Our local restaurant on Nellis is always short staffed. Waiting for tables is long but there's a lot of empty tables?? The business is there, restaurant is always busy. If this is a franchise then the owner needs to get involved and hire staff for all positions ( bar, kitchen, wait staff) and everyone will be happy....employees and customers. This isn't just a 1 time thing but ongoing. Tonight was slow service and drinks just had no pizzazz ( margaritas and Pina colada) 4 people $100 bill. We like apple bees just hire staff read more

I visited on Saturday. It wasn't super busy or slow at the time...just seemed like people were mostly coming in around 4:30pm. I was quickly shown some seating and ended up perusing the menus--food, drink, and happy hour. I ordered the option to choose 3 appetizers and get 3 sauces. I also opted for the G Thang cocktail (made with Still Gin). The cocktail was made almost immediately and is a good balance of sweet and tart. It had a nice purple color and paired nicely with the Still Gin bottle. I was impressed with the flavors and commended the bartender on this cocktail and how it was crafted. The food, on the other hand, was brought out by other staff members. The food came out pretty quickly and looked delicious. The chicken quesadilla was pretty solid and the chicken wonton tacos were pretty crunchy and tasty. The only issue I had was with the boneless chicken wings. They looked ok but didn't seem like they were freshly made or even all that hot. They looked ok but almost looked like they had been leftover from a few hours ago. They still were fairly tender for chicken wings and also somewhat flavorful. The flavors were there, just didn't think these had been freshly made. The staff was pretty attentive and alll in all, not bad. Just not sure if I would try my luck again at this spot. read more

Froze my butt off the whole time I was eating and everything was overly salted. Desserts were over priced. Wasn't a great bday dinner

We weren't provided utensils with our food and when we asked for them the server took her time getting them while our food sat on the table. She carried all customers' water glasses between her armpits instead of using a tray. The manager doesn't seem to care about the lack of professionalism that goes on. The only good thing here is the host person that sat us. He was great but I can't mention his name because no one here wears a name tag. They got my order completely wrong and when I told the server she wasn't trying to hear it. Applebees should care more about their establishments. This is unacceptable. read more

This woman is elegance, fire, and a splash of danger in human form. She glided through the restaurant like she owned not only the floor--but my heart. Her energy? Immaculate. Her confidence? Sizzling. I didn't know Applebee's could have this much flavor outside the menu. The ambiance? Think candlelit fantasy meets sports bar chic. It's giving romance novel set in suburbia. Dry salty boneless garlic, Parmesan appetizer wings. Halloween Spooky drinks were very watered down. Had to tell the bartender to remake them. I occasionally stop by this location on the way to work. I usually sit in the bar area Sarah is the best part of eating at this Applebees. She's almost always the busiest person in the restaurant but has a great attitude. When I order food it's always been prepared well, I'd give it all 5 stars. I've noticed that there are many regular patrons that are there for Sarah. They should call the place "Sarah's ". Lol. read more

I never write reviews, but I feel like my experience with the food I paid for a couple of days ago deserves one :( I grew up coming to this location, but just in the past year I started going to different locations because the food elsewhere tasted better. 2 days ago I decided to give this location another chance, but it turned out to be the worst food I have ever been served. I ordered the Bourbon street chicken & sausage penne pasta and the chicken tasted weird and was so rubbery I actually could not chew threw it. I ate a little bit of the pasta and sauce because it tasted good, but after I tried the chicken, I couldn't even stomach the thought of eating more. Unfortunately, I felt bad about saying anything because our waitress was great, I just paid for the food & gave a small tip for the customer service. The general manager was doing a walk around and checking on customers, but I think they need more management focus on their kitchen staff, not the FOH staff :( Don't eat at this location, unless you plan on having a drink or 2 before eating your entre, because it is never as good as other locations smh read more

We had to ask for silverware and extra napkins, because they weren't given to us when we were seated. Yes it is an Applebee's, you will find them all over. But the reason I wanted to review this location is because of the amazing service and food quality. Within the parameters of it being again an Applebee's. The ambience is the same you will find everywhere. But they were so kind from the moment I walked in. I hurt my back and needed a booth because the high tops are not great for a bad back. They immediately cleared off a booth for me. I was looked after constantly. Props to the servers and bartenders. They all have a positive atmosphere and that speaks volumes in the service industry. read more

I've eaten at various Applebees's over the years and the Nellis location's food was absolutely the worst. We ordered the 2 for $25 meal which included the grilled cheeseburger with fries and chicken fettuccine. Our appetizer was the bbq boneless wings which were good but nothing special. They tasted like store bought wings and nothing special! The cheeseburger was on sour dough bread and actually pretty good. The fries were cold and hard. They obviously were sitting around for a while and under a lamp! The chicken was okay but lacked enough sauce for it to be good. The fettuccine was bone dry and tasteless. The chef should have known better than to serve any kind of food this way. The waitress was bored to tears and it was obvious that she didn't want to be at work. She did come back several times to fill our water but she didn't do a friendly job of it. Overall a poor experience for the Applebees chain. read more
