Not that it was hard, but I felt super supported and she addressed all of my questions and concerns immediately. Nurse Irene was swift and withheld judgment. I was there for, what I deem to be, an odd reason. I think it would be unusual for a person to be all judgy vocally, right? But you feel/see it in their body language. Know what I mean? Yeah, she was not like that at all; she kept it professional. The doctor walked into the room and the only thing stuffy about the guy was his use of the word "doctor" when he introduced himself as Dr. Kiskila. Except that there was no bravado, or ego, or any attempt to intimidate me so I would bow to him and accept his word as law. It kind of felt like even he didn't want to use the word "doctor", but the darned corporate bureaucracy finally wore him down on that point. He completely disarmed me, though, when he placed himself in an inferior position by sitting down on the bench across from me, which was at least a foot lower than the examination table I was sitting on. He wasn't standing in front of me, talking down to me? Nope. And we talked sort of like we were already friends, which made it a heck of a lot easier to talk about something weird that I didn't want to talk about. He was candid, comfortable, and unusually happy (not like a puppy dog, but just in comparison to other doctors). Of course, the guy knows his stuff. I came prepared with knowledge (my sister is a nurse and she loaded me up with info the night before), and asked him question after question and he passed with flying colors. I don't just mean that he knew the right answers--I wasn't there to test him that way--but the quality and thoroughness of his responses were exactly what I needed to feel confident he was going to get me through this, and that I would feel better soon (I don't have a life-threatening illness, so, no, it wasn't delusional to lay down that much hope this time around). Anyway, I'm so grateful for the excellent treatment, that I was nurtured and nursed, and didn't leave feeling like I still didn't know what was going on, or like I had just fought a battle trying to get the doctor to hear me. And it all happened so quick: less than half an hour! Plus, I'm happy to report, the prescription he gave me had me feeling a bit better within a few hours (and even better now, which is still only 20 hours later). A+ service all around!

I get to the clinic at 6:18 PM and saw a sign to ring the doorbell. So I gave it a rang and sat down patiently awaiting 6:30 PM for my appointment. Around 6:26 PM the nurse comes out and is stunned to see me waiting. Immediately, she questions me and asks how long was I waiting and if I rang the doorbell. I let her know I thought I did upon arrival (even though my scheduled appointment should've let her know). She then let's me know she has already cleaned up for the day? I try to let know I booked the appointment online for a TB test, and she goes in the back for a few seconds. She proceeds to ask me if I can come back as it's a time sensitive test. Given the nature of the test I have to either come back Saturday or Sunday. I understand.... however, why have such times listed on the booking portal if you can't read the test within a reasonable time? To my understanding, the TB test has to be read within a 48-72 hours from the test given. That would land me anytime before 6:30 PM Sunday, and I was able to come before closing on Sunday to get it read.. Left quite vexed after not being heard nor with the TB skin test. Long story short, I had an EXTREMELY unpleasant experience here at Target Clinic. One would assume, if a time is listed on an appointment booking platform, the service listed can be administered. Not in this case. Even if the nurse concluded she personally would not be able to give the test, I could've been notified before my appointment time, and before I drove out to the clinic. Disappointed is the least I can say. The nurse on duty had a poor attitude. It could've been chalked up to a misunderstanding, but she carried such a LACK of professionalism and sensitivity. Please go somewhere else if you are looking for patient care!

Besides that, she asked what my visit was for and when I told her she said "there's nothing we can do about that, goodluck trying to get that fixed at the doctors office" Super unhelpful. Save your time and go someplace actually worth it.

Dr Salimi did my surgery. She was so amazing right from the start. Her energy and attitude made me feel so comfortable and confident everything was going to go well. She delivered my baby girl safe and sound and I had no complications. The whole surgery she made me comfortable. She was also teaching a student that day. I was so impressed by her teaching ability's. She was explaining everything to them really well. She did my entire surgery and then when it came to closing my skin she was teaching how to close up the skin and guiding a student to do so. I felt so confident that my scar will be none existent. She was giving great instructions and really helping boost the students confidence. I didn't even realize till later that Dr salimi is a resident. Thats how good she was. I would 100% recommended her to anyone. They also had music playing in the background and it was my type of music. Made the experience even better. The whole team of nurses and Drs was amazing! The best experience I could have asked for. So much better than my first c section.

Yesterday, I went to the unit to visit (as I was previously invited to do) and to see if I could get a medical-grade suction bulb. My baby has severe GERD and a high risk of aspiration--she chokes until her eyes are red and milk shoots from her nose. Having the right equipment for her safety is not something to play with. The treatment I received from Nurses HELEN and JESSICA was unprofessional and retaliatory. I have previously reported these nurses for their conduct during my baby's stay. When I arrived, Helen brushed me off and intentionally sent Jessica to the door to confront me. Jessica looked me in the face and said, 'I know who you are.' She then stood there acting as if the supplies were her personal property, condescendingly stating she would give me one 'this time only' and 'reminded' me that they don't provide these once a baby has left. It is deeply disappointing that staff would use a medical necessity to power-trip and settle a personal grudge. To treat a mother this way when she is simply trying to ensure her high-risk baby can breathe safely is unacceptable. ARMC management needs to address the behavior of Helen and Jessica immediately. I will not be returning to this unit to visit again. Their lucky My baby has to come to the clinic or i wouldn't step foot in this Hospital. Unless it was to see my OB. Sorry Dr. R & Dr. B but your staff that represent that unit need to be better VETTED
