Dr. Nguyen has been my physician for at least 15 years. He has always been attentive and caring. I have no issues getting in touch when I need to contact him. My appointments are usually short; will very little wait time. He listens to my concerns and always gives me options. Please! Go Someplace else! The office is clean and tidy. Staff is fairly professional, except for kids running around in the back office area. That's the only good I can say really. I went in with serious issues on a Wednesday, and needed to be seen at their Urgent Care. I was seem promptly by one of the PA's. He was courteous and listened to my issues. I was told to take a test at the Lab around the corner and I was supposed to get a call regarding the results on that friday. I had to call them that night! They said the results were pending the Doctors review. So i waited all weekend and called that Monday morning around 9. I was given the same excuse and told I would get a call either that afternoon or Tuesday Morning. As i write this I feel I am getting worse. It's a good thing i will be seen by my primary very soon! I still haven't received any communication and I was first seen by them last week Wednesday. Its been almost a week! I'd rather not go to the ER knowing i'm not suffering life threatening problems and take up much needed space and time in an ER office. On top of that each time I called the receptionist seemed to get more and more annoyed. If there is an issue on their end, the least they could do is say they are sorry and that they can't help me. The whole point of getting test run was to figure out whats wrong and whats the course of action... I won't be going back. read more

Prior to booking my appt, I noticed the bad reviews of this Dr and I was a little nervous. Most people only log on to complain, and rarely do those who had great expiriences log on, to write a review.. so I wanted to be that person that took a moment from my day to share about my experience. I had a hard time finding this office as there is another Dr with the same last name in the same center, so I was late! The staff was very sweet and accomidating. They let me know that they do allow some grace during appts. I filled out my forms and immediately got called to the room. They took my vitals and she let the Dr know I was ready. Within 2 min, he came in and introduced himself. He was very sweet. Asked me all about my history/ family history and even showed compassion. Ive been under a lot of stress due to covid and he sympathized with how I was feeling. He recommended some medication for my blood pressure and scheduled a full lab report/ Full women's checkup/mammogram ect.. I hadnt seen a dr since 2015. I have a fear of Drs, and he made me feel SO comfortable. Thank you to Stephen Hung Nguyen and staff for taking me today and for making things easy for me. This year Im going to put my health first. I appriciate you making me feel comfortable and for being kind. I'm so glad I chose this Dr regardless of the reviews. I never experienced any of the things the negative reviews mentioned. Not even close. I go back in a month for a checkup and to make sure my blood pressure is going down. He is very thorough.. Highly recommend this Dr! read more

I went to him because my good friend recommended him and I'm entirely happy there! Dr. Ngyuen is a wonderful listener and tends to all of my needs whenever I come for an appointment. He makes sure that all of my problems are tended to. I have never liked male doctors but for some reason he makes me feel very comfortable and I can talk to him about most of my health issues. The staff is great I've only been there 3 times and somehow the receptionist knows me by name always with a smile and very friendly. The office is always clean, and they have comfy sofa chairs to wait in. I'm never in the waiting room for a ridiculous amount of time. read more

I never write theses things, just too busy! I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen for over 20 years and now my Mom with Dementia is seen by Dr. Nguyen as well. He is a great doctor, quick to do whatever is needed to get you feeling better.Always able to take the time to listen to you and your concerns. You can personally call him and talk to him if you need to...who does that....give you there cell number.....no one or very few doctors. He has compassion and understanding and such grace when my Mom repeats, he actually talks to her. He makes sure she gets everything see needs taken care of. The Staff is excellent... I call and ask, what they maybe thinking, "Is she really calling for that".... but they are kind and understanding and I get a call back right away with my answer. Vanessa and Aida are the best. I see that it is not just with me but with all their patients. I can not say enough about Dr. Nguyen and his staff they are always there to help. I walked in closer to 11:30 am. The front desk staff had me fill out the required forms, present insurance, ID, and sign all consents. They also took my copay. They had me wait and wait and wait. After what felt like 40 minutes, I asked front desk how much longer (granted there were no patients waiting in lobby and as far as I knew no one was in the back). The receptionist said any minute now. So I procedded to continue to wait. After an hour, I asked again and decided to ask if a provider was in. They calmly stated the provider was out to lunch and typically on that day he also runs errands for the office. I could not beleive they had my son and I sitting there in pain, when they could have simply stated that at the beginnng and I could have taken him to have lunch and returned or found another facility that could take him in sooner. I was disappointed. I requested a refund and left. No transparency yet quick to collect copay. read more

I love Dr. Nguyen and his staff. They have always gotten us in quickly in times of emergency or sickness. I love the staff at the Temecula office although we will be changing to the Sun City office as we live in Hemet now. We are willing to drive in order to see this Doctor and his staff we feel he really cares about his patients. read more

I've been going to an Urgent Care in murrieta for years, but decided to try something closer t home and about three weeks ago I went to Dr. Nguyen's Urgent Care division and left there very disappointed. I took my daughter there Saturday morning and was the only person there and waited at least 20 min to get called into a room, the PA took his time and spent what felt like a good 40 minutes there and saw only one other person on my way out. I asked the male receptionist on the way out for a card determined to yelp but decided against it because I knew they were still transitioning into this new building. Today I came home and my daughter had a severe ear ache so decided to give them a second try. The visit was not as long however they dropped the ball when they insisted on calling in our prescription, but when we got to the pharmacy they had no record. 1hr 1/2 later we were able to get it filled. I hope that they work out the kinks quickly or I for see this to be one of many negative YELPs and patients lost. read more

We have been patients of the doctor for years. When my husband was in an accident and returned from his hospital care Dr Nguyen refused to see him because he wanted nothing to do with any lawyer (yes we had one and yes it was open and shut and never went to court) we had to temp get a different doctor. When I just called this morning as we are in between insurances and the new (Kaiser) wouldn't start in a month, he refused to give my daughter an appointment when I was willing to pay the 120.00 in CASH because of "liability reasons" WHAT? What liability if he is a coherant doctor and we've been seeing him for over 5 years! I wanted to scream. We wait forever in his waiting room and now he has a new system where he talks into a microphone in front of you like you aren't even there. I understand it shoots right to the computer but I am a living breathing person and would like the respect of being paid attention too. Not recommended. Over the past 12 months, the office staff has mishandled 6 referrals and/or authorizations. They claim not to have received necessary faxes from other doctors and CVS. Each time I contacted the party in question who assured me the necessary fax had been sent. I could understand if it was just one occurrence or even one vendor, but 6 different incidents involving 3 different vendors? I am dropping this doctor and finding another. I have seen Dr. Nguyen several times over the past several years and even had medicine prescribed. My wife also uses him when she needs to see a doctor, so he's not the problem. However, Its hard to recommend a Doctor when the front office personnel doesn't have their act together. I called today for an appointment, and although it has been 12-18 months since I've been there, they said they did not show me as a patient nor did they have records for me. I explained that I had been there at least 3 times, maybe more, and still they could not find me in their system. The receptionist was very stern and even treated me like I must have been mistaken, questioning me about maybe seeing him in Temecula instead of Menifee. She went as far to tell me that I was not a patient there (twice). I even described the building and where Dr. Nguyen's office was located within the building. She firmly said, I would be a "new patient" and would have to fill out all new paperwork. Her attitude suggested that I was lying or didn't know what I was talking about. Plain and simple, she was rude!!! I asked for an office Manager and conveniently, she was not available. So, if you're looking for a Doctor's office that is very impersonal, this is a good one. It wasn't so much that they misplaced or lost my records, it was the attitude the receptionist had when dealing with the issue. Had she just been nice about it and treated me like I was a previous patient based on me telling her that, I would not have went looking for a new Doctor.
