Manager Juan Sanchez exhibited unprofessional behavior during my recent interaction. I recommend refraining from ordering online, as items are often missing from deliveries. Furthermore, despite the order being for delivery, I was instructed to pick up the items in person. The manager was dismissive and rude, insisting I pick up the order myself. He also informed me that my refund of $7 would be processed within 30 days. At this point, I have decided to forgo the refund and retain my money, as the experience was not worth the inconvenience. The manager's conduct was disrespectful, and I will not be placing further orders with this establishment. I plan to patronize the neighboring IHOP instead. read more

The waitress was terrific, but the price of $55 was too much for a steak with eggs and french toast and a separate order of French toast and two minute maid orange juices. We tip $10 dollars in cash, and went to pay with a debit card..., Not only that they double charge me, the manager got upset because he didn't wanted to reverse the payment, plus he tried to stop me from taking my mind... I had a usual experience at Denny's this evening until the end when it came time to pay my bill. My family and I purchased out entrees and received out kids meals free. So far so good. My daughter inquired about getting a free dessert when joining the rewards program. The waitress let us know that if we joined the rewards program we could get a free desert. I joined the program and ordered the desert. So far so good. We finished eating our desert and I approached the counter to pay my bill. She took my receipt, scanned my rewards QR code and I told her I had another reward to redeem. She informed me that I could only use 1 reward. This was disappointing but does not sound ridiculous or out of the ordinary. It's typical really but I understood. So far so good. She needed a manager to approve the free dessert on the register side and then it went sideways. The manager Angela informed the waitress and I that we could only use 1 discount. The waitress did not know this and therefore did not mention this when we inquired. We had to either take off the kids eat free or the free dessert. Had I been aware that I could use my reward for joining the app, I would not have ordered the dessert. This is what ruined my experience not just with this Denny's but Denny's as a whole if this is how they train their managers to act. After informing of the policy, the manager stood there with a "Theirs is nothing I can do" look on her face. I know for a fact that she could have overridden the dessert given that the waitress incorrectly informed me. The waitress admitted to giving me the wrong information and she still stood by policy instead of morality. An employee of Denny's gave me the client wrong information and therefore I made purchase based on that incorrect information. She could have rectified the situation but instead chose to consider the bottom line over making the situation right. I have worked retail, I have managed, I have worked a register, I have overridden items on a transaction and I know what it is to rectify a situation. I have had less situations rectified by manager's who are looking to make right by the customer. Angela did not attempt to make rectify the situation. I greatly despise people who have the authority to make things right and choose "policy" over morality. I am not looking for a handout, just make right where the company failed to properly inform a customer. I do not blame the waitress, she did not know, she did not apologize either but it does not excuse the fact that she should have known but that is on a lack of training on the manager's part. Denny's, I am greatly disappointed in the service at this particular location. It saddens me. The state of business is downgrading, the state of work ethic is downgrading, the state of customer service is downgrading and the willingness of workers to own their mistakes is significantly downgrading. And people wonder why the restaurant business is in decline. We get inflated prices, less food, understaffed and overwhelmed employees and customer service that is just about non-existent. I write reviews fabulous reviews when a company does right by its clients. I also write fabulous reviews for individual employees that go above and beyond when they do not have to. Employees who understand their role and excel in it when the customers do not treat them properly. I greatly enjoy thanking, encouraging, building, and showing my appreciation because I know what the service industry is like having worked 20 years in various roles. I know what under-appreciation looks and feels like on both the managerial side and the client side. I have a great respect for those who do their job with a smile and do their job with passion. The same though is true on the other end of the spectrum. When companies and employees fail me and do not show integrity in doing what is right. I will respond as passionately as I would when a fabulous job was done. You have let me down on this particular one Denny's. I now have a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to the name Denny's. I will be expressing my experience to anybody that inquires and will listen. I was misinformed, I was legally taken advantage of, I was misinformed and I was treated as a fool. A manager that cannot override an item. They do it everyday except when they do not want to. Policy over morality every time. Policy says over what is the right thing to do in this particular situation. Policy every time. I will open my money elsewhere from now on Denny's. read more

Came here with my mom it a big Denny's like the atmosphere is very bright and fun. Liz is what impressed me most. I have Been a restaurant manager for years and she hits every expectation and beyond. Not sure if her management has been around to hear her with her tables but she is awesome. My mom ordered steak and eggs right when she told her the temperature, Liz offered her mushrooms and onions which most servers don't do that in these establishments. I told her that was new for her and she says it's never been offered to me. She stayed on top of our drinks. She was just a really great kind Server. And she's fast if you take that town is taking her the time to greet them with a smile. I can get Danny's food anywhere, but I'll be back for Liz's service. read more

Everything is excellent. I always come to this location, but I love coming on Mondays. The manager Corina He is super friendly and always smiling and supporting We asked for the bill and she kindly took the bill from me. You know what you're going to get when you go to your local Denny's. The seasonal pumpkin pancakes were pretty good. The hash browns and sausage balanced out the sweetness. The hot cocoa tasted burnt and barely had a chocolate flavor. And the mug was oddly shaped; tall and skinny with a huge handle.
