Keep trying this Applebee's every month and every time food order was given to us wrong. My wife likes her steak completely well done no pink. Everytime we tell them this they get wrong everytime. There is a employee named Bobby that waited on me and my girlfriend. We saw him hop from table to table with a great attitude and always smiling when he cane to our table. First off I wish I could I give negative stars for the service. The food is always great, love the specials. Love the drink specials. But the service all around is horrible. Went in tonight because I seen the big "Dining Room Is Open" sign by the street. I was actually excited because there was a couple things I was looking forward to. But soon after being seated I could tell a thing hadn't changed. We ordered 2 waters and 2 beers. 10 minutes later our waiter came up and told us both of our beers were out. 10 minutes in a restaurant that is running at half capacity and there were maybe 10 tables. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich and asked for only Swiss no cheddar, they put both on the sandwich. I also asked to have no honey BBQ sauce and no Mayo and they put that on as well so they ignored everything I asked for, so now I will not be eating this. My wife and I went on a Thursday afternoon right after he lunch rush. We so had our 8 month old with us. When we walked in, it wasn't super busy but obviously it had been. Here's the good: -the waitress was very nice -the fold was delicious -the price was what we expected Now for the bad -the service took forever, despite there being 5 people on the floor (including the bartender) for the 11 tables that were occupied -the high chair they gave us almost fell apart when I tried to pull it close to put my child in. The bolts were super loose (they did apologize and bring us a new one right away) -it took some pretty intense signaling on my part to get the waitress' attention Overall wasn't a terrible experience but it could have been way better. read more

This place is great environment wise. The wait staff is ridiculous. One night, my boyfriend and I went to dinner with another couple. It took forever to get out food, but when we did, the order was WRONG and we just sucked it up and ate it. The waitress NEVER came back to see if we needed anything nor did she ask how the food was. If I could give 0 stars I would. We highly recommend you stay as far away from this establishment as possible. We have never experienced more poor service than this place. First one of our drinks comes out wrong and completely watered down. Then we are missing part of someone's dinner. Well the server obviously didn't care because we repeatedly tried to get her attention and she would look at us then walk way. She also ignored the table call button to the point that a completely different server came and asked if we needed any help. It took so long to get the drink and the rest of the dinner the rest of the party was done eating completely. Even then we still weren't helped and my husband had to go ask to speak with a manager. Which we found out as we were about to leave the server had lied to the manager what was going on. In fairness the manager did take care of it once she knew what was going on but that is not enough for the hassle this place as caused. If I had the choice between a free meal at Applebees or a bologna sandwich and a keystone at the house, I would be at the house. On a non busy day it took over 10 minutes after we sat before we were asked for drinks. It then took another 10 minutes to get the drinks. My meal was not good at all and my GF chicken was very cold in the center and she sent it back. It then came back out....still cold. Never again applebees....never again. read more

I really like Applebee's. It's one of those places that just make you feel right at home. The service is awesome and the layout of the building is perfect. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because even though the servers are excellent, the building is nice, the parking lot is spacious, and the drinks are great, the food tends to be undercooked or overcooked. If you order a burger it will most likely be red in the middle. If you order a steak well done it will either be burnt or medium rare. If you eat here make sure your food is cooked properly before you eat. read more

We had a bad experience having a lunch at your business. The food was OK but the server was rude. We paid with cash. A #100.00 bill. and we wanted to not pay the tax. I am a 100% disabled Vet. Not understanding the liffle machine on the table I puched a botton. Pushing that button cost $2.00 for playing a gsme I never played. When we got our change it was not in the correct amount and we did not get the bill back with the cash. wife asked to see the bill and a little time a bill was found. MY wife pointed out that the cash was short by @2.00. the waitress then readded the bill and said that here is the change for the meals and in a very rude manner slammed the $2.00 down on the table. We then asked to speak to the manager and the best she come up was a phone number and not even a toll free number. I think it will some time before We come back. read more

I used to love Applebee's, but over the last few years the quality has suffered. The changes in the menu were not good in my opinion. I hadn't went in a while so I thought I'd give the Applebee's in Lawton, OK a try. I ordered the triple hog sandwich which came with bacon, ham, and pulled pork. There was plenty of ham and bacon on it but very little if any pulled pork on the sandwich. The waiter, who was very nice, agreed that he didn't see any pulled pork either and took the sandwich to have it remade. The waiter came back telling me the pulled pork was pressed in the sandwich, although neither of us could see it and that if I wanted more it would cost extra! To that is horrible. You would think the bacon, ham, and pulled would be in equal amounts. All I could taste was bacon and ham. Needless to say I won't be giving them another try. read more

Train Wreck! Went here on Valentines 2013, of course expected to wait. Seated and welcome by friendly waitress. Ordered a steak medium, it came back well done, when the waitress asked the cook to give it another try it came back raw. Steamed veggies were still hard. Ordered a sizzling Apple pie with ice cream--when it came out there was nothing sizzling. Pie was cold and so was plate. Went to Applebee's to have dinner with my daughter. We went early for dinner knowing that most restaurants in Lawton are "packed" on weekend night. Luckily we seemed to have picked the right time as they were not busy when we arrived. We ordered a half size Queso Blanco as a appetizer and for the entree a 7oz Sirloin (Medium/Rare) with Shrimps with Cesar Salad on the side and a Spicy Shrimp Rice Dish. The Queso and Cesar salad were served in a decent time. Once we were done with the appetizer the server brought the Spicy Rice dish, another Cesar salad that we had not ordered and no steak. The sirloin was brought to the table 5 minutes later. The sirloin was well done and the shrimps were cold. I called the server over and showed him the well done steak and also told him that the shrimps were cold. He replied that he would have them cook me a new one. My daughter ate her dish and once she was done(20 minutes later) I still had not received my meal. I had to call the server over again and told him that I did not want my steak anymore as the purpose of the visit was to have dinner with my daughter! He said the steak was just done and said I could take it home in a box. Just by looking at the steak I could tell that it was not medium rare, cut it and voila! the sirloin was hardly pink inside. I told him that I did not want the steak at all, not even in a box. The server told me that he had to have a manager take the steak of my bill. The manager came over and said he would not bill me for the steak. DUH.. I did not get a steak why would I have to pay for a service I have not received!!! That is no courtesy. So the manage comes back with the bill and the steak is still part of the bill. I told him the amount did not seem right. He then took a closer look and said he apologizes, they had charged me twice for the steak and only took one of the bill. I did pay the bill , also I did not tip a penny. It only takes max two minutes on each side to cook a 7 oz steak medium rare! The waiter had no apologies and did not check with the kitchen to make sure the steak was prepared in a timely manner and as the guest had ordered it. The manager should have looked at the bill before he showed it to me. The manger should have offered compensation besides not charging for a food item not received. Been going to Applebee's since they opened. Can't remember a bad meal. If something was wrong, they corrected it quickly. Love their Thai uesshrimp salad and the broccoli and shrimp with pasta dish. My son likes their quesadilla burger and steaks and before my father got where he couldn't get (he was 94) out we would take him. Only complaint he had was they did not serve bread with their meals unless asked & you had to pay for it separately. Anyway I have always been happy with their food and service. read more

On 7-13-16 at 10pm our server not only had so many tables she could barley pay attention to us but the BARTENDER that night was horrible. She made my drink 30mimutes late. Then didn't even put alcohol in it. She took forever to make every drink, then when I returned the drink because we had to leave she got a attitude with our server about us. I am a bartender myself and have never seen such horrible service. She paid all her attention to her 7 people at her bar and all her tickets were lined up!!! I am not sure what her name was. I NEVER Yelp bad reviews but they definitely need a new bartender!! This is my first bad review. I will not be going back here. I felt bad for our sever because she did check on our drinks and she was very sweet but we literally waited at least 30minutes for drinks. Worse bartender ever.
