The martinis are good. The choice is broad. The timing is off and slower than I'd like. Still, a good martini for 20 dollars (slightly more with appropriate tip) and you get a clean, quiet break from the terminal behind you. I'd come here in the center of a city.

The sam glass and same lime that had a fruit fly in it. Patrick Carson is the worst bartender.

Patrick Carson at Martini Bar is rude and that is what ruined my experience. There was a fruit fly in my margarita. I asked him to make me a new margarita and he rolled his eyes and said sure like it wasn't an inconvenience. I showed him where the fly was and while he was making my drink, I saw flies above the garnish station at the bar. He made me a new margarita and poured the new cocktail in my old glass and gave me my glass back with the lime that was in the previous cup. I thanked him and he continue to act like I was lying.

Bar with multiple lamps on the counter with charging USB outlets.

It was challenging to find a working USB-A charging port around BWI airport (since I forgot my adapter) so when I spotted the multiple lamps with these ports at the Martini Bar, I had to stop and enjoy a drink while my phone charged. The bartender was friendly and there was good music playing at the bar. Got a couple glasses of their prosecco to enjoy. There's only about 2 bar snacks (pretzels or hummus) available, so if you're hungry go elsewhere. Good and convenient spot between Concourse/Terminals A and B for a drink though. Drink menu has a small range of beer, wine, and cocktails ranging in price from $8 to $17. I would stop in again for a drink next time I'm at BWI.

I've walked past Martini Bar a ton of times but never stopped for a drink. I finally stopped by for a drink when I was flying out of BWI last month. My martini (I went with a classic dirty vodka martini, but they have a full menu of martinis and other cocktails) was good, and I really loved all of outlets for charging. The service was really good, and it was a great place to have a cocktail (or did I have two?) and do a little work or reading while waiting for a flight.

I had the opportunity to have a layover at the Baltimore airport while waiting for my sister. I mentioned Old Fashion to Kay the bartender. She informed me that she makes a great one...she did not lie!! Along with her great old fashion and martini, her personality was perfect, especially for this setting.

Because a ridiculous layover is only managed well with alcohol. Love the Martini bar in BWI, largely because of K! Great bartender: knows what they're doing, amazing sense of humor, and wonderful management of the flow of an unusual bar setting. And prices aren't even bad for an airport! Definitely THE best place to wait out a garbage flight situation.

I have to say this is the best Apple Martini I've ever had. That's no joke. I am very impressed & wish U had another. 03/09/22

Best Apple Martini I've ever had the pleasure to experience. All fresh ingredients. This will be my stopping ground when traveling to PR in the future. It is located at BWI Airport in Terminal A. I usually board at Terminal B. I have been missing out. I need to make more travel trips that include this terminal.

I enjoyed my time in the BWI airport. My flight was delayed like 3x but the bars, restaurants and shops kept Me occupied. I believe my servers name was ShaMeka, she was nice and maintained a busy bar with little to no wait. I had the Baltimore cosmo and it was good and strong! The blueberries were especially sweet which was nice for bar fruit. I would def recommend stopping here to grab a drink and charge your devices.

Do you want a good, moderately price cocktail? While working on your laptop? And charging your cell phone? All while sitting in a comfortable chair? This. Is. Your. Spot! Definitely my favorite place for a cocktail at BWI. If only they served some small plates or snack or lite bites to accompany your beverage....

Lazy disrespectful employee running customers away
    Terri K.

Rude disrespectful employee turned off screens purposefully when I was unsure whether I wanted to stay or not after her first words out of her mouth while standing 10 feet away at the other end of the short bar " I need to see your ID". Wow. Not a walk up to me, hello. How are you none if this. Not what anyone should receive as their 1st reception. She needs to be gone. A reflection in management and ownership of she remains. Training in customer service desperately needed.

I have been in this airport 4 times. All 4 times I do my layovers at this lounge. The music is AMAZING. The drinks are AMAZING. They have at the bar seating and another space off to the side where you can social distance. Lots of places to charge your phone. Bathroom near by. It's literally the best.

    Baltimore Cosmo! Yum!

We started with Potato Cakes with crème fraiche, they had a nice crunch, a tender interior with subtle flavor. I'd never had them with crème fraiche, it was a nice change and the mild tanginess with the creamy texture complimented the Cakes well. I ordered the Main Street with Weisswurst, a Pretzel and plain Spätzle. It was my first, the veal's flavor is understated in comparison to Bratwurst or Knackwurst (not on the menu) and was a pleasant changeup. The Pretzel was little disappointing while it was a decent pretzel, it lacked the crisp crust and distinctive flavor I expected. As evident by the rating while worthy of note, it's not a game changer. I'd ordered a large plain Spätzle, which was two regular portions, but was served Spätzle with cheese I tasted it and it wasn't my thing, which is not to say it was bad, I just don't care for cheese in dishes like that. Our server swapped one cheese for plain (my wife had happily stolen the other) and enjoyed the replacement. I found that the grilled onions gave it a nice homey flavor. Mistakes happen and it turned out to be a win in the end. We shared a couple of desserts and by far, my favorite was the Black Forest Cupcake. It's on the large side, they might be able to cut on the weighty crème icing, the chocolate cake and soaked cherries were a delight. The cherries are a significant improvement over the Marchinos I had before, if only there were more. Rathskeller can get a little loud, as it is a relatively small space with hard surfaces so voices reflect, it wasn't packed this afternoon, so it wasn't an issue. Waitstaff dresses very casually, it pleasant and fairly attentive.

Sidelines Bar & Grille - Great Cheesesteaks, Burger Didn't Hit…read more I've had the cheesesteak here twice on happy hour and it was great -- especially at the discounted price. That's what brought me back. Turns out Thursdays are burger special day instead, $3 off. The space is wide open with plenty of seating. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, which is a nice touch. This place can get rowdy during home games and late nights, but I've always had a good time here. Today I went with the All-Star burger -- cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle spear on a brioche bun. Asked for medium with mayo. It came open-face, and instead of spreading the mayo on the bun, it was squirted unevenly over the lettuce and tomato. That kind of set the tone. The burger itself? Dry. Bland. The brioche bun felt about a day away from stale. Nothing offensive, just completely forgettable. It was inexpensive on special, but it didn't move the needle for me. I'll still vouch for the cheesesteak. Return for the cheesesteak. Skip the burger.

They live very close to a location there, and we got pizza to go when I was visiting them one time maybe in 2022. The pizza was very good as I recall. Then, I saw there was a location of Primanti Bros. opening in Linthicum Heights near BWI Airport, the first location in the Baltimore-DC area. They were having a grand opening on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, where the 1st 100 customers were going to get free sandwiches for year. I live about 13 miles from here, and I toyed with the idea of trying to be one of the first 100. But I opted against as even if I got there at 6 AM for the 10 or 10:30, whatever grand opening time, and there's still no guarantee I'd be the 1st 100. And I'd be pissed that I drove all the way there and stood there for hours to get nothing in the end. Not to mention, I had work too (although on average probably slower due to also Juneteenth holiday), which I could do from out there to a certain extent. Ultimately, I had emailed them, and they said the 100th customer got there at approximately 4 AM that morning! That's insane. This place really has a cult following! A friend, who knew I lived in AA County, loves this place and mentioned the idea of meeting up with me one Sunday to watch a Ravens game, and him and his fiancée (wife as of March 2025) went up there a few times to watch game or other reasons they went that way. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, like Juneteenth the holiday Primanti Bros. opened, it was Rosh Hosannah, and that friend who had off (as he works in a school & they get the Jewish holiday) off invited me to lunch with another friend of ours. My work was slow that day, and I needed to eat lunch somewhere anyway. I probably would've eaten lunch at home or close to home if they hadn't thought to invite me. So, I drove the 13 miles from home to meet up with them. Those two friends were kind of high. Well sure, it was a holiday they were off work. And they were hungry too! I was hungry too because well it was lunchtime. Service was prompt & friendly answering our questions. However, server was a bit of a klutz as she accidentally spelled some water got a bit on one friend. Geez, was she the one who was high?!...just kidding, it's just one of those accidents that can happen being a server. She was apologetic. My friend took it with stride having a positive attitude. I believe I got a pastrami sandwich, but could've been corned beef. Their sandwiches are big, pilled high with lots of meat & delicious too. I can really see why the following for this place with the quantity but also the high quality. Fries were plentiful too, which were also delicious. I ate well that day for lunch and was quite full. I went to an event that evening, and I think I just ate something small/snack for dinner that night after I got home around 9 PM. This was a great service with excellent plentiful sandwiches & fries and nice service.

We waited and watched while a couple other parties were seated. And we waited. And waited. Two restaurant staff ladies walked by casually, chatting about leaving work early, while we waited. A food runner ran by twice, while we waited. The people in the next booth over were brought extra ranch dressing, while we waited. And we waited, and we waited. No drink order, no "I'll be with you in a minute", no acknowledgement whatsoever from the moment we sat down until nearly 10 minutes later when we got up and left. On our way out, we noticed the two gals who had walked by us several times, they were just sitting out front of the restaurant, having a casual conversation. (This was 8:00 pm on 7/12) Restaurant staff should be reminded that they have a job in a busy international airport, where people are probably hungry or tired or in a rush, or all of the above.
