My salad had exactly three croutons.. I asked for unsweet tea with no lemon it came with a lemon in the tea. If you know anything about restaurants you should know never to order a lemon because everyone puts their fingers in the lemon container. The food is always cooked well and comes out the way you wanted. I always get the Dallas fillet. But today I tried the salmon which was excellent too. 8/12/26 about 6 pm ordered 12 oz sirloin med rare, wife ordered another steak cut about 10 ounces, also med rare. ice tea and 1 marg. wife gave me taste of her steak and it was excellent. cooked correctly and a nice charccoaled flavor. my steak came out and when server asked me to cut it open, it was a most disgusting looking mealy pasty sad shade of grey matter you ever saw. more like grey pus or brain matter. and it was way way overdone. zero any color except death warmed over, i had never returned a steak in my life and i am in my 60s. but i swiftly refused to even take a bite due to disgusting appearance and overcooked. so mgr brought me another steak. it was a good looking steak exteriorwise but when i cut it open mgr even said, hey that is well done instead of medium rare. a bad evening as i sat there with nothing to eat while my wife ate alone. the salad and potato was good. the 2nd steak was far better looking than steak 1, but it was also way overcooked. the cook should be reprimanded for steak 1 as it was so disgusting in every respect. i wonder how many times it had been rejected that night as it wasnt fit even to make chili. the mgr was very nice and so was server number 1.dont think i will ever try another steak tho. restaurant was clean. read more

Been going here since they opened. Slowly going down hill. Today the chicken critters weren't cooked all the way through, the sirloin and baked potato was warm, not hot, the NY strip was fatty. I asked for a loaded bake potato and all I got was cheese and bacon on top, the chili was lukewarm too. The floor manager removed the chicken critter sirloin combo from the ticket. The waitress forgot to put in the to go order and every time she walked by to check the other table, she ignored us. So today was a lousy experience. We won't be returning for a very long time . Our 1st time at a Texas Roadhouse. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. Ribeye and Sirloin were tender and tasty as were the salads, sweet potato, mashed potatoes, Cactus blossom and of course the ROLLS! The raspberry lemonade was SO good, not the cheapo fake flavor found elsewhere. Service from our server Luis was great- super friendly, attentive and quick for as busy as they were! I wish I'd taken entree pics but it looked so good we dove right in. May have to come back to TX just to eat there again! read more

This is very loud so if you're autistic or sensory impaired, I would go on off hours where there's not going to be a lot of people in there. Also, if you're in a motorized chair, it's gonna be very hard to get in and around because it's always so busy and it's simply hard to walk through let alone try to steer a motorized chair through. they are good with takeout though. I am very selective about giving out 5 stars, but I can tell you that this restaurant was deserving of the 5 star rating. They got it on the interaction with the hostess, service from the waiter, and the quality and taste of the food that I ordered. Upon arrival, the hostess immediately greeted us with a smile and a genuine greeting. She immediately whisked us to our table and wished us a great meal. Our waiter quickly arrived at our table, greeted us with a friendly smile, and took our drink orders. The waiter took our order lickety-split, and all we had to do was talk about work and life while waiting for our food. After an acceptable time, our food arrived. I ordered a side salad with ranch, the 16 oz prime rib, medium rare, and steamed broccoli. All I can say was, aside from the fat that I trimmed from the prime rib, my plate was pretty much clean of any food scraps. It was that good! The prime rib was cooked perfectly and seasoned just rice. The au jus and creamy horseradish just made my taste buds explode. You definitely can't go wrong with the prime rib here. I'm visiting my brother in Lawton OK to help him during his recovery from knee replacement surgery. We were headed to Chick-Fil-A but the line was insane to go through drive-thru and they had their dining area closed so we headed off to another spot. I noticed the tables were cleaned and sanitized between customers, all the staff were wearing face masks and they have partitions up helping with the social distancing. We were offered the opportunity to choose the steak we would want from the front, but we decided to just sit and order letting someone else choose the steak for us. We were seated rather quickly and our waiter was there to greet us. Our waiter was an upbeat, personable, funny, and entertaining young man named Buzz. ( Don't try any jokes as he has heard them all " Buzz Lightyear" "Buzz Aldrin" etc...) He was on top of everything, refills, checking in to ensure we were good with our food, sauces, and everything else. The food was outstanding as it usually is here. Th servers are always nice and the food generally comes out pretty quick. The food itself is alright. The rolls are fantastic and are easily the best thing here. The sweet butter is great and pairs very well with the rolls. This restaurant has kids meals and the pricing is not that bad. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because of the rest of the food. The rest of the food isn't bad it's just alright. While I wouldn't tell u not to go here, I wouldn't tell u to go here. The service and restaurant it's self is nice. So this place is the place to go in Lawton if you want a decent steak. They don't have many choices it's always really packed. We sit at the bar so it's a short wait otherwise you are waiting 45 plus minutes. They do have a get on the wait list option I believe but I am not sure. Anyway we alway get the 8 oz sirloin add mushrooms and Cesar salad. The steaks were cooked perfect this time usually that's the thing you will find inconsistent at this road house. Sitting at the bar you always get fairly good service. I would rate tonight 3 1/2 if I could service was slow the bartenders were talking to each other a lot not paying the best attention to guests. The Ambiance Texas Roadhouse is very friendly and family oriented. The Texas Roadhouse in Lawton also has the privilege of supporting our military at Fort Sill and therefore you often get the privilege of seeing graduating classes, patronizing with their families. It's an awesome thing to behold for sure. The service is so great, we have never had to ask for a refill and they are on top of things without being on top of you, with friendly attitudes and great suggestions. We almost always go to Texas roadhouse for the Steaks. They do not disappoint and their sides are delicious. We have tried other things on the menu and they are equally as good but it is our go to when we want a nice steak. I don't think we've ever waited longer than 15 minutes for a table and that is because we prefer a table over a booth. Very disappointed in the seating for elderly family with walkers and canes. Chairs are limited and cramped with booths. There are tall bar height chairs but these are not suitable for the disabled persons In my family. We did not stay for a dinner for 6 people. Texas Roadhouse in Lawton is an amazing place to get a first class steak. I base this review of dining at what are ranked as the top 10 steakhouses in the US over the past quarter century. Will you find white table cloths and 30,000 bottle wine cellar? No. What you will find is a steak that is hand-cut on premises, cooked to your requested temperature, and properly seasoned that will not set you back starting at $60 for an 8 oz filet. Speaking of which, I had the Dallas 8 oz last night (med rare) that beat the pants off a $60 similar cut two weeks ago at a five star in Dallas.
