Worst Apple store of all time. Walked in and the store associate told me the wait is 3hours. Fine. A hour later texted me that the specialist is ready for me at the bar. I rushed back to the store within 10minutes but still lost my spot. Now I'm still waiting at the bar after one hour as u'm writing this review. I went to purchase an iPhone 6 and ended up returning it the next day. I bought the iPhone 6 at full retail price (around $800) and was not compensated for my defective iPhone 5. They told me I would only get an educators discount on an iPad or MacBook. Seriously I am outraged at this! I bought the phone then ended up being giving the wrong color, so I switched it for the right one. Then I went home with my new iPhone 6 and it didn't even work. So the following day I returned it for a full refund but these idiots charged the purchase to a credit card account I don't even own!!! How does that happen???? I didn't have to sign for the purchase either when I bought the iPhone 6. This seriously concerns me, an amount that high and the fact it showed up on my pending transitions in my mobile banking but it wasn't even charged to me on the receipt. TO begin the over apple care quality of service from phone to Store horribles . After I placed a call for Ann appointment and was disappointed by the wait I arrived at the Apple store . Talked to 2 employees just to check in after checking in neither Employee checked me in I sat and waited a half hour seeing ppl o camera after me get faster service . So I went in there ready to waste unnecessary money because I thought the problem with my iPhone was gonna be "my fault".. So the guy who helped me, his name was Rob, was as good as it gets. He was a real cool dude and tried to work some magic on my phone. Turns out it was a hardware issue and they replaced my phone with no charge!!! Then I got a glass to cover my new phone and Cheyenne ( I think that's how you spell it) helped me put it on. She was also super friendly. Spoke with main Apple re battery replacement for phone - they determined that I was eligible for the $29 replacement battery and made an appt.for me w/the Trumbull store. Went up there for said apt and was informed that the batteries had not come in yet - trip for nothing. Was told they'd be in the next day and they would call and I could simply come up, leave the phone for an hour and it would be done. Still have not heard from them 8 days later. Trying to call: "circuits are busy". So still operating with very slow I-phone 6. read more

Three weeks ago I upgraded my phone ; I went from an iPhone 6 to a 7(red) and I had a great experience, from the start to finish, I was dealt with one on one, I walked through the store, and Lindsay entered my name in the Que, saying someone Would be with me shortly, then a fellow named Andre helped me choose which phone I wanted, it was a smooth process,and Apple even offers a set up desk, where you can sit and have them help you transfer your old phone info to your new one, and some like me, who would be nervous to go home and do it on their own, really appreciated this feature. Jackson was working myself and two other customers , and helped all of us, in a friendly manner, in fact, he he was helping 3 people at the same time! I left the store with a full on working phone and a great experience, everyone at that store is friendly, and super helpful. I recommend the Apple Store every time. read more

This store is a mismanaged mess, and I'm not surprised to see other negative reviews. I've been there 3 times in the past month to fix an iPhoto problem, and it still isn't fixed. On my first visit, I waited for over 30 min. despite having an appointment. The tech did a perfunctory 'fix' which really didn't address the problem. On my next visit, several weeks later, the tech found I needed a software upgrade, which would take about 90 min. Since the store was closing in 40 min., he asked me to come back the next day, saying that if I showed up at the 10 am opening I would be seen in 10 min. or so. I did that, and wound up waiting almost 90 min. No one helped me during that time, despite multiple techs hanging around and talking to each other for long periods. I finally decided to ask the check-in agent about this. He told me that I would have to wait another 30 min. to see anyone. So I told him I was leaving. This is a world-class customer service company? Really? This was so bad my next computer will likely be an MS Surface. The takeaway: Don't go to an Apple store without a firm appointment, and don't bother going to this one at all. They don't care, and are giving the company a bad name. read more

I agree with the current 3 star rating. The workers are over taxed since the products are inferior and constantly break down. I did receive good service from them despite their exhaustion. Went to the store today about a battery replacement. Women told me they had an hour wait or the next available appointment was Monday. I then went online to do some research and found that I needed to pre order a battery to the store. Why then would I need an appointment on Monday? That would have been a waste of everyone's time. I don't get why she wouldn't just say I needed to pre order the battery online. So bizarre. Then come to find out it could be WEEKS until my replacement battery came in. My daughter brought her laptop in 14 days ago. It needed to be sent out for repair because it needed a new hard drive, which luckily was still under extended warranty. She was told it would take no longer than 7 days this which is the max wait time given the rush with many students going back to school. She being a student who had to return a couple of weeks earlier was proactive about taking care of this a couple of weeks in advance of the rush. Every time she calls, because they don't call her, to get a status update she is always told the same thing. It is in service and should be done in a couple of days. I called and got the same response. She was told this past Friday 8/24 the 11th day, to call Monday because the wait was not acceptable and something would be done to expedite the issue or they would have to do something to get her a working laptop. She called today and the women she talked to and related the info regarding calling today was extremely rude and said well I don't know who told you that, " but you didn't talk to me, I can see it's still in repair and we don't know when it will be back. I have tried to call to talk with a Manager, apparently there isn't one or may be it was the women on the phone, very scary. As a consultant who teaches world class Corporations how to put the customer first, I can tell you I will never purchase another Apple product and I would strongly recommend staying away from the Trumbull Store. I will also relate this story to every person I can and I teach thousands of people a year. The Customer Service was unacceptable and today horrible. read more

Bad experience. The 'genius' I worked with backed up my photos to Google (said he was having problems with iCloud and that they do it all the time) and replaced my phone without even troubleshooting the one I came in with (which was only months old). My iPhone 6 had a touchscreen which was intermittently not working. I was able to replicate the issue in front of a courteous Apple Store employee and she informed me my phone was still under warranty. After 45 minutes and a free repair, I had a working phone. I will be coming back to this store because of the awesome no nonsense service! read more

Jeff was super helpful and was able to replace my phone that had a damaged camera at 9 mos. old. I really didn't think they would have been able to repair it, let alone replace the whole phone, so I'm so glad my daughter convinced me to go and give it a shot. We walked in, made an appt for an hour later, had some dinner and came back, and Jeff had me up and working in about 20 mins. Thank you Jeff and the Apple store! read more
