Their bartenders. Drinks are not properly filled. They reuse dirty glasses when serving second drinks and leave the old used/dirty citrus still left floating in the glass when reserved. I had a doctor request lunch from this restaurant. Let's just say time management is not this restaurant's strong point. I place my order at 11am. I was originally told my order would be ready at 11:49am and I politely asked if they could please get it ready any earlier, to which I was told yes and that they would have it ready at 11:29am. I didn't get my order until 11:53am which makes the food late by 24 minutes and now I am LATE for my lunch meeting. These people don't care nor do they even apologize. You get what you get and that's all you get. Where is the sense of pride? Really, it took one hour to get 5 entrees together when there are only two tables occupied in the restaurant and they are already eating! When the bartender brought me my food, I asked if there was cutlery included, and she said that she had put some in there which clearly she had not because all three bags were totally empty. So more time was added because she had to go into the back and get the cutlery. So if you're looking for a restaurant that has attention to detail and good time management, you would be better off going to Sheetz and getting your lunch there because this certainly is not a place that can be held accountable for getting your food ready on time. read more

Don't go there. That was by a wide margin the worst meal ever. I took my daughter and my family there for her birthday. We ordered 2 steaks, soup, and a burger The burger was dry and overdone to the point of crumble. The medium steak was well done. The rare steak was medium well. The rest of the food was both so ver cooked and cold which is astounding. My daughters soup had soggy croutons at the bottom. Took almost an hour to get our food. When they offered to comp one steak, the double charged us for the other one trying to be slick. Not only can they not cook but they will try to rip you off. This place should be demolished and have the earth beneath it salted so nothing will ever grow there. I always order a steak and every time it's never cooked right. My boyfriend got the chicken tenders and the Mac and cheese which was anything but Mac and cheese. Went here with my girlfriend after church one day and I still to this day regret that decision. We ordered car side carry out and were told it would take 30-45 minted which we had no problem with. After an hour she went inside to ask what was taking so long while I stayed in the car. When she finally spoke to someone, they told her that our food had accidentally been given to the wrong customer. Having worked in food myself, I get that sometimes mistakes happen and to their credit the manager did offer her a partial refund for the mistake. After that she came back out to the car and the car side waitress told us it would be about 20 minutes. 20 minutes passed and nothing happened. 25 minutes passed and the same waitress came out to tell us it would only be another 15 minutes. Another 20 minutes later our food finally came out. However, we had not been partially refunded as the manger said, the waitress instead gave us a gift card stating that since we had paid in card she couldn't discount us. Again, having worked in food I know this was a lie. If I had to guess, she was just too lazy to do it even though all she was doing was making excuses about being the only one working car side even though we saw multiple waiters and waitresses assisting her. I had half a mind to go back in and demand to see the manager to get the refund that was promised but was persuaded out of it. We still have that gift card months later and if it gets used it won't be at this Applebee's. read more

I have enjoyed going to Applebee's in the past. But this visit was one of the worst dining experiences that I have encountered. We were seated right away and our server came over to get our drink orders followed by food orders. We then waited about 45 mins for our food to come out and the restaurant was not busy at all. When our food came out, everyone's food was correct except my burger. I ordered it well done and it came out medium. I returned it and waited an additional 20 minutes for my burger. By this time everyone else is done. The manager just dropped the burger off and walked off. We then get to splitting the checks. We had already told the server at the beginning that it would be split 2 ways. He came out with the checks and all of the items were mixed up between the two checks. We even had to ask to get the burger remover from the check. About 10 minutes later, he came back with our corrected checks. The server stated multiple times during our visit that he could not find the manager to help him and the manager was hiding. For an establishment to operate like this is ridiculous. I am appalled that we had a visit like this and the manager did not seem to care about the guests/customers that are in his establishment. I will never be going to an Applebee's again. read more

I had come here with a friend 2 times before the covid-19 debacle and now one after. The two times prior we were greatly impressed with the friendly service and exceptional food prep and taste! Each time we talked about how good it was in all things food and service. Now, with some concern after the dining room reopening, we were hopeful that coming back would not have issues. First, the welcoming smiles and helpfulness of each staff person set the tone. Ashley was our server and she was as sweet as could be. She listened and responded in such a positive way that we both relaxed of any earlier concerns; and this before any food arrived! Secondly, the food was outstanding! We started with French Onion Soup which was delicious. For entrees, I had the Whiskey Burger which was tasty and large; I Loved it! My friend had Double Crunch Shrimp and was just over the top at how good it was. Both of us were also impressed with the crunchy flavorful fries. My mom and I went in for lunch today. We had a buy one get one free lunch combo coupon issued by Applebee's for my mom's work. The restaurant had a few tables but not even half full. It took a few minutes to get seated and then another 15 to be greeted by our waiter. After another 10 or so, he finally came back with the water and took our order. We had shown him our coupon and he said he would need to check with the manager to see if they would honor it (he told us they would). 45 minutes later, we finally got our lunch combos. The Oriental chicken salads had way too much dressing and the fries with my chicken tenders were drenched in honey pepper sauce. We asked for the bill our waiter because he needed the coupon. At least a half hour later, we still had no bill and the waiter was with the manager and a waitress at the computer near the bar. Since they didn't come over, my mom went over to ask if we could get our check. The waiter pulled an attitude and said the manager was working on it. We waited another 10 minutes...nothing. Looking at the terminal on the table, it said 0 with the entire bill of $17 being backed out. I took $10 cash over to the waiter (who was still at the computer with the manager and was in facebook on his phone) and just said that it would cover the bill and we were leaving. The waiter came out to the car and asked if we were skipping out on the meal. He said that the managee was trying to figure out the coupon but that they shouldnt be taking them. I told him that would pay for half and were leaving. We asked to have the manager come out and he said he wouldn't so I went back in. The manager wasn't there and I told the waitress with our waiter that the screen at our table said $0 and since they couldn't give us a bill, that's all we owed. My burger was overcooked after stating I had wanted some pink in It and just didn't have the real kick of flavor I'm used to from this chain. It was busy when we first got there, but then by the time we got our food it had thinned out a lot. I noticed the entire time we were there the manager going around apologizing over and over because I guess they had been screwing up a lot of orders.
