My name is Kent and I went to BW yesterday. I don't know Tawny very well but I know that I've been in there several times and she's definitely the only bartender that I would wanna go in there and have serve me. She always makes sure that I have my second drink before my drink is almost gone. She always make sure that I have a great time, she also somehow gets me to add stuff or get stuff that I did not plan on getting what a great little sales one she is LOL ... She is always happy and has a bubbly personality witch is awesome. I never thought I was gonna go back again. I was just trying to find somewhere to eat while I was in Corvallis. I'm not even from Corvallis, but Somehow she told me see you tomorrow and somehow I just did. It was just something about her that made me wanna come back... that being said I was in there yesterday and she was busy. She was doing an amazing job, but there was a manager there. I don't know her name but she kind of had a high-pitched voice dark hair and she was just being god-awful to Tawny she handled it quite well though I mean the manager would say something kind of snooty to her and Tawny would just be like OKay I understand and she will go back to working her butt off with a smile on her face after being treated that way, and you could tell that the manager just didn't like her or something because she would just be rude to her the whole time and I heard Other people complaining about the manager while I was there cause I was there for a good two hours I was trying to do some work on my computer as I own my own business and I like to go there because Tawny always makes sure that everything is just how I need it to be. She always make sure I have a plug-in. She makes sure that other people are handled around me as well so that there's never anything wrong when I'm there and I love that. But after seeing the Manager treat her that way I don't know if I'd wanna go back and watch that happen again I think I would have to try to figure out what day that Manager is not there and go in that day to have Tawny as my server because I want to not have to hear that kind of stuff while I'm trying to eat my lunch and work, but I don't know who to say it too, so I am just giving my opinion on here. I hope this is heard by someone higher up, I don't know if I should call corporate or what, but I sure hope that this is addressed by someone...I'm leaving a 5 star. This is a solid place for decent food with good prices and lots of TVs for sports. Some of the deals on the menu are crazy cheap like $5. Our server was very personable. The food is about what you'd expect. Serviceable, but nothing special. Ambiance seemed a bit tired, but just fine for a sports bar vibe. read more

Tawny is THE best server!! She always remembers us and makes us feel welcome. Our order is always correct when she is our server. She goes above and beyond to make sure we have extra napkins, refills our drinks and gets us everything we need. We wish she worked on Fridays and Saturdays because the service isn't as good with the other servers. So we try to come in when she is working and we know we will have great service! read more

This place has great food and great prices! They have weekly specials that you can't beat. I will say The weekend bartender who is the manager I found out? I don't know how she is a manager because all we have ever seen her do is roll her eyes at the other servers/bartenders and have heard her talk badly about other coworkers multiple times. The service sucks during the day Monday through Friday. Today we went there for dinner 530. No one acknowledges you when you walk in never have any coffee. They make it one time a day and that's it. First thing in the morning the food is great, but you know when the service sucks And they don't acknowledge you. You have to go get your own silverware or your own condiments. Or you have to ask to have some more iced tea or more water it gets to the point where I think it might not be worth going there anymore just because of the aggravation. Then, when our entrees came she brought along an order of onion rings that the kitchen had made fresh for me from what they had on hand. They were amazing! They were super fresh. Every time we come to eat here we always leave wishing it would be better. Corvallis is in need of a decent sports bar with great food or just better dining overall, Todays experience which is sums up most of our visits to benchwarmers. Order wings, salad, and a kids meal for my daughter. Food took 50 min to receive. Of course no one could bring the salads out early and when the food did arrive the same time as our salad it was cold. We ordered wings and had to flag a server down to ask for ranch, since apparently at Benchwarmers ranch or blue cheese are not included without asking. We also had to get some ones attention to refill our drinks whenever empty and to pay our bill. We were at Benchwarmers for a total of 90 min and the last 30 were eating our lunch then waiting 10 min to pay. Upsetting but seems to be the typical experience here... read more

1st and last time I will ever eat here. We were the only customers in the place and it took an hour to get our food. The waitress knew absolutely nothing about the menu and had to ask for anything we wanted. Ordered chicken tacos, after 40 min comes out and says they are out of chicken. We all get our food and my son's sandwich has not come. When I ask about it, "oh yea, it was made wrong. They are working on it." No thanks we have already been here for an hour, we are on a lunch break. The chicken salad (I guess they only had enough chicken for one meal) was bagged Romain with a couple tomatoes, and frozen chicken and cost $15! I had substituted a side salad instead of french fries and was charged $3.00. When we brought up some of the issues to waitress, she said, "oops, my bad." That was it. Only reason why this place gets one star is because the bar tender was really nice and it was his birthday. The food was grotesque. No seasoning and our wings were Raw. We're a proud hard working family so we didn't complain about it because we don't want business owner or employee to think we want a free meal. I had high hopes for this place but was a total let down. Planned on watching football all day with my kids and spending money but the best seats in the house are 21+ and families get what's left. The food is horrible!!! Teenage boys didn't even finish their burgers and wanted to leave after 30 min. Wings took 25 minutes and were nothing more than Frank's hot sauce on chicken. The staff was extraordinarily polite. They spent most of their time at our table apologizing for something and we're pretty low maintenance. I wanted to update since my last review. I came back the other night with a small group to watch a game. The atmosphere was still fun but the food was bad. We all ordered burgers and the waiter didn't ask us how we wanted them cooked. When they came out, they were all really pink in the middle. One of them was completely raw on the inside. We had to send it back to the kitchen and it took at least 20 minutes for a new one to come out. After we left, I realized that I lost my bracelet.
