I have stopped in a few times for a frozen drink and they are always great. The holidays are here and i stopped in again to get my frozen cocktail. I cant get it because the blenders are broken! Several people have ordered frozen drinks but the bartender sadly say's "Sorry the blenders are broke." WOW! Why wouldn't a general manager make sure those are available? If I was overseeing a chain restaurant, I would make sure everything was available to serve customers what they want. Now I'm kind of bias because I love Applebees, this location by far is my favorite! They are so fast to get you seated, your food comes out so quickly and they have the absolute best staff! Super talkative and friendly and they really give you their opinions on the menu! I came in with my best friend, we were so starved, we ordered boneless wings, mozzarella sticks, a side of fries, two orders of beer cheese and pretzels, and the fairly new taco nachos. (We were so hungry) The boneless wings are always a must, so good, all white meat, juicy and full of flavor. The mozzarella sticks are to die for, talk about cheese pull, omg!! Fries are full of seasoning and crispy!! The new taco nacho dip omg! I will never look at nachos the same ! Seriously delicious, this is my go to place! Worst most mediocre food I think I've ever had anywhere. Ordered regular cheeseburger and fries. Fries were cold, there was a hair in my burger, they did comp that meal, my Pepsi with NO ice was watered down. The room was pretty cold and the service wasn't really that friendly. Didn't come by and ask if we needed refills. I understand that the service industry doesn't pay well, which isn't my fault, however if you'd like a large tip try being friendly, smile, check on things preferably when there's no food in my mouth. Got my order and got home and realized the we only got 20 free wings, and was missing ribs and broccoli for my son's dinner (we got one side only, a mashed potato). Called 12 times and no one answered! Finally drive to the restaurant and talked to someone. Was told that they were out of ribs!!!! Would have been nice if they had told me this earlier! Asked them for cheeseburger instead! Got home and realized they still only gave me 10 additional wings, instead of 20!! They tried to offer me a $20 gift card in place of the ribs. No thank you! Was pleasantly greeted at the front door and sat down immediately in a place closer to the door, as I was waiting for another. Sheri was a phenomenal waitress! Was around for drink order in seconds. Very attentive without being over bearing. Drinks never emptied. Empty dishes taken away as they were made. All in all, the best visit to an Applebee's that I can recall. Well, a national chain should at least be satisfactory. Applebee's on Gull Road failed to hit that mark. It is hard to mess up a salad; but, they sure messed up my shrimp stir fry! It was greasier than a Quick lube floor and the shrimp was undercooked. Our onion rings were over breaded, jammed together, and were quite unimpressive. The service was mediocre at best. We got the proverbial "how is it" before we even took a bite and never saw the server again. When the server brought the check, she didn't even ask why there was a full plate of stir fry sitting there or even ask if I wanted it boxed. I usually get take out salads here without a problem. Guess I continue the cash and go strategy. I will definitely have second thoughts about dining in and adventuring beyond the salad menu! I would not be able to recommend this location to anyone. read more

This place needs a management upgrade. SUPER SLOW service, poor communication and food left out of the order. The bar was out of Bells Two Hearted and it took them an hour to communicate that back to the table and make a substitution. The really disheartening part about that was, food was being delivered at lightning speed to pick up orders but in-house table service was pathetic. I have been to this Applebee's many times in the past and something serious has gone wrong. The manager needs to understand how to handle situations like this. APPEARANCE: This Applebees was very clean from what I can see. WAITRESS: My waitress was very attentive, pleasant as was well tipped. FOOD: I really only go there to get appetizers. The other food is boring and expensive for what you get. I can get more food from the half of apps or from the sampler. I did try the special where you choose the main dish and your side dishes. I got the grilled chicken. They served one piece of mediocre chicken for 9.99. Other places do at least 2 pieces. Not Cool Applebees. OTHER: Applebee's needs to do some events, like Karaoke or poker night. If they did an event similar to that, I would bring all my friends. read more

Food was great! Even tried the $1.00 zombie drink and it was good! But the waiter was not the best. He was friendly but wasnt very attentive to us. It took 15 minutes after he brought us or check to get the card. The whole time he was just standing behind the bar talking to other employees. Will go back but was a bit dissatisfied with the service he provided. Also they mixed up my boyfriends rare steak with our friends medium well steak. Was very surprised at that.
