35 minutes to get a steak? Portions are smaller than Albany. Waitresses rarely checked on us during the wait.

Been going to the bar for many years and the food is tasty, restaurant is clean. However, recently the management instituted a 3 drink maximum regardless of how long you are at the bar. 4 hours to watch a sporting event...3 drink maximum. Not only that but you cannot order your next drink until you have completely finished the current one. Watch very carefully what you say to the staff. A guy I used to see at the bar suddenly stop coming. I found out that he made an insensitive remark to one of the staff and was banned for life on the spot. No warning given...just a ban. Recommend that you do not strike up a conversation with any of the staff...just order your food and drinks and never speak to the staff again. I have stopped going there. read more

The food was marginal and management seems very odd! However they have a firecracker server in Sunny! She made my experience 5 star when nothing else about the place deserved one star! She had asked the manager to say hello to us and she did not ever stop by my table. My husband and I told Sunny to find a better place to work! You shine like a diamond surrounded by a pile of coal! If we come back it will only be because Sunny is there! She should manage the joint or at least teach others there how to shine! Deserving of her name as well! This Applebee's has been pretty solid every time I've eaten here - I've always promptly been waited on, the establishment has always been clean, and the food has always been good. For the record, as far as food/drinks go, I come here for the chicken salad, appetizers, and mixed drinks. And for all those things, this Applebee's location checks out. I never come here expecting 5-star dining - I come here expecting to have a good casual dining experience whilst sipping on a goofy blue alcoholic beverage with a gummy shark in it. This is a good location with plenty of parking. It is also right next to the movie theater, making this a good pre- or post-movie dining destination. I've never had to wait for a seat here, as tables get wiped down pretty quickly for the next patrons. I've ultimately been happy with my experiences here, so I recommend this Applebee's location to those seeking a pleasant casual dining experience! read more

I liked my food, I ordered the tex-mex shrimp bowl. Had yummy flavor to the shrimp, however the lettuce did taste bitter which wasn't really the best. Was very disappointed with the quality of food. Applebee's used to have pretty high standards, and when my husband and I ate there in Portland, we were never disappointed. The salad was sub -standard, my husband's steak was full of gristle, and my rib tips were not prepared well with bbq sauce on the back instead of on the meat side. Also, the hostess sat us on the empty side of the restaurant when there were plenty of tables where white customers were sitting ( we are African American). Soon after that, another group of non white folks were seated on the same side as we were, and shortly after that, the hostess seated several white customers on the other side where all the white customers were seated, thinking we were stupid enough not to notice. It saddens me to say this, but this is the last time we'll be going to this Corvallis Applebees, and I sincerely hope this is not the policy of Applebee's nationwide. Love the staff here. Always friendly. The cooks do a perfect steak everytime. Management however is nonexistent. No kitchen manager to send out your salad before your steak. After several times of this happening not once has a manager ever come to address the issue. read more

Placed my order thru the app using "reorder" and expecting to receive same food as I ordered on 10/30/2021. I used to be a regular customer. Came to my attention that the option to take out the shrimps on a plate was not on the app then I called them immediately after posted my order to ask for no shrimps because I'm allergic. The lady on the phone ask me if the no shrimps was for the 2 orders and I said there are NOT 2 orders, just one chicken and 1 sirloin but she said not, my order was for 2 chickens. I asked her to fix that and she denied to do it, when I raised my voice she transfer me with the manager. Manager at the beginning said no to fix my problem until I told him that my order wasn't picked up yet, then he "fixed" the problem. My orders are always customized and he never ask me for any options I had and I assume that their system shows my profile. As expected the order came wrong, broccoli instead of green beens and mashed potato instead of baked potato. Called the restaurant asked to talk to the manager and this guy instead to look for provide me with the best possible service just blame for the issue and stated "we receive thousands of orders per day" minimizing my problem and basically ignoring that the customer is always right, specially because was their mistake since the beginning when this cheap application failed to work as expected. This is the third time something happens, previously they haven't processed my order and we had to wait 48 minutes to get it and some items where cold. If this guys want to recover from the last year closure they should have to hire competent managers, no those kind of jerks who think that treating the customers like we're receiving freebies from them. For that price, I got one tomato, a few onion, and half piece of lettuce? The description of the burger on the menu listed pickles on there, yet I did not taste any pickles in there at all! Not to mentioned that it took at least 15 minutes for us to receive our meals, (given that it was a bit busy during dinner time). Customer service was not great either. Our server disappeared after we received our meal, came back when we HAD to track her down for a few condiments, and then saw her again when we got our bill. [+] They have a pretty good happy hour menu, but we didn't go during happy hour. For my burger, I really liked the fact that the patty was well done and not overcooked. So happy Applebee's is open for dining again. We've really missed eating here. The wait staff are always so friendly and helpful and of course we love the food. I was glad to see they're taking the social distancing and sanitation seriously. The tables are spaced apart and there's no seating allowed at the bar. All the employees are wearing masks, too. My two close friends and I decided to go to dinner here before we left town for the summer. My two friends had previously raved about how amazing the service and food was here - which I didn't doubt since I've always had an incredible experience at the Applebee's chain. Our trip here started out wonderful, with a lovely waitress. She was very prompt with everything she did and was incredibly kind. Our food came out quick and it was all very filling and amazing. However, when it came time to pay, our experience became horrible. Our waitress dropped our checks off at the table and my two friends put their cards on their checkbooks and I put cash down. When our waitress came back to cash us out, she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and in a very irritated voice said "Oh, you're paying with cash". I uncomfortably confirmed as she rolled her eyes again and walked off. She quickly returned my friends books with their cards, and we were left to wait 45 minutes for her to return the rest of my change. The restaurant was not busy whatsoever and we watched her go to the back and did not return until my money was brought back, so I can only assume she didn't have any other tables, or they were having just as bad of a time as we were. The slowest service, horrible tasting food and lousy customer relation. We arrived and were seated immediately, which was nice. There was maybe 8 other tables with customers at the time. Once seated about 10 minutes go by and our waitress shows up to take our drink order. We place our drink order and an order of Mozzarella sticks with ranch. Almost 15 more minutes go by and the waitress walks up and asks us for refills. Having no drinks sitting in front of us I asked "refills on what? We haven't even received our drinks we originally ordered" to which I got a sorry and another 5 minutes of wait. The Mozzarella sticks finally come out (without ranch). Shortly there after we place our dinner order. My wife asked for the orange chicken irristabowl, I got rib eye medium rare. Dinner shows up 15 minutes later (still no ranch for Mozzarella sticks). My steak is hard and cooked well done and wifes bowl shows up as a shrimp bowl. To which she is allergic. She explained that it wasn't her order the waitress said it was, she then looked and said "oops I'm sorry". By this time I was done, I didn't care that my steak was wrong or my veggies were cold. We just wanted the experience to be done. We got our ticket that was incorrect and was double charging for my sons drinks. Paid and left. I will never go here again.
