Bar

Traveled for business and ate here. There seems to be a lot of regular locals that eat here nightly but was able to get a seat at the bar. Decent bar food and great beer selection. It's a short walk from the Holiday Inn hotel so it was convenient.

Moon Ranch Chicken Sandwich on a pretzel roll.

Great service and food. Kelsey waited on us and was excellent. We were seated and served drinks quickly. Tried the Moon Ranch Chicken on a pretzel roll - delicious. Prices reasonable and bar is a fun spot.

What a big plate, Smoked Brisket Meatloaf Dinner. I couldn't finish it all. Great taste and price.

Me and my colleague stopped by here the other day and had a great time. Big man Jordan was our server and he made it a great experience. We gave him shit and he dished it back. The food was great and so was the service However, I stopped by again before I left town and although everyone was nice when I walked in, the service from my waitress was horrible, I almost walked out after she walked away when I was trying to order something. It was like I was inconveniencing her by wanting to eat here. She had the hatefulness in her tone and I should have left but I was hungry. I ordered a beer and although was ready to order she walked away before I could stop her. By the looks of it she was pregnant but it didn't stop her from helping others at the bar. She must have known them but every time I tried to get her attention she gave me the FU look. The previous night we had at least 6 large beers and water between the two of us for the meal but I was barely able to get a glass of water when my meal came. She often sat at the table in the front and only once asked me how the meal was, and that was when I was almost finished. She asked if I wanted another beer but at this time I was ready to leave. She eventually brought my bill but dropped it on the table and walked away. Never said anything nice or inviting to return. I paid the bill but gave her a $2.00 tip. I should have kept it and gave it to the others but that's not my style. I would have given this place a much higher rating based on the great time with Jordan but it only takes one person to ruin the experience. I travel all over and when service sucks then it all sucks.

We stopped here to try the wings as recommended by positive reviews from google and friends that were very happy with the quality of food. The chipotle blue cheese wings were the best I have ever tasted. I never tasted an amazing wing sauce like that before. The wings were drenched in sauce and somehow still crispy. They were excellent. My fiancé had the cheesy bacon fries. The friends were incredible and the best she has had in a very long time. Shoe string fries were the game changer for her. The bar was packed and service was very quick and excellent. Oh and the death sauce wings gave me the meat sweats about the 3rd wing in

Checked the reviews and decided to make a stop here for lunch. They had a few great specials for happy hours available on food and drinks. Waitress was fun and attentive. Place was busy which was a good sign. Ordered chicken sandwich, nachos, and a few other items. Food was not bad. Street parking was available. Seated immediately.

Nice bar with lots of seating and TVs!

Delicious MoMo Mango Salmon! Salmon cooked well with the yummy sweet topping. The Mac and cheese was excellent! Friendly staff and nice local place to have drinks and dinner while watching your favorite sporting event!

The building is in the old Vanity Fair complex, so it has high ceilings and plenty of parking spaces. They have a nice size bar, but we sat at a table inside. There was live music outside on the patio, but we only realized it when we left. The brunch menu had a selection of offerings, including mimosas and yummy chicken and waffles! The regular menu with appetizers and sandwiches was still available too. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Nice beer selection and mixed drinks too! Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Throw in some TVs, a big U-shape bar for maximum area, thus making it my favorite bar shape. Have you ever been standing in one of those straight-line bars, and you're about three layers of people away from even sniffing the bar. It's claustrophobic, it creates a needless bottleneck, it feels like you're about to be crushed. Not here. It's open with super high ceilings. You can go outside and play cornhole in the crisp fall air. The whole place is easily accessible either by using the parking lot out front or the even bigger parking lot in the rear. I think there is some sort of hidden ballroom downstairs for private events. Every now and then you see a whole wedding procession just casually stroll on through. I guess it's the hot destination, which makes total sense when you take a step back and can see Sly Fox for what it truly is, which is your cookie cutter craft brewery bar experience you've seen countless times up and down the eastern seaboard. I gotta give it to them, Sly Fox was one of the few breweries to break through to kind of the ultimate level. To the point where it goes well beyond just having your beer appear in local bar taps, but to be the establishment itself, and in this case, a successful chain of them. With its headquarters in Pottstown, it's always nice to see success stories like these with local roots. I will look back and think fondly of these days before it becomes a giant evil mega corporation snuffing the life out of smaller startup breweries like it once was by the dozen. Until then, might as well enjoy the ride.

Sports bar- Eagles vibe w/ a decent draft list. The kegs weren't working (seems to happen at every bar we attend these days) but still enjoyed a Mike & Merrill Philly Hazy IPA. Wings a good size, crisp, you know, the way wings used to be before everyone started charging an arm & a leg & serving broken pigeon wings. Classic "Buffalo" sauce & blue cheese dressing were good. FINALLY tried famous Caramel Burger (which I missed several times at the Hamburger festival). It did not disappoint. Good size, flavorful patty, & what these people do best- the bacon jam & caramelized bacon. The sweetness of the onions sings thru. Order it! Husband ordered seasonal special Frikadellen/Bratwurst Smash Burger. Skipping right to it- the cottage fries. (Gracie's/Louie's if you had this all the time we'd have no beef! LOL) INCREDIBLE! Crisp, thin, tender, amazing. If you follow me you know I am over the frozen fries served at every eatery in this country. Finally, amazingly pleasant, genuinely happy, server- Reese. She was on my side throughout this whole foodie journey, even the beer & burger mishap (initially burger served w/o cheese sauce). She's a keeper! We'll be back & will spread the word! Till then, stay on your toes! Thank you Louie's for a great meal.

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this small restaurant / sports bar is…read morethat was attached to Suburban Bowlerama, on Queen Street, in York, Pa. Wife, daughter and myself first had three games in the alley, which went by at good time for three games. But the real treat was when some of the customers exited this little eatery as we bowled, we couldn't help but smell the food being served just behind us on the furthest end of the alleys. When we came inside, Michelle had greeted us pleasantly, and asked if I needed a chair moved as I was in a wheelchair, but the tables were perfect height and had no trouble at all getting a place to eat. ^^ A few other people were dotted around different seats as multiple TVs played various sports, as we started looking on the menus of what was making our mouths water. My daughter ordered the Nashville Hot Shrimp, Wife had the chilli, and decided to get a small speciality pizza, Ham with fig sauce ... ?... I decided to get a bowl of the creame of crab soup and sweet tea. Food took a small while to make, but when it came out, it was AMAZING. The soup was in a wide styled bowl with crackers, and no lie. It was perfect. Then my wife had started on her chilli, and she said it was exactly how her mom used to make it from North Carolina, it was THAT Good. Daughter had started on her hot shrimp and was happily bouncing in her seat as she loved the heat and the taste. Then when me and wife got done with the bowls of OMG Goodness, then she offered me a piece of her pizza, and I tell you, I NEVER Had such an outstanding combination on a pizza before as I had here. It was a white flat bread pizza, and the ham was perfect with crisp edges, but the best part was the sweet fig sauce. It was perfectly balanced with the salty meat and the sweet drizzled sauce on top. Michelle came by and asked how we were doing, and she just smiled as we told her how good the food was. She had let us know the menu was changing, and thanked us for letting her know what we liked, hopefully they will keep our choices on those menus, as they will be choices we will definitely order again, the next time we head there for bowling. So please, when you get food there at Alley Oops, tell Michelle how good your choices they are, and see when they change the menu, they keep the choices on. I couldn't recommend this food eatery place highly enough, as seeing how excellent the food is, and Michelle's pleasant personality made the day for us. We WILL be back again... ^^ Cheers and God Bless... Deaf Gryphon ^^
