For Black Friday, my dad wanted to see if there were any new IPhone deals with Apple. There were with T-Mobile, but only for the newer plans and the phone would be locked until paid off. So, we decided to visit Apple to find deals on unlocked phone. We waited in line, but the line move fast and we got representative in 5 minutes. He said there are no deals, but showed the phones available. Our representative explained the differences of the phones, with the pro having a third camera and better battery life. My dad decided to get the IPhone 17 Pro (about 1100 dollars). We first wanted to trade in the old phone (the 12 mini worth about 150 dollars), but then we were told we would need to access the Apple account to wipe the data. Unfortunately, my dad forgot the Apple password, so we didn't trade the old phone. We just bought the phone, but were given a couple days if we decide to trade it in. The whole process was done in 15 minutes, so it was pretty quick. It was pretty crowded during Black Friday, but we appreciated that all the sales reps were moving fast, but still patient with the customers. There were displays of the all the products, that can be tried before buying. Most are on demo mode, which also advertises the phone when not being interacted. My dad likes the new phone, but still under a learning curve with the new features. It also took some time to transfer some of the apps, data, and passwords to the new phone. For people who love IPhone and other Apple products, it is a good store to try them before buying, and best when buying unlocked phones so you can choose and move to any carrier. I needed to make a call to make sure a repair part was in store never could get through spent 4 hours on the phone with customer service and they couldnt reach the store. Called days afterwards and still nobody answered even with Apple support reaching out. Im extremely disappointed in this. After having my screen replaced I canceled my apple care because having to pay for a replacement after having apple care without a single issue for 6 years is robbery. I noticed the screen is not the same, it's not as sensitive and I bit more sticky. I dropped my phone once and it's cracked again. Personally I haven't bought anything in the store for a good 10 years. That being said I am in it quite frequently helping others to shop. My kids are big fans, especially my oldest because of accessibility features on their products. And this occasion I was with someone who just wanted to stop in and check out the new phones as they are considering replacing theirs. We had time and they actually found one they liked and attempted to make a purchase and hook it to their phone service. They ran into a problem because they are not an authorized user on the account and we're not able to get the person who is to get them set up for it. We left a little unsatisfied for this but they do plan to be back to get the phone soon. Personally I took some time and explored the iPads as I'm considering replacing the one I have that is over 10 years old. The one I have works just fine but it can't be updated to the newest software and there are apps that are not available for the old software that I was looking to put on it. I won't be trading it in as it's only worth about $10 to them. I decided to wait but I was considering a 10-in iPad series 10 for about $600. Drove over an hour b cuz this store had what we wanted. We'd been hacked & we were told to get new devices. Never been in an Apple Store to know that it's NUTS esp by DISNEY. 3 ppl later I am getting a gal that can help us-only to be told that I need to place my order online in order to receive my discount. I had already placed an order online & my hackers had intercepted it & removed one number from the credit card so none of the 3 orders I did were ever going to make it to me. I had already expressed what happens when we get online & it happened again. The staff in store did not think it was anything out of the norm & I began to cry b cuz I know what happens when I can't get into my acct. Security came to standby again for a 3rd time at that point which only made me cry more b cuz I didn't need security - I needed staff in that store to understand that my info was going to be compromised again if I got online to order. We left w/out devices and quickly b cuz u cannot b upset about ur life being taken over in that place or u end up with lots of security - who are not the help u r most likely looking for. Full lockdown mode December 2020. Even with a Genius Bar reservation, the head security guard gave me a hard time BC I didn't have my "special code". Uh - the reason I made an Appt was BC my phone wasn't working in the first place so how and why would I know to carry a special code with me??? The security guard was horrendous and even refused to go check that I had an appointment. Of course I raised enough hell so that when a black gentleman behind me didn't have his code either, said security guard actually helped him by writing down the gentleman's name and verifying his appointment. That head security guy needs to go - a total unprofessional oaf. Not Apple friendly whatsoever. The other security guys were nice BC they actually walked inside to verify I had an appointment and was not making it up like the head guy was insinuating. As for Apple, they allegedly could not fix my iPhone X screen, offered me no monetary incentive to purchase a new phone but did offer to recycle it without giving me anything in return. If I got even $100, I would have bought the new iPhone 12 $1,099 phone. Folks, if this happens to you, head straight to the cell phone repair service at the front door near Macy's. Came here for a new iPhone for my girlfriend. We ended up standing in line for quite a bit. It was pretty crowded, even on a Thursday afternoon. Luckily they had an employee stand by the line and get us familiar with the product we wanted before we were taken to the salesman who would complete our purchase. Helps things move along when you get all your questions answered while you're waiting. I liked that. Once we got to a salesman, it was really quick. We knew what we wanted. Took all of 5 minutes to buy the phone, and about an additional 10 or so for another tech guy to guide us through the iCloud transfer process. Really friendly people here too. Apple store employees usually are, from my experience. Definitely come here for all your big Apple purchases, just bring a lawn chair because this place seems like it's always busy and there's no place in line to sit. read more

Well I did it again. I waded through an exceptionally busy buzzing store to buy the latest top of the range iPhone with the 512gb memory. You'd think I knew what I was talking about. The last thing I use this device for is to make phone calls. Now I don't need a 15 hundred bucks top of the range phone, but when it comes to this company and these phones, and as Oscar Wilde put it, I can resist everything but temptation. I can reject fancy watches & glitzy jewels. Say humbug to Calvin Klein or Tom Hilfiger - their stuff is overpriced and pretty crap to my mind but put me in an apple store and I'd buy everything if I could cart it home. Last time I tried to buy the new iPhone 10 as was they didn't have any to sell. This time I was assured they had lots of stock. So the entire purchase process took a few minutes with our seller Michael running a marker pen over the €100 bills to ensure we hadn't just printed them ourselves. We came across the wonderful Michael a few years ago in-store. He gives 1st class service and boy is he clued in. So once again we actively sought him out. He did say he remembered us, but I didn't believe him but he's courteous to a fault which is a great advantage in a business in the art of selling goods that don't come back to customers who do. I'd imagine he sees hundreds of people a day and we breeze in twice a year for 5 minutes or less if we can get away with it. I was in the mall yesterday and remembered that they opened all their locations back up. I tried the link to see if they had any available reservations for Sunday, but it was just showing some for Monday. I decided to walk over there to see if they could squeeze me in and sure enough girl said that she could get me in at 3:15 maybe sooner. They take your phone number and will send you a text message to let you know when to come back. Service was fast. Staff was nice and friendly and very helpful. It's very funny that this was my first time at an Apple Store, since I have and use all Apple products, So obviously I've walked by every apple store in the three malls in Orlando plenty of times, And I always want to go inside and check it out, but it's always so packed, so usually it's Best Buy for me..................................... I was on time for my appointment (5 min early) after 45 minutes past my appointment start time still no one had helped me. When I was finally helped, I gave them my defective HomePod mini, which they then proceeded to ask me all the same questions that was asked online by an Apple representative. They confirmed that the HomePod mini was fully dead, likely due to an internal power issue. They then told me that a replacement would need to be ordered even though they had the exact same device on hand in the store. Overall, I had to drive back out to the store that's over an hour and a half away to receive my replacement. I had offer to pay for shipping if they could just ship the new one to my house, but apparently that was not allowed. Overall I'm not impressed with how they service defective devices read more

Worst service. They lied to me saying they would match tmobiles promotion and give me a $200 credit. Never gave me a receipt and told me they would email it. When I got the email they never gave me the credit and financed the balance without subtracting the $200. I spent four days trying to get store on the phone. (It's an hour and a half each way to drive there). They never answer. Customer service even tried over ten times to get them to pick up. Finally spoke to a manager who said he asked the two sales people I spoke with who made the promise and both denied it. Told me return the phone and go to tmobile. Excellent customer service. Stopped in about 7:30 on a Monday night. My iPhone 12 Pro Max had died; it was a slow and painful death: no Face ID, then blurry lens, followed by screen all wobbly (official technical term). Yes, it got wet at a swimming pool - Flippin' Fins Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, if you need-to-know. (Great slo-mo video by the way). Found the red line in the SIM slot. Don't believe the apple hype that "...iPhone 12 Pro Max have a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes." DON'T GET YOUR IPHONE WET! (Unless you are prepared to follow all the instructions at: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207043 Anyway, didn't have an appointment but Hazel was able to get me in. Worked with Jony and Lucy but no luck on the phone. Because of 'corporate' policy I ended up having to buy an iPhone that night, with the promise by them that in the morning I could return it without any re-stocking fees. Switched SIMs and I was on my way able to communicate with the World again. Next day bright and early, met with Josh V., Kasey, Cliff, and the "Genius" Pierre. They took the phone back I purchased the night before and I received a full refund. Got a new phone replacement under AppleCare+. Pierre had me up and surfing in no time. I'm back on the road again. On Wednesday 9/25 I dropped off my phone to the Apple Store located in the FL Mall to get it repaired. When I returned & picked up my phone everything was erased & I was told that I wouldn't have cell service because my phone was wiped. I went in there knowing my phone would be wiped but losing service was news to me. It's the day before hurricane Helene & I was sent home with a phone that didn't work. As a mom & a resident it wasn't safe to go through the storm with no phone. The next day I woke up went to my cell phone carrier and got it activated. Since then I was unable to log on to my iCloud to upload what I backed up to my new phone. I was on the phone with apple customer service from 10:30 a.m-4:30 p.m with no resolution. No one seemed to care that there was a storm coming & I lost message conversations that I had with family & friends that were related to the storm. I spent time & gas going to apple (twice in a wk. dealing with this) & then again with Verizon. I'm so frustrated & appalled at how your company is handling this issue. This was the whole point of a backup & the sensitivity of it all is lacking. In addition to that my phone was replaced and not repaired like I was told. My serial number changed which means they didn't do what they told me they were doing to do. read more

My husband bought a new Iphone Pro 13 for me for Christmas 2022 for $1350.00. He did not buy the extended warranty that they tried to push on him. He looked it up and noticed that most phones last at least four years with little to no problems. The phone came with a year long warrany. The extended warranty was only good for two or three years, so it would expire before any major problems would surface. On February 12, 2023 I noticed a minor problem with the phone. I could not get internet service when I left the house and the phone restarted when I tried to download a new app. So I made an appointment with the local Genious Bar. The appointment got set for 10:15 AM on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. I have a job in Celebration, FL which is in a completely different direction than this store. It took a lot of manuvering to get the time to visit the store and get to work. I arrived at the store at 10:00 AM. Quiet a few customers were waiting outside for the place to open. The time on the door stated they opened at 10:00 AM. I saw a few employees gathered inside. The door was opened to the public at 10:10 AM. Most people walked up to one of two specialists with an ipad and told the person wheather they had an appointment or not. I went to the one with the shortest line, and told them I had an apointment for 10:15 AM. I was told to sit down at a table and wait. I was under the impression that I would have a tech meet with me at the scheduled time. I noticed that all the people buying Apple products were being served first, regardless of pre-arranged appointment status. At 10:30 AM I went to another sepecialist and told her I needed to get to work and that I had a minor problem with my phone and I would appeciate it if the next technician would help me. At 10:40 AM a specialist named Jessy asked about the problem with my phone. I had already gone over this problem when I made the appointment but I decided not to split hairs. The man looked at my phone and said he would run a diagnostic test. After the test was done it showed that nothing was wrong with the phone. Jessy left at that point. Then he came back and ran another test. This test had one element that was red and everything else was green. Jessy left again. He came back and told me that the phone was shot. He could fix it but they would have to open the back and it would cost $600. I got a bit annoyed and he told me that I could trade it in for $550.00. He also told me that other people had this problem after one or two years and they bought new phones. Then Jessy went on to tell me that I should have purchased the extended warranty. If I had done that then this problem would be covered. I only needed to buy a new phone with the extended warrany this time. I had made an expensive mistake and this was all my fault. So I told Jessy that this was not good customer serivce and all he wanted to do was a make a sale. He did not want to help me. I have an Apple Ipad, laptop and desktop. The least they could do is help me with my latest Apple purchase. During my break at work I called Apple helpline and asked what to do about my phone. They told me I needed to buy a new phone. So this is the company policy. On Monday Febuary 27, 2023 I called Express Phone Repair located on 1817 W Vine St, Kissimmee, FL 34741. I told them my problem and they said they could fix it for $20. When I brought it in and the technician figured out that the sim card was bad. He charged me nothing. I called consumer specialist and they replaced it for free. My phone now works perfectly. So Apple was going to charge me to fix a phone that was not broken. The problem was with Consumer Cellular. For any amount of money they would not have been able to fix it. If I ahd taken the bait and trade-in the phone I would be out another $800. Plus they would have charged someone $800.00 for it and sold them the extended warranty. This place is dishonest. Busy! Busy! Busy! I've been in a lot of Apple Stores and I have to say this is definitely the least favourite I've ever been in. Not because of rude employees or bad service, just simply because they are always so damned busy! The store is so crowded that moving around is a challenge. Want to look at a new product? Yea, you'll probably have to wait for several other people to finish looking at it first! It's a really large, sleek, nice store. Apple products everywhere. But again, way too crowded. I can't stress this enough: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Even with an appointment, I still prefer the Apple Store over at Millenia Mall in O-Town. Yes, it's crowded too, but not nearly as badly as this one. Unlike the Millennium Mall Apple store (management stinks)... this was great! Was able to get a late appointment and get in at the Genius Bar easily. They took my Mac mini and called back within a couple hours with a diagnosis. Reasonable price and quick service... but what was impressive was their setup and organization to handle demand. "We have a fourteen day return policy" On unopened, unused, unneeded, and unrequited accessories that I was sold under the confusing notion that I would need these with an upgrade from a 6S+ to an 11? "I'm sorry, that's our policy". TOO BAD, SO SAD. "You are welcome to upgrade though..." Great, my down payment will be these overpriced and unneeded charging devices I was sold with the last upgrade. "I'm sorry, we can't do that." There are dozens of unopened boxes with these exact same products on your shelves now, they are not dated. "I'm sorry that's s our policy" You do realize Florida has a 30 day right of rescind law on any purchase, right? "I'm sorry, that's our policy" Your "customer first policy," right? Apple computer owner since 2013. My computer is 7 years old. I've always had a Microsoft computer, but decided to trade it out for an Apple. Our computer was not cheap we spent close to $2,800.00. I hardly used the computer, unless we needed information or I needed to work on my photography. After five years our computer started having problems but we still managed to get on the web and it would still load, but after another two years it stopped working. It would take hours and hours to load, and we couldn't even get into the web. We took it to get it checked at the Apple Store in the Florida Mall. Service - The gentleman who helped us which were two (first the manager and then the specialist). I do not feel we received good customer support, I felt like we were being brushed off as fast as they could to go to the next person. The only information we received was that they stopped making the software and that Apple did not provide the software any longer. So basically we were stuck and needed to buy a new one. We did not receive any other suggestions. Nothing apple could do for us, he unplugged from the desk they work on and we stood there with a nonworking computer. I had an amazing experience here. I was not sure how my concern would be handled but they made it right. The challenge I had was I purchased a clear case made by Apple for my iPhone 12 Pro Max on November 6, before my phone arrived. Since launch day I have had challenges with the case being slippery. I have had this case for all of my other iPhones and never had this problem. This problem first became a major challenge when i was getting into my car and it slid out of my jacket pocket, hit the ground and cracked the screen protector. I replaced the screen protector, ok my fault I thought. Then on December 28, I was at Night of a Million Lights and went to take a photo and the phone just flew out of my hands. Case shattered on the top, no damage to phone or screen protector. I went online right away and purchased the iPhone Leather Case. I went to pick it up at the Florida Mall Apple Store and when I spoke to the team member when picking it up, I explained why I was getting a new case within two months. I asked if anything could be done, he talked to some people and they refunded me for the clear case. They also let me change the color of the leather case. I thought I wanted blue but decided on California Poppy. Thank You Apple for making a disappointing purchase better. I have not dropped my phone or had a challenge since. This store is doing social distancing well. They have put up barriers in the store to separate the team members from the public. They are doing reservations for pick up and shopping. They are keeping everyone waiting, outside the store. This is very well done. read more
