OMG. What are the chances that I run into Ms. Khadijah again? On top of that, I had mistakenly thought my flight was earlier and ran into Raymond but he gave me the low down. He was a sweetie pie, too. Man, I miss the East Coast! Nothing but cool peeps like me just living their lives. After learning that I had a 4 hour layover, I was STOKED. Saw my girl, Khadijah for my returning flight to LA!! I was ECSTATIC! YOU HAVE NO IDEA. It's not the drink but the great vibes and company at Martini's. In fact, I noticed that when she's working, she's always got a full bar. It's her excellent attitude and vibe! I showed up and she had everyone up at the bar so I sat to the right of the bar so I can charge my phone! Even better, she remembered me! She told me that you can grab a drink if you have family, and sit across the way, if need be because those under 21 cannot sit at the bar. 2025.11-05/WED_1400: Just finished a long flight from LAX and had a two hour layover at BWI. I found the only bar between Concourse A and B. Originally, I was trying to stay close to gate A8. Had no idea my gates had changed to gate B. Martini is located at the top of the escalator on the way to Concourse B and the food court. The airport is under construction but you'll see it when you look for the escalator. There was a good amount of customers that looked like they were also on a layover having a great time. The bartender was a gorgeous lady by the name of Khadijah. It's so wonderful to see her beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. I don't know how she does it dealing with some grumpy and idiotic people! She's incredible just knocking everyone out with her wonderful customer service, attitude and SMILE. This changed her from beautiful to gorgeous or gorgeous to stunning. Whichever is top notch! Hospitality is 200%! Some customers feel so entitled and she handled everyone like a champ. No fuss, just a lovely attitude and she let stuff roll off her like waterproof wood stain. She also made me a drink called a Sexy Mule which had muttled blueberries, a flower of some sort (can't remember which flower liquor she told me) and extra ginger (it looked like pink lemonade garnished with blueberries). It hit the spot! Great suggestion! It was nothing like those bland Moscow Mules. If you are wondering where to go after a long flight and you're stuck at BWI for a long layover, I would suggest you see Khadijah at Martini because you won't receive stellar hospitality at any other bar at BWI like this! Good airport bar if you have a layover and not much to do. It's kinda tucked into a corner with 2 seating areas: barstools and a few tables separate from the main bar. Drinks are pretty good and strong. The bartenders are hilarious and super sweet. I accidentally broke a martini glass (so embarrassing) and they were so kind in cleaning it up and making me another drink. Nijah -- I hope I spelled that correctly -- was awesome and makes a great mango margarita! The only downside I would mention is the price ($$$), but it is in an airport, so that's to be expected. read more

It's not every day that a guy like me gets an opportunity to stop for a pick-me-up before catching a flight, but I was lucky enough to be able to do so today at the BWI airport at a bar called the Martini Bar. The service and atmosphere was super chill despite there being a rampant and quite disturbingly rude customer who was trying to give our Bartender (a very sweet and attentive young lady) an inconceivably difficult time, without cause, and the drinks (yes, I ordered another- why not?) were fantastic! Today, is the first time that I'd actually had time to enjoy a drink before catching a flight to handle some rather daunting family business abroad. So I appreciate it! Patrick Carson at Martini Bar is rude and that is what ruined my experience. There was a fruit fly in my margarita. I asked him to make me a new margarita and he rolled his eyes and said sure like it wasn't an inconvenience. I showed him where the fly was and while he was making my drink, I saw flies above the garnish station at the bar. He made me a new margarita and poured the new cocktail in my old glass and gave me my glass back with the lime that was in the previous cup. It was challenging to find a working USB-A charging port around BWI airport (since I forgot my adapter) so when I spotted the multiple lamps with these ports at the Martini Bar, I had to stop and enjoy a drink while my phone charged. The bartender was friendly and there was good music playing at the bar. Got a couple glasses of their prosecco to enjoy. There's only about 2 bar snacks (pretzels or hummus) available, so if you're hungry go elsewhere. Good and convenient spot between Concourse/Terminals A and B for a drink though. Drink menu has a small range of beer, wine, and cocktails ranging in price from $8 to $17. I would stop in again for a drink next time I'm at BWI. read more

I've walked past Martini Bar a ton of times but never stopped for a drink. I finally stopped by for a drink when I was flying out of BWI last month. My martini (I went with a classic dirty vodka martini, but they have a full menu of martinis and other cocktails) was good, and I really loved all of outlets for charging. The service was really good, and it was a great place to have a cocktail (or did I have two?) and do a little work or reading while waiting for a flight. read more

Patrick Carson at Martini Bar was slow to serve, made a sad, lame joke about women over 40 wanting to be proofed and had very little to offer when it came to making the drinks on the menu. The bar lacked various options of vodka and he could not make the martini we asked for(also no screwball whiskey available). We were fine with a simple espresso martini however. Patrick did not check on us as we sat the bar other than to tell me he was done with my credit card and to put it away. He also made a point to tell us we could sit across the way at the other tables as one of our older children(age 17) was standing with us at the bar and was not allowed to sit. Eventually we did ask for the bill and moved ourselves to those tables. About 10 minutes later, Patrick left his duties at the bar to confront us about the "inappropriate" tip we left him, that he works hard and that he flagged my credit card so that I am never allowed to drink at that bar. Extremely rude. Patrick C did not deserve any tip even the little one I had left him based on the service that we received. We had a flight that was delayed and then cancelled and we spent 6 hours at the bar with Storm (the bartender). She was the BEST!! She was very friendly, attentive and sympathetic to our travel disruption. There were quite a few people in our situation and she handled them all with grace and understanding. She made suggestions for drinks when I was trying to decide. We made sure to go back and visit her on our return trip even though we were in a different terminal. I have been in this airport 4 times. All 4 times I do my layovers at this lounge. The music is AMAZING. The drinks are AMAZING. Had a flight from Cancun on Sunday night (4-7) around 7:00 pm, landing at Baltimore airport. I was travelling alone and I am an anxious flyer. Headed towards my gate but had a 4 hr layover and wanted to get something to drink. I saw this Martini bar and was so excited to stop, charge my phone and have a beverage. I noticed some stores/shops/restaurants closing and wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to inconvenience the lady at the Martini Bar by arriving too late. I asked her what time she closed and her reply was "I don't know". I asked her again and she said again, "I don't know". I only hope this lady was not the manager of this bar as she was very rude and angry. Several of the customers seated around the bar were shocked at her response. I would give this review a ZERO rating if I could. AND, OMG, this bar has another negative review and the patron took a picture of the employee and IT IS THE SAME WOMAN!!!
