I know Red Lobster can be polarizing for some people. It's had its ups and downs, no doubt about it. But I'm going to say recently, they're really trying to turn things around. This location on Flamingo Rd at Eastern Pkwy has been consistently good. I have had may great and friendly servers...I wish I could remember all of their names (I should have written them down), but most recently Ellen helped me and she's terrific. I've had her as a server before and she is outgoing, super-friendly, attentive and really on top of her game. The food has been really pretty terrific, I must say. I regularly get the Ultimate Feast when I go to Red Lobster. I know, I know...it's not something that's within reach for a lot of diners. Clocking in at Just over $50 some are going to see this as pricey. They're not wrong but while it is pricey, it is pretty worth it for what you get. The Ultimate feast comes with a lobster tail, a cluster of snow crab, shrimp scampi, and some of Walt's fried shrimp with two sides. I had broccoli with mine. First I want to comment on the broccoli. Broccoli, for me, is an after thought. Some people love it. I don't, but I ate every bit of this broccoli because it was cooked well, not mushy or waterlogged. It was really very good. the lobster was terrific, good-sized portion, cooked perfectly. The scampi and fried shrimp were great. The show crab though, for me, was the star of the show. This was a nice size cluster. I was easily able to crack and remove the crab. Often, I have been to seafood places where the crab is waterlogged and it's difficult to eat and not really worth the effort. This was the opposite of that. Nice, deliciously rich crab. Easy to crack and eat. Very enjoyable. The place is clean and has the standard look and feel of a Red Lobster. All-in-all, I have been pleased with the dozen or so times I have visited this location and recommend it wholeheartedly. read more

The Bairdi Crab Was Worth the Drive! I had a serious taste for crab, so I made the 30-minute drive to Red Lobster since there isn't one close to me -- and I'm glad I did! I was seated right away and started with fresh Cheddar Bay Biscuits straight out of the oven. They were smoking hot and delicious as ever! I was there on a Wednesday, so it was pretty quiet but that didn't take away from the attentiveness of the server. (I'm gonna go back and get his name) I ordered the Crab Your Way and upgraded to the Bairdi crab, which is bigger and sweeter than snow crab. You get a couple fewer legs, but they're meatier -- and a pound is a pound! I chose broccoli for my side. It was also Happy Hour, so I indulged in a $5 margarita and baby... it was RIGHT! I'm not much of a drinker, but that margarita had me LIT! For the crab, I got the RL Signature Sauce, which is a combination of their sauces, and IT DELIVERED! Full of garlic and butter and absolutely finger-licking good! I wanted every drop of that sauce. Tuesday tip: They have the $37.99 crab plate for $28.99 on Tuesdays! The Bairdi upgrade isn't included -- it's snow crab only -- but that's still an even better deal if you love crab. Stopped in for dinner and ordered the lobster tails with mashed potatoes and a fish & chips plate. The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, kept drinks filled, and did everything right. Honestly, the service was the highlight of the visit and is the main reason I'd consider returning. The food was a mixed bag. The lobster tails were overcooked and chewy, which was disappointing considering they're one of the premium items on the menu. The mashed potatoes tasted processed rather than homemade. The fish was decent, but the fries were clearly standard frozen food-service fries. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy and ended up being one of the better parts of the meal. Overall, the experience was saved by excellent service. The kitchen has room for improvement, especially on items that customers are paying a premium for. Great staff deserves food that matches the effort they're putting in. I stopped here today by myself to have lunch and I am so glad that I did. I was immediately welcomed when walking in the door. It smelled SO nice inside. I was seated by a window in Najima's section and she absolutely made my day 10X better!! She was so friendly and welcoming. She never stopped moving the whole time I was there but she has such a great attitude and personality for the job. I truly enjoyed watching her as her section filled up. She has the menu completely memorized and can answer any questions you may have about the flavors and how the foods are prepared. She was SO patient with an elderly couple who were seated near me. I hope to get seated in her section on future visits! I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops and they were delicious, perfectly seared and tender. They came with a lovely salad of mixed greens and a decadent lime vinaigrette! No other location I've visited has plated the scallops this way and I thoroughly enjoyed the pairing. The flavors played SO well together. For the main course, I ordered the Wednesday special - steak & a lobster tail w/ steamed broccoli. Everything was perfect. Red Lobster never misses when it comes to their salmon and my recent visit was no different. I'm not a huge fan of the location but the service was exceptional. I had a waiter Jesus and honestly his attention to detail and personalized service during my visit was unmatched. Genuine service is harder to come by in this era and I appreciate him. I ordered salmon New Orleans blackened with shrimp and packed with flavor 10/10. Lobster baked potato served with tons of yummy butter, and I'm obsessed with their brussle sprouts. Perfect char. We ordered two lobster tails both big but one was alot bigger than the other (no complaints). THe lobster gratin similar to lobster mac was cheesy and golden brown yum!!! I was surprised by the lobster flatbread it was surprisingly a strong appetizer choice. Overall great visit. I am giving this location 5 stars because there is absolutely nothing i had to complain about. We are in Vegas house hunting, and it happened to be my daughters bday. We came here to have a bday meal together. They have plenty of parking. The location is clean inside and out. We were greeted immediately and seated. The staff are so nice. This location actually put some alcohol in the drinks. The food was really good, everything was hot and fresh. The new menu is wonderful, but sad the garlic butter mussels are gone. My dad and I dined here at this Red Lobster Location for the very first time, and let me tell you, we had the most amazing experience ever! I was celebrating my birthday. Our server name was Najima and she took care of us from the time we arrived till the time we left. She made sure we were happy and never rushed us. She was so nice, respectful, and caring. She kept the shrimp coming until we were satisfied, full, and happy. The chedder bay biscuits were so warm and fresh everytime we asked for more. The Endless Shrimp Deal is amazing! The whole staff came over and sang happy birthday for her and gave her this dessert that had a cute little drawing of a lobster and it said "shell-ebrate"! It was so cute. They also made an unforgettable experience by providing a card for her birthday that was signed by everyone who was working that day. This was my first time back at Red Lobster since before COVID, and WOW, they absolutely won me back as a customer! From the moment we sat down, our server Jesus went above and beyond. He was so attentive, friendly, and gave amazing recommendations. Especially the margarita flight, which was a total hit! I came in specifically to try the viral Mariner Seafood Boil, and it did not disappoint. Every piece of protein was perfectly cooked! Juicy, flavorful, and definitely not dry. Honestly, it was one of the best seafood boils I've had in a long time. My husband played it safe with the classic crab legs (boring! ), but even he was impressed with how fresh everything tasted. We dined last night at Red Lobster on Flamingo. A family member has celiac disease and can not have gluten. When making the reservation this was noted, and we were told the server can help wiith items on the menu. Ultimately we chose "safe foods", Filet Mignon, mashed potatoes and Broccoli. We know the risk in a shared kitchen and the menu did not state that the options were gluten free, but what happened when the food arrived was alarming. Everything looked good, steak cooked perfectly. Then the 1st bite of mashed potatoes there was a deep fried coated shrimp (gluten) right in the center, completely submerged. Trying to figure out how fried shrimp gets in mashed potatoes, it almost felt intentional. I would hope the kitchen staff would be professional and cautious when preparing anyone's meal, and even more so when it is health related. The server was very attentive, apologetic and immediately rectified the situation with new potatoes. It is unfortunate this incident has broke our trust with Red Lobster. read more

Red Lobster is my go to place, I've never had a bad dish and whatever you ask for they will usually take care of it. I enjoy the lobster and they had a plate that had 2 different lobsters on it and also lobster pasta and I was in heaven. Neither one of us was disappointed, there is a good selection of protein and sides to choose from. Ok...so, just to clear the air a little, I typically don't review a lot of chain corporate type establishments because I usually don't enter these types of place with a huge high expectation, if any, at all really to be completely honest. Daysha (I've probably butchered her name, my apologies) was our server and she was phenomenal. She was very friendly, attentive, and patient. She was great with my wife, offering and giving her an awesome sundae to celebrate her birthday. Give that woman a raise! The food for me....eh, was ok. The clam Chowder was nice and hot but just mediocre in general. The potatoes and clams seemed a bit sparse and the flavor was a little heavy on the salt. I also had the fish and chips. To be completely honest, I thought it was a happy hour portion with the non-happy hour price. The plate consisted of one decent sized piece of fish that was somewhat heavily breaded, a handful of fries, 2 little hush puppies, a good portion of coleslaw (not my favorite), and probably two of the smallest dipping containers I've ever seen for condiment....I will say it was close to the ratio needed of food given. At any rate, to be fair it was more than just edible. Not spectacular, by any means. Just certainly not worth the price point. The a piece of fish and some chips was $20. The clam Chowder was $10. I'm convinced the amount used in the bowl is probably the same portion used in a cup. Doh! My wife enjoyed her lobster surf and turf. Again, the consensus was good just not worth at the price point. 5 stars ONLY because Nate (the manager) was so kind and helpful in resolving the issues we had. Arrived at 6:32, took us 45 minutes to get our food for a party of 3, but the time it took wasn't the issue. Our food had died under a heat lamp for who knows how long. I've worked in food and beverage for 10 years, manage my own restaurants and couldn't get my own server to come back to our table. Forgot our salad, didn't take it off but still handed me a check with it still on there and just tried to quote me a price of how much it would be rather than bringing me the receipt with the correct amount and tried to take my card when i wanted to wait for the corrected one. Nate was so kind and took accountability of his staff and as a General Manager myself, I'm genuinely appreciative of the experience as I've never complained to a manager before but the experience was that terrible. As someone who works 6 days a week, my one day off to have dinner with my boyfriend is something i look forward to, so thank you Nate. I was quite surprised, the Mussels were in a garlic sauce and served with garlic bread... it was delicious and perfectly seasoned to my taste. Having grown up abroad I'd never got to try red lobster growing up, so my friend's decided it was time for me to try it. For a lower budget, family inclusive restaurant it definitely ticked a lot of boxes. Our server was nice and gave a couple of recommendations. We ordered the sailors boil. The corn was cold. We told our server. The manager riannon came over and said they would get us new corn. We got the new corn and it was cold as ICE. Suddenly everyone disappeared. We finally had to flag someone down and our waiter came back. His name was Isaac. He felt the corn so he can attest to how cold it was. It felt like ice. We got our bill and didn't get one penny off and we couldn't even eat all our food. The manager never came back again. Isaac was a good server.
