I put my finger by the brownie for size reference, and it was like a 1oz condiment cup of ice cream. Lol

Food is ok. I'd skip the brownies and ice cream dessert though, it's tiny and you get a condiment cup of ice cream.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. You might be wondering why the heck I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Well....I go there a lot. Like several times a year. The service is not always the best. We are always nice to the servers and give them good tips. And they know us well. Yet they are not always nice to us. Yet we always go back for the food. It is delicious! The spinach dip is obviously my favorite. Also if you haven't tried the wonton chicken tacos then you do not know what you are missing. Their brunch burger is my favorite burger yet I've heard the quesadillas burger is even better. Speaking of witch their quesadillas are really good. For main entrees my favorite is the cheesy parmesan shrimp and steak. The steak is so good and nicely grilled, topped with juicy yummy baby shrimp tosses in this buttery cheesy sauce that'll leave you licking your plate. And of course their desserts are delicious like the brownie bites. I tell you, no matter how full you are, you'll never want to share them. But the best dessert of them all is the triple chocolate meltdown. That one is TO DIE FOR. Like you literally die and go to heaven once you taste it. And you'll forget everything else but the sweet, rich, chocolatey taste exploding in your mouth. Oh I could keep going but I'll have to stop for now. Obviously I cannot recommend this place enough.

Applebee's is always a good place to go if 1) You really don't feel like cooking and just want a decent burger or pasta or 2) If you're looking for a spot to grab some appetizers and drinks late in the evening after bowling, a movie or insert activity that gets out after 9 here. The wait staff is always pleasant and the walls are lined with art that suggests they want to be neighbors, but in the same was as if I went a bought a bunch of family pictures from an estate sale and declared I was "one of the family"! After 9 the appetizers are half off, they have drink specials and lots of room for groups. Not the place to go if you're looking for some authentic local cuisine, but overall a good place for some quick, greasy, know what you're gonna get food that is consistently decent and better then spending the same amount of money and more time heating up something similar at home.

Great kind and speedy service. The chicken Alfredo came a little cool (so warm and not that hot) but the fries, pretzel sticks, and margaritas were great! I'll be sure to come back here when I'm feeling pretzels and margs!

Mixed bag tonight. Our server, Nate, was on point. Good service, which seems to be rare. We didn't wait or want for anything service wise. The meal...ah, the meal. Where to start? We asked if the stir fry was spicy. No was the answer. The reality was spicy. My ribs were tasty. The sauce was both sweet and spicy. My potato was Idaho fresh. As in fresh from the field. Hot and under cooked. My child has the corn dog which must have been good - it disappeared quickly.

I usually eat at Applebee's late at night with a huge group for their half off appetizers and pitchers of beer. I get their frozen mango lemonade which I love. Recently I had an actual meal with my boyfriend. The meal was pretty decent! The service is always in the good-great range for me. Applebee's isn't my first choice, but when I do go I always enjoy it.

Me enjoying an impeccable tortilla chip! :P

My husband had 2 Zero Eddys and the Tribute two for lunch. He raved about the lobster bisque. I had the Tribute two with French Onion Soup and a really wonderful piece of chicken parm, along with iced tea. We started our meal out with the Burrata Caprese and could have made a meal out of it! We're greeted promptly and seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order, two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc , a strawberry Mojito and a local brew. Their wine list is not great. When she returned with our drinks, we ordered some appetizers. We ordered the Wagyu meatballs, the Barrata, the Caio de Pepa, garlic rosemary fries, and the deviled eggs. Apps came out in a timely manner, and then we ordered dinner. For dinner we ordered the rigatoni and the pork belly carbonara (OMG). We ended the night with two desserts. The chocolate cheesecake and the blueberry cobbler à la mode. The ambience is definitely vibing & loud but you're still able to hold conversations at your table without having to talk louder. The place was packed. It was a Friday night. Our server was phenomenal. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. The FOOD REVIEW: Wagyu meatballs-SKIP them. They didn't taste like wagyu to us & they were overcooked and dry EVEN sitting in tomato sauce. Ick, The Barrata app was our favorite! Very flavorful. Very appetizing. The Caio de Pepa-SKIP it. Not at all what I thought was ordered. How dare they put a fried spin on an iconic Italian dish. FAIL. Deviled eggs were tasty. We really liked the pickled jalapeño topper. Maybe add a bigger square of Bacon. Garlic Rosemary Fries-Nothing special but the garlic aïoli was tasty. The rigatoni-I love the authentic Italian egg touch. The pork belly carbonara-WINNER WINNER!!!!!! This was so delicious!!!!! I couldn't get enough of it even when I was full. Absolutely hits all of your taste buds & senses!!!! I'm craving it again tonight. I want to pickup an order to bring with me back to Arizona, for my foodie friends to try. It's that good. Don't pass on the pork belly carbonara.!!!!! Chocolate cheesecake-SKIP it. Nothing special. Blueberry cobbler à la mode-GET IT!!!! Wow!!!!! Another delicious option!!!!! If I could eat, the pork belly carbonara & the blueberry cobbler à la lode, every day for the rest of my life, I would be happy!!!!!!!!

My wife isn't a big pizza fan, so anytime we have an opportunity to pick pizza as a dine-in dinner, and blame it on others, I'm going to take that opportunity. And she loved it too. First for the appetizer, we chose the onion rings. They were really onion straws (remember the old Damon's BBQ Onion Loaf? They're like that!). They were great. A bit messy, but great. For pizza, we went with the thin crust Union Jack, which is basically deluxe: Italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, red bell pepper. I loved the way they cut the peppers super thin, and the pizza was fantastic. I'd love to try the other crust/styles as well someday, but the table voted and that's what we landed on. Six stars for the pizza. The restaurant is bigger than it looks, and was very crowded on an early Saturday evening. It is obviously popular, as the inside dining was full and the outdoor patio was nearly as popular. Service was very friendly, and helped us navigate the crust decision. The only downside - and I didn't test them on it - is the 'only one refill' rule on their fountain drinks. I hate this rule almost as much as Mexican restaurants charging for the second basket of chips and salsa. It just makes no sense to me. But I don't think I even finished the first one, so I have no idea if they would have actually charged me if I had !GASP! asked for a third drink. This is a top ranking for me - loved it, will return next time I'm in town. If you're looking for a great pizza place with other dishes on the menu, Wig & Pen is a great choice!

I love their Italian sausage and huge side salad the best blue cheese dressing around. I liked being able to order a stout on tap so I could get that nice inch of creamy head. The kind that gives me a mustache - it's so good. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. And we got to watch our team (Norway) unjustly lose on one of their big screen TVs. The spacious restaurant with an old school charm has plenty of rooms for the crowds that seek out their delicious pizza. Another table next to us ordered the thin crust, so I'm guessing that's as good as the huge pie we got. But if you like Chicago style, you must try the Wig and Pen-this is their original location I went to in the 90s, and I'm happy to say it's just as good as I remembered-every year when I return to visit family. It's either here or Sam's Pizza for the colossal cheese filled loveliness.
