Food is great but the cash only policy is so cheap and lame. I never carry cash and having to use their bootleg ATM is kind of stupid.

At times the prices are great for certain things, while others are more expensive. Great for produce and seafood.

CASH only! Typically cheaper and fresher than local grocery stores.

Great produce. I get my cucumbers there to make my pickles. The deli has terrific prices. It's worth the trip.

If you're going to run a cash only business these days, you should really put up a sign.

Does Apple Farm take Credit Cards? Can you buy Dishes made there to Serve for Dinners?

They do take credit cards. I have not seen any signs offering takeout meals. They do have a nice variety of Italian cheeses and sausages as well as meats and fish. Their rolls are outstanding! Fresh every morning. I hope this helped.

The only thing that stinks is that they only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the store.

And the bonus? Most of the time they are still warm on the bottom. Just the apple. The other flavors must be made elsewhere because the crust is not the same. No, I'm not a fan of that other place, just not impressed. More impressed with a place way further up county but it doesn't matter. Westchester Greenhouse makes the best Apple Pie. Yes, I have busted into this pie in the car many times. Forks ready. The pie is still hot, folks. Seasonally, the apple cider donuts are the best anywhere. Yes, better than That place. And that other one up there with the mazes, and bouncy houses and things you don't want or need or have to pay extra to walk on their property. Donuts. That's what that line is about. It moves fast. They hand you the box in the line, they are hot. And with more apple cider taste than those other places too. Apple pie and apple cider donuts. Oh and Wave Hill breads if you can't make it to the farmers markets. Everything else is a plus. Plants. Produce. Wreaths. It's all good. I should buy raspberries from them and tell them to make be a custom raspberry pie with that crust they have on their Apple.

It wasn't until I read through the entire ingredients of the product I consumed where I saw "macadamia nut" listed in the mix of all the other ingredients in the products & it wasn't in bold. I do however try to support local businesses so occasionally I'll pick up a few things. The WP farmer's market operates downtown on Court St between Main and Martine every Wednesday from 8-4 and (new this year) every Saturday from 8-2. I usually walk through the market on Wednesdays before going into work to browse, and today I had the opportunity to visit them for a little longer. Like any farmer's market, they have a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. I'm bad though, and usually head to the baked goods vendors. Overall, they have a good selection of businesses. Some of them come from upstate while others are local to the city. Two standouts in the market are Gaucho Burger Company and Walter's Hot Dogs who will both soon be opening brick and mortar stores on Mamaroneck Ave. I still think the outdoor farmer's market in Pleasantville is the best one I've been to in Westchester, but the WP one holds its own. They have a good selection of vendors offering a wide variety of products.
