I recently found out classes I'm taking are not transferable because the department teachers are not teaching at a proper university level curriculum. On top of that, I have been heavily misled several times by several different faculty. When I try to address these problems with supervisors, supervisors make promises to call me back with more information and then duck and dodge my calls. One department supervisor ended up calling me back and let me know she was only calling me back because her supervisor had to tell her to get in touch with me. He only knew she was failing to respond because I'd gotten in contact with him myself. If you're looking to further your education, take the time to find a better trusted college. One that has classes that are actually transferrable and will not lead you on. Otherwise you will be wasting your time here.

They told her she's not able to enroll due to no classes available,. We asked what about the next semester she said we won't have anything open then , we asked what about after that she said, we won't have anything available for a while. She then said you have to apply, which my daughter had all information on hand she then proceeded to say, well you need to apply for FAFSA and you need your parents information well like I said everything was already done . It's so disappointing how their answers are basically we can't help you. Thank god for other colleges that do help you and will help with the process. I have no idea how this place is running it's so foreign to me . I will take my daughter Down the hill to attend college. That's where we come from anyways i just never seen anything like this. Mr. Paul was so helpful when I got transferred to finish my externship for phlebotomy in Victorville. I was very nervous at first coming in to a new school, but he was so helpful with getting me back in the grove before going in to externship! I couldn't have done it without him! Mrs. Candy has and continues to be an amazing CMA teacher she has also made me want to become an instructor myself. She has been so helpful this far in to my course and couldn't thank her enough for the experience and encouragement that she has given me! Both these teachers have been amazing and deserve more credit than given! Once again I HIGHLY recommend take one of or both of their classes!

My experience with the school itself was terrible, the communication is terrible staff is terrible, except Janet. They literally will talk about other applicants that came to enroll after they leave and ive seen it firsthand!! I needed a simple answer to a question that took two minutes and was calling the school all morning no one was answering so i had to drive all the way to the school and as i was walking in the school i was calling and the phone was ringing and jasmine was at her desk talking and laughing with another staff member ignoring the phone when the question i had literally took two minutes. They never have a permanent coordinator for your externship they're money hungry. As long as you pay / make your payments on time they can care less because for no reason getting a externship site assigned to me should've took nine months after they told me at enrollment i should be done in may 2025!!!! I am not the only person that this has happened to either I've met pervious students who have been waiting longer! I don't recommend this school at all , they're just lazy and money hungry, and the bathroom has a permanent stench.

The instructor that I have, Lisa, prepares you in every way possible for each and every lecture, test and the national test. She is a happy, honest instructor and does not sugar coat anything. She is extremely open to any questions you have, nothing is taboo which makes being new to this field pleasant and an easy transition. The cost of the course, for me, was a little steep but to be able to complete the course in three weeks does make life much easier so it's the sacrifice you make to jump into the new field in such a short amount of time. All in all if you're interested in phlebotomy you should highly consider AUMT institute as an option. Be ready to hit the ground running and take the course seriously. When I have contacted my loan providers and the fafsa, I was informed that I do not have defaulted loans. EDIT: The department of education has confirmed there is no issue. I have received financial aid from another institution. The place here is disorganized, does not call you back, hangs up on you, ignores you and is rude. You're better off going to VVC, Barstow or downhill.
