This small company is fabulous. Tom, the owner, answers his own phone and from there it's the most professional operation I've encountered in recent times. He sends the Certificate of Insurance within hours as an attachment. He schedules you in with a window of an hour with name of person who will do the work. The workmen text you on the day of the appointment when they are almost there. Two very courteous young men arrive and within an hour you have sparkling clean windows. And the price is great! Over the years (from 2012 to 2017) their cost per window has gone up from $14 to $16 per window. These are enormous windows. We've used them at least 5 times in those years, and they've been outstanding every single time. They get in, do the job quickly and efficiently, and leave the windows sparkling clean. They'll take a check or cash. They arrive on time. Two of the windows have an a/c unit installed at the top. The guys just walked on the ledge outside, cleaned the outside of the window, and climbed back inside with nary a batted eyelash. These guys just left and are windows are beautiful! Fantastic, very professional job. Nice guys. Showed up when they were scheduled. Polite, time efficient and OUTSTANDING window cleaners. Also I forgot to get my certificate of insurance for the building manager and asked them very last minute. I don't recommend doing this, it isn't fair, but they did deliver the C of I just in time. Would NEVER call them again. They gave me a 1 hour window of 10 -11 am when their cleaner would arrive. At 10:50 I inquired when he/she was. I got a response that they would try and track him down. At 11:15 I called and I was told they were unable to reach him and he was most likely on the subway. I waited another 5 minutes and left. At 11:25 they called me back to tell me the cleaner was still at his earlier job. read more

I have been using Apple Window Cleaning for 5 years on a regular basis. In the past they always sent 2 individuals with harnesses. Today they sent one guy with no harness (and no shoe covers) and he complained from the moment he got here about how he wasn't going to be able to do a proper job. I had used Apple Window Cleaning twice in the past and was pretty satisfied but the service I got recently was the worst possible. Contrary to the past when they sent two cleaners, this time, only one came. He did such a poor job (cleaning traces left on the windows, unfinished job on one of the windows), that I contacted them to ask that they send someone to finish the job properly. It turned out it was the manager himself that came to clean my windows and he was unwilling to come back and finish, claiming that the stain on the window had to be cleaned with acid and there would be an extra cost for that. I highly recommend Apple Window Cleaning. After a mediocre experience with another company, someone recommended that we give Apple a try and we were not disappointed. When I needed to reschedule the window cleaning, Apple was able to accommodate me on my next available day. Also, they showed up on time and were highly professional throughout their (not overly long) time in the apartment. Most importantly, our windows are 100% clean (it's almost embarrassing realizing how dirty they used to be now that we can see through them so clearly). The price wasn't cheap -- around $15/window -- but it was still a good value. Two quick notes if you are thinking about using them: The phone number they provide is 212.620.0708 (I see a 929 number on Yelp; I'm not sure if that one is accurate or not). Also, if you need air conditioners removed and/or stored, Apple provides this service as well. We had already scheduled air conditioner removal/storage with another company but will consider doing both with Apple next time. We will be going back to Apple next time we need to get the windows cleaned in the City -- definitely the best service and result we've experienced, and while perhaps not the cheapest, they are not exorbitant either. read more

This was the worst experience of my life. I paid them to perform a professional cleaning of my entire loft and clean the rugs and couches. This was almost a $2,000 job. They barely did any cleaning and we had to stand over their shoulders to get them to do any of the basics. Even after this anything that they could miss they did. These guys just wanted to do the quickest job possible. My house cleaner does a better job then this supposedly multi-man crew. The cleaning of the fabric was even worst. They ruined my couches and rug. Everything needed to be replaced. I had another cleaning company come in afterward and they stated it was the worst cleaning job they had ever seen. Unfortunately, the damage was there and nothing could be done. After I called them to complain all they could do was to say it was my fault and that they would pay half the dry cleaning bill on the couches (how do you dry clean a couch?). Do yourself a favor and avoid at all possible cost. I learned my lesson - unfortunately it cost me tens of thousands to replace my items by using this mess of an outfit. read more
