say about that. I walked into the Apple Store on El Paseo on one of the most difficult days I've had in years. To make matters worse, my phone--something I rely on heavily--suddenly stopped working and wouldn't stay powered on. In a moment of panic, I rushed to the store without an appointment, unsure of what to expect. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by an incredibly kind concierge associate (I wish I remembered his name--he was wearing glasses). His warmth and attentiveness immediately put me at ease. Despite my lack of an appointment, he reassured me that I would leave with a smile, and he quickly arranged for me to meet with a Genius Bar technician. I was then helped by Mageline (apologies if I'm misspelling her name), who provided what I can confidently say is the best customer service I have experienced in the valley. She went above and beyond in every way--she listened carefully, communicated clearly, and answered all of my questions with patience and detail. Her kindness and sincerity made a meaningful impact on me during a moment when I truly needed support. Not only did she resolve the issue with my phone, but she also lifted my spirits and even made me laugh. Exceptional service like this has become rare, and it deserves to be recognized. If I could give this store a negative ranking, I would. Set up my Genius Bar appointment to replace my brand new Ultra Watch that failed after one week. After 30 minutes of waiting. I finally said something. 15 minutes later was told they would replace my watch. Because I purchased on a business account they told finally me I had to go to the source I purchased from - which was Apple. Not Best Buy. Not T-Mobile. Not Amazon. Apple. I had purchased 19 new Ultra watches from Apple two weeks ago for my staff. A complete waste of two hours of my Saturday. Now I have to call the 800 Apple number on Monday. Which I don't have time for The proper thing for these idiots to do would have been to replace my watch. Horrific customer experience. read more

Do not take a device here for repair. I took my iPhone in to have the screen replaced. The initial inspection and diagnostic test the phone was fine and was told to come back in an hour. Upon pickup, I was told my phone had a stripped screw and they were unable to complete the repair because I had damaged the screw. The phone had never been anywhere other than an Apple Store and the screw was not stripped when they took it to the back to repair it. They refused to acknowledge their employee damaged my phone and now it can't be repaired. I was told to call Apple support and start a claim. It has now been over a month and I have mailed my phone in twice to Apple repair only to be told they will not repair it because the Palm Desert store documented the screw was stripped by a "third party" person. Complete runaround and horrible customer service. Go to the Rancho Cucamonga store instead of Palm Desert. read more
