The shrimp was horrible. Made with a corn bread batter. A very crumblely uncomfortable feel while chewing. Not use to shrimp cooked like this I was extremely disappointed with my plate. We mentioned this to the waitresses. "Her response,"..everyone is complaining about the shrimp." We had dinner at 8,' All day a problem with the shrimp, but the cook didn't correct the problem. Came to the wrong restaurant to meet some old friends . Ordered the tenders and fries. The 6 tenders were smedium (a combo of small and medium). But the were very hot. A bit over battered but still tasty. The fries were not bad. And it appear that they gave me like 20 fries. It really looked like they counted them out. All for 14$. Drinks: I had a margarita. It's was ok way too much ice but it was decent for 10$ The service was pretty good. The bartenders were nice and the were patient with their customers. What bothered me a bit was that the manager was hovering over the workers it actually made me feel uncomfortable. If you don't trust your workers what can you trust? The setting was very very dark it would be nice if they had brighter lighting. It was very clean in there and the service was fairly fast. I would certainly come back for a pick-up order. read more

THEY SERVED ME TRASH! The Chicken Parm noodles were old, dry and hard! I'm sure they'd been left out in the dry air all day! Fresh noodles and sauce slide off your fork when you lift it to your mouth, but this clump of dried mess was clearly old and dry, like a clump of clay! The chicken was undercooked and crust was dry, but the waitress insisted that it was all fresh. It clearly was not, and obviously, fresh from the microwave! I had one small bite of that chicken and no more. The waitress had a very nasty attitude, and when I saw the check, I understood why she was so aloof. The tip is already added to your checkout, so she has no incentive to be kind or attentive. She doesn't have to be. She gets paid at least 18% of the bill, wether you like it or not! I will never go there again. In fact, I was served this same trash at another location so it looks to me that this is the chains "business as usual" policy, to serve old food rather throw out anything! Hell, I can only hope they're not also giving us leftover scraps from other peoples plates! SMH! Where should I begin- the hostess at the front door was not friendly nor warm. I even tried to engage her in warm conversation. Was escorted to a booth and the seat was damaged (why would take people to a seat that is damaged/ torn). I asked could we sit elsewhere. Our server Selita was welcoming. She acknowledged us even while multitasking multiple tables. We told her to take her time. So we were able to talk and overlook the menu. Once Selita returned she took our order. Everything was not right, items came out either wrong and worst of all cold. Yes COLD. My son had the mozzarella sticks and the cheese is suppose to melt when you bite into it, what else was cold was my boneless chicken bites. My son and O barely touched our salads. However my and other guest were satisfied to say the least. What killed it for me was my entree a macaroni and cheese with chicken tenders, the chicken was raw! We had a great experience here! We came on a Friday night and wanted to be seated on the opposite side where the music was playing and they catered to our need. Only downside was that our booth was dirty. There was gum on my chair that grossed me out. Our server, Kris, greeted us immediately and she really knew her stuff. She wasn't writing our order down which threw us off since we ordered a number of appetizers, but she's good. The food came about 5-7 minutes later. A different server brought us the wrong wings and kind of got an attitude when we told her this isn't what we ordered, but Kris came the next second later. The waitress brought it to the wrong table! We were really surprised by how amazing the food was. The brisket quesadilla was juicy and well seasoned. The bone in was were moist and weren't over cooked. The mozzarella sticks were and hot and oozy. The wonton tacos were extremely delicious, great slaw and chicken ratio. Overall, it was a great experience. Because of the reputation of Applebee's you kind of don't come in with a high expectation for the food and service (which is a horrible rep to have), but they destroyed that notion. It was a late lunch (2p) when we arrived. It wasn't crowded at all and out appetizers and drinks came out pretty quickly. I chose the cheesy loaded potato soup to start. My entree was the bourbon chicken and shrimp. It came out sizzling. My gf chose the quesadilla burger and fries. The food was very good and plentiful. I also decided to try dessert. My husband and I went here because he hadn't been to an Applebee's in quite a while.. and after this it will be a while before we return to any location other than this one. We were greeted at the door and told they needed to clean a table for us. Then he got the bin to clear the table for us. The server took a few more minutes to stop by but that fine fine. She took our orders and was off. We ordered salads and the entrees and she said she'd be right back with the salads. 30 minutes later she returned with our entire order. I ordered my steak medium and it was over cooked and under seasoned, the broccoli and fries had no seasoning. The salad had tomatoes and cucumbers diced up like a chop salad but nothing else was. The diced tomatoes were soggy and from working in food for many years these were definitely on their way to rotten. My husband ordered the salmon and it came out over cooked with a heavy burnt taste. His garlicky green beans had a hint of garlic but no other seasoning. Our server never returned to see how our food was or anything. The next time we saw her was when she dropped off our check with a line of sorry been really busy trying to get this order. Never asked if we wanted dessert or to go boxes. Working a customer service job can be the pits, especially when the restaurant is crowded and you aren't feeling all that great. I get it, I've had to work those kinds of jobs myself. However, there is a standard that has to be met none the less, and I'm afraid that this Applebee's didn't meet that standard at all. Our waitress was unwelcoming and her mood never lifted above "depressed automaton" once during the entire meal. She only stopped by the table after other servers pointed out that our drinks were low, and even then it came across like a monumental task to bring us refills. We ordered the spinach-artichoke dip to start with. It came with a mountain of nearly stale tortilla chips, the promised spinach dip, and strangely enough, a random bowl of salsa. Did the kitchen want to ensure that we ate all the chips so they wouldn't feel bad about letting them go to waste? We also ordered the pretzel sticks with Brew Pub Cheese. When people order something like this, it's usually because they want the salty, crunchy tender taste of the pretzel mixed in with the deliciousness of the beer-infused melted cheddar sauce. That's the point. It doesn't quite work without both components blending in harmony. First the appetizer arrived with a small bowl of honey mustard, but no cheese. I informed our waitress; oops, they forgot to put it on the plate. Ten minutes later she comes out with a bowl of cheese. I dip in my pretzel, but oh dear, the cheese dip is some kind of creamy Parmesan, not the Pub cheese I was waiting for. I flagged down a server (as our waitress was nowhere in the vicinity) and explained the situation. He blinked at me slowly and replied "So...what'd you want?" as I struggled to keep from facepalming. I said I wanted the correct cheese that goes with this appetizer, the Brew Pub cheese. He struggled with the concept before finding our waitress so I could explain all over again. Our entrees came out (two lukewarm chicken finger baskets with barely acceptable chicken tenders and sub-par fires coated in salt and pepper. What makes these chains think that dredging cheap greasy fries in a heavy salt/pepper mix makes them special?) and with them a new bowl of cheese. Our waitress toddled off before I could explain that the white color of the cheese and the color presence of jalapeno bits suggested that we were now dealing with queso blanco dip, not Pub cheese. I even tasted it to be sure, and yes, this was not the cheese I'd been looking for. I was determined by now, even though our pretzels were long cold and the sheer level of incompetence was now hysterical instead of rage-inducing. We were halfway through our meal when we finally got the correct cheese. Pretzel priests blew the horn of Ascension, pretzel supplicants fell to their knees in exaltation for behold! The time of the Promised Cheese had come, no more would they suffer under the false idol cheeses of the past! I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon, but if I do, I hope that the manager of this location takes the time to do some intensive reviews/training with his staff and that my next review is a positive one.
