I'm sure it may get busy but I think Ichabod's has a lot to offer if you're looking for some old school charm. I've been going to Ichabod's for years mostly lunch. First time going for dinner and listen to Andrew. I made reservations for 7 for 3 of us. We were seated immediately, we waited for 20 minutes before à waiter came by to say he would be right with us. Waited another 10 minutes ordered our drinks and food. Another 15 minutes for our drinks, dinner came in a timely manner, was very good. The place was busy on a Saturday night and only one waiter for the entire Lounge area was ridiculous. If we ever go again we will sit at the bar. read more

New to the area, my son and I have been checking out some of the local older restaurants in our neighborhood. Ichabod's has been around since the 80's. Separate bar and restaurant with no smoking in the restaurant makes for a more comfortable eating experience. Ordered some wraps on their menu and really enjoyed the 2 kinds we had. Come here if ya want to see a bartender in a cowboy hat stare @ his phone for 25 minutes straight with his back to you and ignore his customers! After he poured my initial drink he didn't check on me nor speak to me, when he was done being buried in his phone he went to, what I assume was a regular, and talked to her for 15 minutes ignoring the other 6 people sitting on his side of the bar! I would give 5 if that cow boy guy wasn't here but let me start with the only reason I'm giving any mind to post at all positive is because of Annabelle she is the one of most amazing and on-top of it bartender Iv had an opportunity to meet and consistently brings myself along with multiple friends to this place and the chef at night is unmatched 10 out of 10 service from both of them. Being a big gambler it's important to love your home bar and I'm grateful to have given it a second chance because the cowboy guy is not only extremely rude but also treats me like I'm an idiot and talks at /down to me . However when ever a male is with me he's extremely polite and kind, to the point that he has ignored my drink order multiple times and acted as if I weren't there. Being the one that chooses how the bill is handled and where we go. (Keep in mind I've bartended for 10 years on and off in multiple different scenes and states) I know that tips really make an impact and I didn't even want to tip 20% let alone 10 and that really hurt my soul to feel that way. I hope he revives retraining and learns to do better in a service environment. read more

So apparently, this place has been around for years. I've been here before. I totally forgot about it. I was looking to get a reasonable price steak or prime rib hit the jackpot. The place is beautiful inside decor like old Vegas. They have a cabana outside very clean one side is a restaurant. The other side is gambling live music Drinking. They have nightly specials 13 ounce prime rib for only $33 oh my God let me tell you it was delicious came with the salad salad was average. Nothing spectacular the meat beautifully season super tender melting your mouth baked potato delicious evenly cooked the vegetables al dente amazing seasoning . Service was great. They have a lot of Help not overcrowded, beautiful tables and chairs. Our server, Hugo took good care of us. Decided to have dinner here and see "Andrew The Sinatra Guy" performance. We made reservations in advance which we recommend. If you want to clearly see the stage and performance be sure to ask for a table or both closest to stage. Our server, Robert, was friendly and attentive. The menu selection is very good and they offer about 5 daily specials you can view daily on their website. We ordered the Terra-Mare and Salmon which both were good and tried the Key Lime Pie for dessert. The inside atmosphere is very nice and the performance we saw from 630-10pm was fun and entertaining. They have a nice size dance floor set up in front of the stage and Andrew takes requests. He was great and performed may songs of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, and more. Ichabod's Lounge is exactly what a neighborhood bar should be. It has that Old Vegas feel with real personality, not some over-polished tourist spot. You can tell there's pride in the place from the way it's set up to the way people are treated. Somehow this already feels like my go-to bar. The owner clearly cares about keeping things personal and making sure customers feel appreciated, and that shows in the atmosphere and the service. Behind the bar you've got a cowboy that always make you feel welcome, plus some seriously friendly (and yes, cute) bartenders who actually want you to have a good time. The cooks do an amazing job with the dishes served. Best bar tacos for Taco Tuesday! We have been coming here for 19 years and have never been disappointed. The owner is a gem of a guy, always talking with his customers and making sure they are well taken care of. The manager Erin is amazing very helpful, and she always makes sure that the customers are getting what they need. The gaming is always fun even when I lose the bartenders keep me in good cheer. Came in this wonderful God blessed night and was immediately greeted by the most hostile woman. It's April first 2026 of the year of our Lord. I spoke to her asking why the bar was so dark and was greeted my immediate hostility. Not just from her but by a drunk patron to my left. I'm a personal bar owner and have worked in the industry for over 20 years. I tipped my normal $5 dollars as well as deposited $20 into the machines to unwind for a hard days work. There was another patron to my right who was screaming into his phone. There's was maybe 5 people total in the bar. I moved a few seats away to disenfranchise my self from the screaming man. Talked to another patron about if this was how business was conducted here and got immediately screamed at my the bar lady. I asked for my casino cash out ticket and left. Do not go here if you don't want to be screamed at by the patrons and especially the lady running it. Totally deplorable. No wonder it's so empty'. I walked in innocent and left purged by their lives. I walk in to every establishment with a pure heart. These people and that bar lady hate what they're doing. WOW. May God bless them. read more

I order so much and take the left overs home because the portions are huge. What we ordered this time, (because I've been coming here for years lol) was the Garlic Edamame, Chicken Parmesan and the Fried Chicken Livers with mash potatoes and veggies 10/10 . The mashed potatoes had peelings in them. If I wanted to eat potato peelings, I would order them from the appetizer menu. I'm not even positive that the potatoes weren't instant. Terrible. That seems like laziness on the kitchens part, not peeling potatoes. The beef was ok. Just sliced beef. I wish the gravy had been homemade. Next time I will order something I know was made in the kitchen. Burger, pork chops with a baked potato. Best part of my dinner was the soup I ordered separately. Very disappointed on the whole. For example, build your own burger: is menu priced $15 add pablano pepper $1 add fried onions $1 sauteed mushrooms $1.. but they charged us $16 for the burger and $2 for each of the veggies that I added that is a rip off and an overcharge I would suggest telling the manager to take off the extra charge and update her menu . read more

Took my parents here for their birthdays, and what a great experience. Wonderful server, and the food is fantastic at very reasonable prices. Definitely one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! And they heard us talking about birthdays and brought out desserts for the everyone at the end. This was our first visit to Ichabod's & at first we were very pleased. We had just got our taxes done & since the restaurant is next door, we stopped in for breakfast. The interior was very nice, a beautiful white piano off to the side, surrounded by cloth covered tables. Tasteful decorations for the up coming St. Patrick's Day celebration adorned the walls. The breakfast was delicious & Leslie was very nice however, we did have a problem. Once we left the restaurant & got into our car, the Mrs realized she had left her eyeglass case. She went back in, but the table had been cleaned & no one knew anything about the eyeglass case. She did find the cleaning cloth that had been in the case, on the seat, but no case. Love the old school Vegas vibe and the server was super friendly (always a plus for me).
