This is one of the newer stores so it has the new design that I was unfamiliar with. However, I figured out where to go very quick. I have apple care my phones back glass is cracked so I called Apple to see if they would be able to get through to the store....because when you call they never answer. An employee at Apple was able to get through and they said they would not be able to tell me over the phone of they had a replacement phone in stock or not. They said they can't disclose inventory stock over the phone. This policy makes no sense....So, I asked a simple question: "Is the only way for me to know if you have a replacement I phone 14 in stock is by coming to the store". The answer was yes....CRAZY. They would not tell me over the phone if they had a phone in stock or not. She helped me with my phone that had a battery issue but instead of fixing my problem she ended up deleting all of my data and photos off my phone before I was able to back them up. I talked to tech support, management, and every other person that I could to get it fixed but it was not salvageable. Now I am at a loss of 28K+ photos and videos with nothing but an apology from the manager Anita (who was very sympathetic). Please make sure to steer clear of this Apple store at all costs. Horrible customer service. An employee had told us we couldn't swap our brand new phone in person and to call Apple. We called apple support and they said we actually have to do it in person. We then asked the same employee for her to say just hang around. We waiting a while for nothing to happen. Then we asked 2 more employees before a nice employee actually gave us a place to go. The only difficulty I had was the wait time as I had to wait over 20 minutes after checking in for someone to help me. I explained the issues with my phone, stated I wanted it replaced and he got me all set up in no time. I also got a Belkin tempered glass with them and they help me install it with an equipment that installs it dead center on the phone. I want to give a shout out to an outstanding employee who works at the Apple store in the Galleria in Dallas: Octavio. That store is always busy, even on weekdays, but when I went there this afternoon, Octavio took the time to listen to me, and he solved my problem. I went to the Apple store in the Dallas Galleria because it's where I'd purchased my iPhone and screen protector. The screen protector had done what it's supposed to do: it protected my phone when the phone fell off the car mount, but in that fall, the screen protector itself had cracked. But it was still under warranty, so I thought having it replaced would be a quick and simple exchange. I was wrong. The first Apple employee with whom I spoke told me I needed to go online to complete a claim form. I started to do that on one of the computers in the store, but the online form required the model number of the screen protector, which is found on the paper envelope that screen protectors come in. However, because I'd had an Apple employee install the screen protector when I purchased my phone, I'd never had that paper envelope in my possession, and hadn't known I should have registered the screen protector online, and I had no way of providing the model number of the damaged screen protector. I did have the receipt showing I'd made the purchase, but I couldn't find the model number anywhere on the receipt, either. Feeling frustrated, I decided to try asking someone else for help, and I flagged down Octavio. I explained my dilemma. Octavio listened. He examined my phone, and in just 5 minutes, he'd totally solved my problem, including removing the damaged screen protector and installing the replacement. He also remembered to give me the paper envelope with the model number, and reminded me to register the replacement online. I went from feeling completely discouraged to being really happy with my experience at the Apple store, thanks to Octavio. He's a truly outstanding employee who goes above and beyond to help customers. read more

Update on the very poor experience with the Galleria Apple Store and Apple in general. On 21 Oct 21 I was lied to by Apple Care Senior Advisor Megan. Megan said that she would be sending a replacement set of AirPods to replace the defective set I had and that were still under Apple Care. I received an empty box from Apple to return the defective set but there were no replacements. I called Apple absolutely no support and was told I had to first return the defective set before Apple would send a replacement. This is not what Megan told me on 21 Oct 21. Really surprised that Apple is so tight on cash that they want to act this way over a $200 product. Well, this isn't going to help their cash-flow as I've started canceling my Apple services and started making plans to leave the Apple ecosystem. I've been a loyal customer since 2008. That is ending. Apple is overpriced trash and Apple Care is a poor joke. Do not do business with Apple or the Apple Store Galleria. Not worth the poor quality and service. read more

After being transferred between 4 different associates waiting about 30 minutes the decision was they would not exchange it because it was outside their 14 day window, mind you I didn't want money back. I spent my evening at this location. I am not joking either. I called Apple Care to report an problem I had with my device. Due to timing, I couldn't get an appoint that worked due to schedule. Apple Care was gracious to put notes, and advised to go to the store asap for a swap. I arrived at the Apple Store, waited and was told they are running 30 minutes behind. Appointment is at 5, I arrived at 4:25ish. Figured I'd play Candy Crush. It was 5:15 and saw 5 Apple Advisers in a corner joking around. There was still a room full of folks waiting to get help. An adviser kept walking around, saying " where is drew? " well buddy think after 10 minutes of looking he isn't here ! I finally asked what was going on ? as many people have been called on, and i am still waiting. He did apologize, and said " I dont know what happened, however i will find you someone ". The gentleman that helped ( which I leave out his name ), didn't want to help more trouble shoot the issue. Considering the extensive notes on file, trouble shooting had been done with a Tier 2 Apple Adviser over the phone. I explained to this gentleman again that we have already done this. He indicated nothing was on file. He said let me go talk to my manager be right back. I honestly didn't feel he actually told her the full picture, and was more eager to get me to leave. I was advised to contact apple customer care and schedule another appointment, with notes indicating a swap. Not once did he offer to make a call on my behalf to help. I sat outside the store called Apple Care, which they indicated notes are on the system. Its all tied to a serial number, and did not know why he didn't see it. He offered to call the store, no answer. After two more tries got a hold of someone. coincidentally it was the same gentleman that helped me. He coached him on how to find the info, and notes as well on what was done. I was told to go back to the store, walked in and was told to wait another hour. Although I explained what happened, was told it will still be an hour. I understand mistakes do happen, however take the time to help someone out. Put your self in the customers shoes, not kick them to the curb. Yes, we had a resolution but my evening was up due to the lack of customer service. We all make a choice to buy apple products, and little customer service is all we ask for. Be prepared to come here and have your notes. Make sure the Apple Adviser you deal with at the retail stores knows what they are doing. I left the store at 8:42 pm. read more

The place was packed but I was helped within 10 minutes. That gave me enough time to browse and check out phones. I wish I remembered the name of the guy who helped me. The 3 closet stores by Apple closed, so I came to visit this store for extra help that I received before at Willow Bend. I got 2 iPhone cases as a present just under a year ago. When my black one started acting up, took it to willow bend and they gave me a new one no questions asked. They just jotted doesn't he serial number and date of purchase. A month later. That same case would charge or support headphone. And below this, my white case started failing at taking calls. So I took both cases in to galleria Apple. My first impression were the glass doors were looking pretty fancy, but I saw waaaaaay too many people in there. There was no shimmy room, no breathing space, and no way to hear the person next to me. I didn't find a lone for check-in or questions and I spent about 5 minutes looking for that person. So then I became that awkward person in the corner until a few minutes passed that a worker came to help me. He asked what he can do, jotted my name down and would get a tech. But he WAS RUDE and absolutely in the wrong industry for helping. No smile, no eye contact, no hand shake, nothing to say that he was happy I came in to see the store. Then few more minutes passed and this great worker came hand up before I could look up, smile, and eager to help. I explain my cases problems, got the serial numbers using a magnifying glass accessibility tool, and was trying to find my records. I showed him my receipt date being June 14, but the system wasn't taking it. So this is where the problem started and ended. The present was bought online via Best Buy. That store had provided a different date than June 14, like my receipt says. So they had to be firm about company policy to go with the primary date of the manufacturer. I understand this, but I had proof and just got a new case that was defective and they couldn't help me. It was terrible to drive a long distance and know Apple couldn't support their loyal clients. In addition, they had a security guard, who made me wonder why he was there because I saw him tapping and typing in his phone. Didn't cruise around the store speak to other employees or customers. I think I could out right sell it for more then $500. It's freaking brand new!! It's been acting up and I should be pissed spending over $1,000 on it and it's being crappy. We went in with a broken phone and no appointment, thinking it's probably gonna take forever to wait for a specialist. Surprisingly less than 5 minutes later, we're already speaking to one. Didn't catch her name, but she made the whole experience so smooth and easy. Not only was she knowledgeable when it comes to products and technical details, she's also very patient with all the questions that we had during the visit. By the way, we've met specialists at other places that would use technical words that we don't quite understand. Great help. I dropped my phone and it got a serious crack plus was acting crazy. Actually it's always acted crazy, typing on its own, typing words and changing my typing, screen bouncing and lots of other nonsense. They repaired my screen the same day and explained to me that the inside is not Apple but a third party phone. The only thing Apple is the outside. My X got it for me last year off eBay and he wouldn't listen to me when I told him to NoT be cheap and get it from a reputable dealer (it was listed as new and sealed too) Soooo $400 for a $10 phone.
