I wouldn't even give it a 1. We went there for my husbands birthday and it was horrible. The drinks stunk and the food was salty. I had to come home and make something to eat. I ordered take-out last night from Applebees and two of the orders contained a half rack of ribs. The sauce on both of them was burned. This is not the first instance I have encountered with the sauce being burned. How many orders of ribs must you grill before you realize the sugar in the BBQ sauce will burn very quickly. I rarely go to Applebees anymore because of this, but we needed something quick from a takout place. PLEASE grillers get your act together. The ribs themselves are very good, but burned sauce is not. I do want to give a great big "Job well done" to the girl who was working inside getting the takeout orders ready. Her name was AMY and she was doing a fantastic job. We dod the 2 for $20 curbside service. We ordered the Citrus lime sirloin and Three Cheese Chicken penne pasta w spinach artichoke dip. This meal was really a disaster right from the beginning, the chips had so much salt on them we basically couldn't eat them the dip was fine. The steak was meant to be medium and was cooked like a hockey puck and had so much salty sauce on it it was mostly inedible. The pasta is nothing to write home about basically white penne pasta with a fettuccine sauce and three small pieces of chicken and a couple little pieces of tomato with a breadstick. We definitely won't eat here again it was just really really disappointing even for under 20 bucks. read more

On December 7, 2019 the restaurant was half empty and we were seated right away. After an hour and a half of waiting for our food, we finally decided to leave because we still hadn't received our food. The people next to us waited 2 hours and when they finally received their food it was cold. I had an 8 and 9 year old. They were starving. Worst of all, they made us pay full price for all the food we never received. Never going back. I've never written a review before. I'm 41 and I've had plenty of bad experiences in restaurants but this was over the top. Twice prior in the past two weeks I went when it was half full and waited an hour for cold food. So apparently this is the norm for them. I try to give a place a chance even if I have a bad experience but 3 times in a row is a trend. Never again. read more

It's no secret that Applebee's food is primarily microwaved, over priced, and mediocre to its core. With that understanding, this particular location somehow tops the typical disappointments than any other location I've been dragged to. If the confirmation that you have a bland palate and deserve very little enjoyment and care in your food in exchange for your money is what you're setting out to do, then advertise that you enjoy this place. You can't blame the kids just trying to have their first or second job to get experience for a place run horribly like this. You have to look for the adults that somehow can't figure out how to run the simplest cookie cutter version of a "restaurant" that merely involves pushing buttons and adhering to a minimum standard of frozen food. Last 4 visits were not pleasant. Specifically asked for a simple side of queso for our salsa and chips and was charged $7.99. On bill it was listed as artichoke dip and when I told them we didn't order artichoke dip that is when we were informed that it was actually the charge for the side of queso I was shocked. I should have been informed of the charge up front! I informed waitress & manager that I have ordered a side of queso before and that it came in the same little salsa container and was never charged $7.99. The manager made me feel as though I was lying as she said "oh no it never comes like that." Well sorry to say it did!! We waited over an hour for our food and after seeing that people who came in after us had received their food, we said something to the waitress. She went back to check again and said that there was an issue with all chicken orders. We waited and saw a chicken fajita and a salad with chicken be delivered to tables that had come in after us. Finally the manager came out and told us they are behind and that everyone is waiting that long. We told her no, other tables that came in after us got their food. Then she said that they had to turn off the computer for the to go orders. They are a restaurant next to a hotel on a weekend where most kids and adults have the Monday off. Plus there were empty tables. None of our food was complicated. Something is seriously wrong with the kitchen. They did comp our meal which was nice, but my elderly parents cannot wait that long to eat. Upon entering the establishment at 11pm on a Saturday night we were nervous due to the previous Yelp reviews. After being seated, our waitress swiftly brought us silverware and drinks. While waiting for our appetizers, we were disturbed to hear a screech form behind the bar area. Unsure if it was a guest, employee, or piece of equipment. One of the group members ordered a bahama mama and was pleasantly surprised with the added touch of the fresh cherry. The fresh fruit garnishes were a refreshing touch. Following the drinks, we got our appetizers fairly quickly.Appetizers were good and the pretzels were a group favorite! The chicken tenders were good, fries blow average due to them being cold and soggy. However, the three cheese chicken penne had the most rubbery chicken I've ever tasted. Also there was a mystery meat that was pinkish in color that was off putting. The chicken had my stomach immediately in shambles. Bonus there's a lovely towel rack on the restroom exit doors. Overall, decent experience probably would return without ordering the penne pasta. read more

I understand food taking awhile due to volume but two of our four orders were wrong and the waitress was very short with my 13 yr old daughter while she was ordering. I understand it was new years eve but a 2 hour wait for cold food, and missing food items was completely ridiculous! Not once did the waiter check in nor did the manager. I dont think the excuse of "It was busy" they could have added more waiters/waitresses but no, they had a total of what looked like 5 waiters for a full restaurant. I would have given no stars but Yelp wouldn't put through the post unless there was a star rating. Should have been no stars. The only good thing was my rum and coke. Our waitress was rather inattentive and we had to wait on her several times. My husband's salad was not made properly. I asked for no tomato and even though he said he wanted tomato he didn't get any. He ordered an 8oz steak and I ordered a rack of ribs. His steak was very small and very well done and his food was barely warm. My ribs were so overcooked they reminded me of the Turkey on National Lampoon Christmas vacation; all bone and no meat. Plus I never received my baked potato. I refused to eat my meal and sent it back at which time the manager came over. He did comp both our meals but I will never go there again. We visited this location on 11/9/2019. We stay about once a month at the Hampton Hotel next store. When we got there bar was packed so we sat at a table . We had 4 apps and 3 watered down drinks. We spoke to waitress told her we walk over from hotel for a few drinks. Bar cleared out we paid bill and decided to have 1 more drink before walking back to the hotel. Waitress came running over and told us we already had 3 drinks and we needed to be interviewed by manager before we had 1 more. Also told bartender in front of other customers this. We r not young kids, we are 57 and 61 years old . We sat there for 15 minutes and no one came over to interview us what every that means. This was very embarrassing to us and uncalled for. read more

This Applebees has given me bad food for the last time, and It has ruined the restaurant chain permanently for me. I order this blackened chicken and shrimp and it came out completely burnt and inedible, and the waitress didn't seem to care. Speaking of service, where is it? The food is okay if it is prepared correctly, which I recommend not getting the chicken or steak. Last few times I got chicken, I had to send it back for being not cooked the whole way through. The steak is usually not cooked like I prefer, which is well done. I either get medium or charred. The management staff is friendly and very accommodating. Several waitresses, including Crystal and Cortney, go out of their way to make sure you are happy and well taken care of. I recommend if you go there, you ask for one of those two specifically. read more

I love this restaurant so much, we used to come there so often that the waiters would recognize us. Their staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and service is good. I have no idea why it is rated less than 3 stars, but I would definitely recommend this restaurant! My favorite appetizer is the wonton tacos, favorite meal is the fiesta lime chicken (it is seriously irresistible), and favorite dessert is the one chocolate cake with the hot fudge in the middle, I do not recall what it was called. I used to like applebees because of quick service, decent food, and reasonable prices. but now the new menu moved many items from the 10 buck range, changed a few names, then moved them into the 14-15 buck range. Plus they took away the steak salad, one of my wife's faves. Never liked the booths - you sink into those cushions like the titanic, so when you order the 20 oz beer in the tall glass, the top of the glass is practically eye level - and i'm a big guy. I felt bad for the waiters they all had to explain wether or not it would be free and "sorry but ur food is going to take a little while longer." I am not a huge fan of Applebee's to begin with, however, I decided to go here on Saturday night just because I had nothing better to do. When I got there, there was a 20 minute wait, which is normal. When we were seated, we were not even helped for a solid 15 minutes. Then finally a young man came over named Steven and he took our drink order and we immediately put in our appetizer and food order. Steven was nice and put that all in then shortly returned with our drinks. About 20 mins later, our first appetizer came out (wonton tacos which were very good actually) and then another 25 minutes went by and we still hadn't received our second appetizer (loaded potato soup). Just as my husband and I were discussing where our second appetizer went, Steven brings it over with both of our entree orders and says "sorry I was busy talking in a conversation with my coworker I forgot to put the soup in." Ok...so are you going to offer to take it off our check or expect a good tip? So my husband and I finished our meals and were sitting there waiting with empty plates for another 20 minutes waiting for Steven to return thinking he got caught up in another conversation again. Then when he took our plates we got the check and he took another 10 mins to process the check.....Jesus I've had better service at Denny's and that place doesn't even exist anymore. Other Applebee's have been good to me but this one let me down. I ordered the brunch burger and had high hopes. The bread was completely dried out and crumbling as I ate it. The hash brown was also dried out. To top it off the entire burger was cold. They also forgot my wife's lettuce and tomato. For the price range I expected much better quality. We have always been disappointed in this Applebees . My husband has refused to go back anymore.The service is always slow, the burgers are always over- done no matter how you order them. Well my husband was working late so I decided to do curbside pick up since I wanted a hot meal. I do not think that I swallowed one bite of steak. Excellent! Our waitress, Denette, was the best waitress I have ever had. She was friendly, knowledgeable and on top of everything. She greeted us and asked if anyone had a special occasion today or celebration. She asked every table that as well. My 5 year old asked her for bacon while eating his meal. I said to him they can't just bring you bacon. Not only did she bring it right away, no charge. Our burgers were cooked just right and delicious. Awesome time. read more

I've been to this Applebee's dozens of times and I haven't had any complaints as of yet. All the servers are very friendly, the orders are always brought in a timely fashion. I would recommend going to this Applebee's if you enjoy friendly servers who like to get to know their customers and make sure you leave satisfied.
