First of all, props to Josh who gave us great table service! For the restaurant being busy and shorter staffed, he was doing a tremendous job!!! The restaurant was pretty clean inside and out as we were the first customers of the day waiting for them to open the front door. The food was excellent here as many Applebee's that I go to. I definitely got my money's worth as we both ordered the $14.99 All-you-can-eat riblets, shrimp, Boneless Wings, and French fries. We both also ordered Dr. Peppers to drink. I was happy to have a soda since I drank nothing but waters in a medical clinic for a week. Here was my food list as I was so hungry... 1. Sweet Asian Riblets 2. French fries 3. Coleslaw 4. We have always liked going to this Applebee's location since 2009. Since COVID, this location has turned over management several times. It always did have some churn regarding the staff. The food has been the stabilizing factor for us. The bar is decently stocked. It's interesting watching people look up how to make a drink. Sometimes the wait for service can be long due to short staffing. I hope current management gets it worked out. I like all the tv sets playing. I also like that they have a TouchTunes jukebox. I brought my son to Applebee's to have dinner. We ordered the two for $25 and I ordered that half rack of baby back ribs with french fries fries. We waited forever when we finally did get our food. My ribs were black. They were so burnt, and I won't even get into how small it was. I tried to eat them, but they were just too hard. I literally ate five fries off my plate that's it. I did call the waitress over. I showed it to her and she goes. Oh my yeah that's burnt. She took my plate and showed it to the manager. All they give me was a 10% discount. It took 20 minutes for someone to even come to our table. When my girlfriend and I placed our orders, the waiter didn't write anything down, then came back with the wrong food. When I pointed it out, a woman gave me a look like I was lying--completely disrespectful. She then said, "I can't let you have both because that would be, you know..."--which was unnecessary. Just fix the order and be polite. This Applebee's is genuinely awful and fully deserves its 2-star rating. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for them to remake my food, with no apology for wasting an hour and a half of my day over a burger and some chicken. We have been going to Applebees for many years and this is the worst service by far. Arrived a little after 5 PM was over 15 minutes before anyone stopped at our table. Despite seeing numerous other forms of ID containing the same birth date, she still called the cops to confirm. We were OK with this, but then this woman looks her up on Facebook to confirm her birth date... again. (So weird right?!?... and creepy) She then proceeded to show all the other workers in the restaurant her ID (invasion of privacy). The immaturity of this woman, the way she acted, the way she yelled accusations at us completely ruined the night. No apology was received, no meal on the house, nothing. Underage drinking is something to beware of in a college town - but we can agree yelling at another grown adult is never the way to address a possible issue. I'm convinced that I found the dirtiest and slowest Applebees ever created. There was a wait just to be seated but the restaurant was basically empty. We came in on a Friday night and had a 15 minute wait to be seated, no big deal kitchens get backed up, but while sitting and waiting I noticed the floors had thick black grease residue that could probably be scraped off with a putty knife or just needed someone to deck scrub with degreaser, but I'm not gonna hold that against them at this point either. We finally get seated and our table is so sticky that our menus were stuck to the table and my child asked if there was tape on his because he couldn't remove it. I also can look past this since I worked in food service and know when it gets busy, sometimes a sticky rag gets missed and mistakes happen and it's an easy fix. The staff was still nice and helpful giving us a heads up. We finally got seated, our waitress was nice and the food was good. I am 24 years old trying to order a $3 margarita which probably has half a shot of liquor in it and I got denied because they were so convinced I had a fake ID. I was fine not drinking and just getting my ID back so I could save myself a trip to the DMV but the waitress came out guns blazing to prove to me that my real ID was a fake. This location has really gone downhill. We ate there a few months ago and the service was slow and the food came out cold. Then decided to try carry-out a couple weeks ago and the experience was even worse. Waited more that 20 minutes after the food was supposed to be ready and finally decided to go in to see what the holdup was. TL;DR: Great food if nothing goes wrong. ...If. THE FOOD Applebee's food is some amalgamation of fine dining and bar food, and it works. Applebee's is one of the rare places where everyone's orders seems to fit a theme that I can only describe as Midwest fine dining. The food itself has been well prepared almost every-time I've visited and is always well plated. THE STAFF They're... not... rude...? I'm just saying that the staff are hit-and-miss if your table gets a passionate or overworked server. A good portion of the waitstaffs' duties are taken care of by an iPad-like device on each table, which even having been implemented for years, continues to confuse diners and staff alike. Just realize you can flag a waiter with a selection on the pad. THE WAIT Oh no. I mentioned above how Applebee's is hybrid bar/fine dining. Applebee's takes the worse aspects from both: the wait times of a fine diner and the consistency of a bar. Be prepared to wait thirty minutes for one person to get their salad, another ten until the rest of the salads and the appetizers at the same time, and two minutes until the entire main course is piled onto the table. read more

Very frustrated with this Applebee's. I've been a regular for three or four years but over the past 12 months the decline has been awful with timeliness of the orders, overall portion sizes, constantly leaving items out of the order for car-side to go, but most importantly undercooked food along with inadequate customer service. One week ago my wife and I ordered food for ourselves and others after a long trip back from CO as a car-side to go. Our order was over $50. Out of the four orders only one was correct. The other three either had chicken that was still raw or was missing a side item. The female manager on duty that night was very receptive and empathetic. The manager that contacted me the next day did not come across as genuine. He tried to make it "right" by sending out some gift cards. I appreciate the "offer" but if you mess up a $50+ order you should reimburse said money at a minimum - after all I had to cook the food after we got it home and cut in to the chicken. Laughable in my opinion. Unfortunately, this is one of 4-5 mishaps for us at this particular Applebee's over the past 7-8 visits. While it use to be a place I looked forward to visiting it has now turned in to a place I avoid. Ruby Tuesday's has been a pleasant replacement!!! read more
