The service was terrible. Our waitress was very unfriendly and seemed to be actively avoiding us. The food took forever to get to the table, and forget about a drink refill. They lost our order ( the waitress' words) my husbands food was cold and mine was incorrect. We never did get our appetizer. If I could give less than one star I would. read more

Been to his Applebee's twice so far, really good service. Me and my BF always get the 2 for $25, we both order the steak. The last time we went our server asked if we wanted "add ons" to our steak. While he didn't mention that they would cost extra, would have been nice to be well informed they cost more. But steak was good, both were cooked the way we like them. Rare for me and well done for my BF, I believe I go the raspberry sangria. I like sweet fruity drinks, that have a punch to it. This was amazing!!! I order it every time we go there. Anytime I go to Applebee's, which is pretty rare....I have to get the ribletts. Their ribbletts have been a part of Applebee's as long as I can remember. They were good, as usual. My biggest issue with this location is the smell. I don't know if they just recently went away from being a smoking restaurant or what the issue is, but my table smelled like cigarette smoke. It was horrible. They did have a sign posted on the door that was a hand done sign saying that it was a nonsmoking restaurant making me think that the switch to nonsmoking was recent. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could!! I've eaten at a lot of applebees and this on is the worse...omg. Where do I start, got the two for $25 6oz sirloin steak with cheese stick for appetizer. I know it's sirloin, but I've had shoe leather that was more tender then these steaks. Fired grilled veggies were barely grilled and cold...might as well chopped it up and put it on the plate. Cheese sticks were not even melted. Don't order loaded mashed potatoes you'll get charged for them but not loaded. Ordered my food to go right at the restaurant. Will never never eat at the applebees again....wow...horrible!!! read more

Had the Pepper Crusted Sirloin and a side Caesar salad. Ordered the steak medium rare, came out with no pink. Salad was not worth $3.99. Sat at the bar and felt very rushed. Ordered Jack Double Sirloin medium. One was medium well, but still tender. The other was cooked to order. The sides were very good. For a non-steakhouse, it was well worth the money. The place was packed, but the servers worked hard and dis a great job. If you want a high end steak, go to a steakhouse. If you have to eat within a budget/per diem, this is a good spot. read more

Well for starters this is probably the least attentive Applebee I've ever been. I went twice lunch and dinner just to be fair. Same both times. I sat at the bar. Bar was nasty and full of flies. Bar tender don't clean bar top for any bar goers. Spent more time on phone or greeting friends than paying attention to customers. Went in at 9pm for a late night happy hour on a Wednesday. Special was 1/2 off bottle of wine. Got a bottle for $8. Can't go wrong with that. Alexandria was our bartender. Very easy to talk with. We are visiting from CO, which she had visited before. This place was hopping! read more

Went to this Applebee's for dinner. We were sat quickly, but after that it went all downhill. We waited for about 20 minutes before the host came back and informed us that our waiter hasn't shown up for work yet. She came back again soon after and said she would take the order. When we finally got our food they brought the appetizers at the same time. They were cold. We asked for pickles and mustard for our burgers. After waiting for 25 more minutes, she never did return. I waved down a waiter from another table and they said she was gone and that she would grab our condiments. By the time we got our pickles and mustard, our burgers were cold. I asked for the manager and he apologized saying he would cover the cost of our cold uneaten food. We just left. Never going back to that Applebee's again. read more

We ate here on out way home from Medora and we loved it!! The waitress that took our order was a trainee and she did a spectacular job! Since there is not a good variety in Dickinson, Applebees is our go-to restaurant because they are more consistent with service and food, than any other restaurant in town. We travel a lot and this Applebees is decent, and always accomodating for our young children when we go as a family. We have gone there with a large group (about 12) and they put us in the bar where they have high tables and barstools... It was hard to sit at three round tables put together, and especially trying to accomodate children who needed booster seats or high chairs... Thats why they got 3 stars instead of 4. read more

They were not kidding when they said "It's good Mood Food" and I am all about the "Neighborhood" and "I'm Lovin It!" Applebees really hit the ball out of the park on this dinning experience WoooHoooo Me and my gal (had a date on this trip ;) ) started off with the Ultimate Trio (yeah i said it, the Ultimate TRIO) made me and my girl want to have a TRIO ;) anyway, we had the buffalo wings, the steak quesadilla towers (they were sky scrappers - a can't miss!) and the chicken wonton tacos (my Asian background lead me to this treat, and boy was i delighted with the authenticity - brought me back to my roots). For the main event, we decided to go with the 2 for $20 deal (not because i can't afford it, just a personal preference). I went after the Oriental Chicken Salad (again, because I'm Asian), wow wow wow, Tng ho baby (very good (baby) in Chinese). I couldn't get past the delectable crispy noodles = home run. My gal ordered the Crispy Orange Chicken (also Asian), "rearry good" she bellowed as she washed it down with a Sapporo, could have have been crispier, in my opinion, but great taste all a round - base hit. For drinks, we washed down our gullens with a Bahama Mama (for me - not Asian, but still good) (really sweet, great taste, complimented my Oriental Chicken Salad to perfection) and ma lady sipped on a refreshing but dangerous Mud Slide - "Check Please" that was like a dessert, but then we actually had dessert and called for the check at a later time. For Dessert, we cleansed our pallets with some dessert shooters. I went after the Strawberry Cheesecake Shooter, like a hawk for the depths of Morodor, buttercup went with the ever refreshing Chocolate Mousse Shooter. Both were fantastastical. What a way to end such a great dining experience in Dickinson. After we left, we returned to our living quarters where we soaked in the tub and Yelped this review. If I could give a negative review I would. We ate at Applebee's in Tennessee and Florida and everything was great but this location is probably the absolute worst place I've ever eaten at. The servers never even bother to come to your table, so good luck placing an order. After you manage to wait forever for your food it comes out cold or scalding hot -no in between -and if you start choking on it good luck trying to use your drink to wash it all down. No refills on those either. The management are a bunch of kids and are extremely unprofessional. They tell customers about their abortions and drug use and take home customers from the bar after closing and talk about other customers. Very very bad. I reported this behavior to their corporate office, but unfortunately the fix for these complaints is to have the managers in question call you to fix things. Yeah right. Applebee's I know it's hard to get good help in this area but just giving up is worse. read more

Had dinner with family and quite disappointed. My meal was requested to have no oriental dressing as i have a dairy allergy and Chile lime dressing on side. The salad came out 10 mins after most of the other meals and it was wrong - with dressing on it. I asked for it to be redone and it came out with no teriyaki on the chicken (which I never said I didn't want) so I had to request that. My brothers meal was not brought out until 20 mins after everyone else's! My daughter asked for no onion on her career chicken and she only got one tomato slice. No dishes were ever cleared from our tables. We were never asked if we wanted a manager to come over and nothing was comp' d on our bill. Very sad to see this poor of a level of service. read more

We were a little weary after finding so many bad locations here in Dickinson ND. It seems like there is never any good service and the food is normally right there with it...better to be avoided. We were pleasantly surprised when we broke down and stopped in at Applebee's because of a long road trip and we were almost home. In our mix of desperation we got our food to go since we didn't want to run into the bad service we had experienced everywhere else. We ordered the american standard & triple bacon burger and the smells instantly got us curious of the soon to experience taste. Arriving home we quickly took our togo boxes out and as the lids flipped open our senses were greeted with a juicy delicious looking burger and still crispy fries that survived the short ride home. Biting into the burgers our visual senses matched the wonderment of taste buds adventure we just entered into. Applebee's in Dickinson is actually doing a really good job with their food. We were impressed and will be returning each time we crave for a hamburger. This one is on the recommended list. read more

Server was nice but I was not visiting socially. Steak 9 oz sirloin was seasoned with this terrible tenderizer and extremely salty. Not prepared well at all almost tasted broiled and grill marks added as a finish. 30 minutes later and I still have a weird after taste. Will not go back, just thought I would give Applebee's once again another chance. After all I needed to give the sushi a break from across the street. 3 days in a row would have been a bit much. I have been in 47 states and have ate in applebee's in many of them. In Dickinson I find their food and service excellent. Their Bourbon Chicken is my favorite. They have great waitress's and they have two bartenders Alex and Heather that are exceptional at their job. I would recommend eating there if you are ever visiting Dickinson ND.
