Rarely do I take the time to leave a negative review, however if anyone reads this and it's helps in guiding them when choosing a particular medical group or primary then I've saved someone's time and energy. Apple Medical Group in Menifee, CA is a joke! I've gone through 3 primary doctors and each one was a complete surprise. I guess I'm just supposed to know when they change doctors. The receptionist, who is someone I'm not familiar with either, calls me about 3 or 4 weeks ago letting me know Dr. Schoonmaker wants to see me.... ?....ok I thought I saw Dr. Kingsley?? Not anymore. Ok, appointment scheduled for Monday April 10th. Fast forward to Friday April 7th... I get a call letting me know that I need to get a hold of my insurance and change my doctor over to Schoonmaker, as it shows Kingsley. At this point I'm EXTREMELY irritated, I've had this appointment booked for how long? and you're calling me on a Friday letting me know I need to take care of this when my appointment is on Monday. I get a hold of my insurance on Monday morning and they cannot change it to Dr. Schoonmaker because he is still pulling up under the prior address he was at. My insurance agent called the receptionist at Apple Medical (Menifee) and explained that and they still wouldn't allow my insurance to use him because of that. I couldn't believe it! Thank you Apple Medical team! I have been seen by Dr. Kingsley, and he is great. Very patient and knowledgeable. Always takes the time to explain and make sure I feel comfortable. This last week I was calling in with concerns of Covid-19 and needing help and guidance on what to do. The wonderful team and front desk and nurses all gave me great advice. One gentleman was compassionate and recommended that I retest for Covid because it might have been too early to get accurate results. He was right! Another lovely young woman asked multiple questions to her Dr. and team and then followed up to let me know her findings. It truly was perfect timing for all of them to be called to this field. Rudest, least compassionate, lacking empathy and sympathy medical office staff! They simply don't care about their patients at all. Husband had a serious, but non-life threatening emergency. Called paramedics to our home at 5:30am because he was bleeding profusely and we were unable to stop it. Paramedics stopped bleeding and wrapped injury. PARAMEDICS INSTRUCTED us to get him into his primary MD ASAP that same day. Cause of bleeding needed to be diagnosed & treated by MD. Called MD office & left message. No one called back. Called again - reaching one of the rudest, most uncaring human beings. She did not give her name, but it was not Danielle this time. She wouldn't listen nor allow me to complete my sentence. Talked over me & then hung up on me mid-conversation!!! This female staff person needs to be terminated immediately. She has no place in this type of business. I previously worked in medical for some years and would have NEVER, EVER treated a patient like this! No matter what the patient's demeanor was or what they were saying - I would have, at the least, listened and heard them out. This is called "caring", and good customer service. Message to all you MDs out there: Take more care in who you hire! Your front & back office staff is representative of YOU! MDs...please hire persons who can take the stress & pace of a medical office without losing the ability to care! Screen well and provide good training. This place has become disappointment of late. I used to have Dr. James Seto as my permanent primary physician, he was so good with me and he was very understanding. He explained conditions well, but I know he wouldn't know it all. But his manners were very professional and friendly. He's a good listener. I was sad to learn he had moved. So I had to see Dr. James Kingsley. Let me tell you about him, it was recently changed and I don't like him at all, he was rude, bitchy, not professional and called me OCD paranoia freak. I am a Deaf and gay man, I kinda expected that was meant to target me. Will not do my medical transactions with them EVER AGAIN. I was told by a staff that the 5 star ratings we done by the employees and friends- figures- not a fan at all- I was there to try to get questions answered since they do not return calls when the guy in front of me started yelling at the same thing I was in there to complain about.. Seems the new, inexperienced Nicole O'Brien and staff workers ( 5 now in the office , used to be 2 or three) do not want to assist their clients at all period. I'd read some reviews on other sites about how terrible this place was, but I was pleasantly surprised. I called in hopes of getting an appointment so I can get an OB referral (21 weeks pregnant). They informed me that the next appointment was in late October, but after I explained the urgent nature of my request, they sympathized/empathized and got me in for a quick appointment the next day. I waited a little longer than I would've liked, but beggars can't be choosers. Everyone in the office was pretty nice, especially the nurse. She made me super comfortable, and acted like she cared about my situation. They got everything rolling immediately, and I'm looking forward to a follow-up appointment. read more

Horrible office! I am not pleased to be a patient at this office. They neglect there patients and do not care as medical professionals! I was seen in March and I have yet to hear back for my 2 important referrals. Which is ridiculous, we are almost in July! I call every week and leave several messages, talk to front office assistants and they say they'll leave a message for the referral coordinator... the referral coordinator Alma does not return ANY of the calls or messages. absolutely terrible customer service from the receptionist Danielle . i called to ask about prescription i've been waiting for over a week. when I explained her the situation she kept cutting me off and not letting me speak. then she was very rude and impatient . i get it that they are busy and have a lot of customers , but you should never be impatient with people that are calling your office. I even told her that there is no need to be rude and ask for her name 3 times until she finally gave it to me. I do not like going to the doctors, not many do - but Dr Bishop and her staff are amazing. Yes the appointments do take a little bit to be brought back but I think it's because they truly listen to their patients and they have a lot. Besides the wait isn't half as bad as some of the other specialty doctors I have in Hemet so I wont complain. I was a transfer patient from out of state so they had to request files from my different doctors in my last state and were on top of it everything I/my new doctors for referrals here needed. The gals at the front are always kind, I have bugged them all but Anna in particular so many time for all the various reasons under the sun and she's always very kind every time. Herandi, if that even is her name is very rude and slammed the phone down on me. Day before yesterday I called in to check on my referral and while I was mid sentence she said "HOLD PLEASE" and placed me on hold for 7 minutes. She has terrible customer service skills. Cannot even do her job. Impossible to talk to them on the phone due to long hold times. Almost all the staff is rude. Sharma Bishop MD saw me once for about thirty seconds. It was for a referral to a dermatologist. She didn't have my health history or ask me about it. I was rushed in and out. She was contacted by disability for my claim. She told them I was fine and capable of working. She made this prognosis after a 30 second office visit! I saw her ONCE. Now I can't get refills on any Meds I have been taking for years. Can't get an appointment for 6 weeks. This place should be bulldozed. Don't come here if you need quality care. Ever since they switched the main Dr. "Dr. Kingsley" I don't even want to call him a dr tbh. They are now absolutely amazing. I've seen Dr.Schoonmaker several Times and he always makes me feel as if he cares. He listens and actually explains everything. I recently have been having my visit with NP Bianca, let me say she is ABSOLUTELY amazing. She cares, she listens, is attentive. She doesn't make me feel that I'm just some younger women with anxiety. She is taking all the appropriate steps with the test I need to have done and making sure the care I receive is top priority. I'm so thankful that the DR and NP and this location actually have an interest in helping their pts. Also, every single MA and nurse in this office is amazing. They always pick up the phone, are able to schedule me asap and make sure to get diagnostics and labs back in a timely manner. Took 11 weeks for a specialist authorization. 5 weeks for an x-ray. A month for SDI paperwork (just to be denied, which they could've done within 5 days, but instead left us without income for a month). Waited in pain while symptoms got worse. They flat out don't care about you. Called so many times, they hardly answer or call back. They took 13 days just to call my surgeon. It's all on record. If you had a bad experience here. My husband has been treated for gout by Dr. Reddy's office for sometime and usually medication works. He called for a renewal on the prescription and the receptionist told him he needed to be seen so he scheduled the soonest appointment was 3 weeks out. The receptionist told him they will call in for a refill and this never happened. His entire top of his foot and ankle became inflamed and I called to get him in the office. This is the straw that broke the camels back... First Call - Disconnected - 2nd Call - Disconnected - 3rd Call - the receptionist is disoriented - she kept asking what the problem was. She asked her office manager what my husband should do and the answer was: GO TO URGENT CARE!!! This was on Tuesday at 11:00 am - This doctor does not deserve to be supported by the community of Menifee- the way I look at it is : Your office staff reflect YOU!!! And Dr. Reddy - you look terrible!!! Be nice to your employees and you may acquire good ones...be bad and you get what you have. read more

I was released from the Hospital 5 months ago and was told I needed to see a Cardiologist STAT. 5 months later I'm still waiting for this office to submit the authorization to my insurance. Every time I call this office they tell me "We are working on it" From past experience, It only takes a few minutes to complete the request and submit it. Staff was okay. That practitioner Claudia was a nightmare. Told her the mess she prescribed me upset my stomach and she said she didn't believe me and I should keep taking it. She basically called me a liar. She's also more concerned about being controlling and right, than she is about providing you the care that you need. Left messages asking for refills and she never bothered answering them. I would have to contact the office manager to get her to either approve or decline a refill( not pain medications either). 2 weeks and multiple calls later my refills were finally ready.I will never see her again! On the other hand dr. Sharma was a sweetheart and listened to me and my concerns . Refill request were answered within hours not weeks. She's the best. I am extremely pleased with the care I receive at Apple Medical Group. It's unusual to find a doctor's office that meets your needs from the front desk, right through to the doctor or PA. Typically, if the doctor (or PA) is good, the front office staff is awful and vice versa. I can honestly say that I am beyond satisfied with every aspect of their service. While all of the office staff has been wonderful to me, I'm exceedingly grateful for the help I've received from Naxhieli (pronounced Nachelli), Genesis, and Mary. They've gone above and beyond their job descriptions to get me the surgery I need. I, highly, recommend Apple Medical Group to anybody looking for a new doctor and have convinced some of my closest friends to switch. read more

They mentioned that the couldn't find my results when it's been 2 months since I went to the lab.(15 minutes later they find it.) Doctor then said that my pressure & temperature was fine when the nurse Jasmin never checked me on that when I walked into the room. They then took my pressure but not my temperature. Please avoid this place at all cost. Especially if you really care about getting taken care of in a timely manner. My 1st appointment was for a pregnancy test, I had already taken a positive at-home pregnancy test so I knew I needed to see an OB asap but need a referral. My appt was at 1pm and I came in at 12:30pm nice and early to fill out new patient paperwork, which only took 10 minutes. However, I didn't get seen until 2:30pm and was out the door by 2:45pm with paperwork for a blood test to see if I was pregnant--I immediately went to have my blood work done and was told my doctor would have the results with-in 2 business days. So after a week of my doctor not calling me with the results I called them, out of the 20 calls I only got through twice and both times was put on hold for 10 minutes! I'm roughly 1.5 months pregnant at this point so I really need to see an OB. I finally got through to the front desk through their appointment line and I had to ask her if I was pregnant or not. The girl checked my records and said I was and that the doctor or nurse were still reviewing my blood results and they would give me a call. I waited another week and again, no phone call. Now at this point I'm about 2 months pregnant and I'm starting to have these really bad pains in my pelvic area when I stand up so I'm super worried and know I need to be seen by a PROFESSIONAL. So here I go again trying to reach someone at the office, after multiple attempts to call and reach someone I gave up and went into their office the next day as soon as they opened at 8am. When I walked in the lady at the front desk asked me for my name so she can look me up, I gave her my name and let her know I didn't have an appointment and she immediately says "oh we don't do walk-ins" and I'm so irritated, in pain, pissed and pregnant that I let her know that I wouldn't have to come in if someone would've answered my calls or returned a phone call or my voicemails in the last 3 weeks. Her demeanor quickly changes and a lady sitting behind her at a desk is quick to address my concerns, I told her all I needed was the referral to an OB, I had it in less than 5 minutes. As I was walking out I looked at the date of the approval and I was approved for my OB by my insurance since 2 days after my blood test. I wish I would've gotten the names of the ladies but in all honesty I knew I'd never go back so didn't care to look at their name badges. However, I do know the name of Natalie/Natalia, the referrals/approval coordinator because I managed to reach her voicemail every single time I called. I have never returned to that dreadful place and will never return again. After this awful experience I started to appreciate everyone who answered my calls and especially my medical offices, it's a sigh of relief to know that there are medical facilities out there that do care about their patients and their well-being and that not all are like Apple medical center. hmmm What can I say about this place besides it's bad. My sister once went to the Urgent Care affiliated with this clinic and was seen by one of the clinic's doctors. The Dr over prescribed my sister and almost caused my sister to go into seizures. My sister later heard her prescription had been for about 10x the normal dose. Then my mom. My mom went to Apple Medical after suffering a bad fall. She took in the x-rays from the ER, and the doctor told her she wasn't hurt, she just had bad arthritis. My mom later found out she had torn a tendon in her wrist, and because it hadn't been diagnosed properly, she would probably have pain in that wrist for the rest of her life. If Apple had correctly diagnosed her, she may be fine today. Instead her wrist pains her everyday, almost bringing her to tears. I, myself, have made my way around the doctors here, attempting to find one I could trust. I still haven't found one. Last year I had some tests run, and no one contacted me afterwards to let me know I had tested positive for a serious condition. I didn't find out till about 6 mths later when I decided to ask for my test results for my own records. I haven't been back since. read more

Avoid this place. When I called about my kneee MRI, I was told that my 'wrist looks fine.' Five months have I waited to finally meet my doctor for disability reasons (after four years as a patient, I still haven't met my doctor.) Five months have I been shoved aside. The staff assures me things will be handled by tomorrow. You can understand my disbelief. If I can't get through to them tomorrow, I'll have my attorney try. You know, when my family signed up for this, they were a high-rated facility, according to IEHP. I would have to recommend to all seeking a medical office to look elsewhere. If you even call and try to set up an appointment you are on hold for 15 minutes or more. Try to call back and they put you on hold before you can even get a word in! Appointments are made two months out! When you get there you will wait at least an hour and a half or more to see the Doctor. If you are filing any health claims they charge 25.00 to fill them out! They don't seem to care when you express to the staff or Doctor about your experience. It's a horrible way to run a Doctors office! read more

I changed insurance at my job ad could no longer see my previous doctor, she was wonderful. I chose Apple because they also had a urgent care.
