I would like to preface that me and my friends all have service/restaurant experience, so when we say it was bad it was BAD. It was five of us, and we ordered breakfast and appetizers. One of us had a custom omelet but otherwise nothing that should've taken longer than 10 min to cook. For one, we waited twenty minutes for drinks, and all of us ordered water. the place was half empty. Then, we waited almost 1.5 hours for our food to show up, and it became blatantly obvious that they forgot our order or messed up something, even though the order was submitted via a tablet by the waitress. We had explicitly asked for appetizers to show up with the rest of the food, and they brought it out early anyway. Then a second set of appetizers showed up that we never ordered. When they started to bring out the rest of the food, there was a noticeable gap between the first half and second half of food. We were asked by three different people if we got all of our food and food was brought out one item at a time. By the time we got our food we wish we had left and weren't hungry anymore. And you would hope with how long it took that our food would be phenomenal. NO. Pancakes were crunchy like chips and the portion size was pathetic. The actual chips tasted like plywood. The food was lukewarm or cold. The only item that was to par was the artichoke dip. As I said, I have restaurant experience so I tend to be forgiving in most cases. Most of the time it's one part of the operation that's slowing things down. In this restaurant, everything is fucked. The cooks were slow and not good at their job, the waiters were in no hurry and did not update us on our food. The management didn't seem in command of anything going on and it looked like they just went with the flow instead of addressing issues. And again, this restaurant was barely half full and there were at least three waiters walking around. By the time our food showed up, it was far beyond lunch rush if there was even one to begin with. Do not go to this place. There is nothing here worth going through the effort for, unless if you want to waste two hours of your Sunday watching simple orders get messed up and noticing questionable management decisions. The best way to describe this place is the episode of Rick and Morty when they are in the Denny's (S3 E1). It was like an alternate dimension. The silverware was magnetic. The only accessible bathroom stall is the handicap one, all the doors in the regular stalls are so close to the toilets that you couldn't enter one. The decor was strange. Everything was metal and pastel, it felt like a low quality indie game or an early 2010's 3D animated children's show on Disney channel. read more

Actually this is the new IHOP and Applebees restaurant. The decor has been upgraded a bit, but nothing extraordinary. The menu for Applebees (lunch and dinner) looked about the same as before. The new addition is the breakfast menu. The prices are average. The descriptions didn't clarify that you do get a side with your omelet, etc. so that was confusing. The eggs Benedict regular was very salty. The omelet my friend had was fair in size, but you don't get toast and hash browns, it is one or the other (or pancakes). I was hoping for some new and exciting menu items and didn't really see that. Service was excellent and fast. If I was taking family out, I would take them other places in town that I know have better portions for the dollar and home made food. This was just okay. Not bad, just a hmmm feeling. read more

This was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant, for starters we thought we'd try the new ihop Applebee's combination got there after lunch rush had to wait 40 plus minutes for our food, a manager came out and said because we waited so long that we wouldn't have to pay for our food. We continued to wait and when the food did come out most of my meal was so cold it was inedible.. my wife's meal was warm but not very palatable. I doubt we will return unless something major changes . I ordered country fried steak and eggs.. for starters my eggs were prepared wrong I asked for Sunnyside up I got over medium my steak was barely warm there is almost no gravy on it pancakes were so cold they couldn't melt butter the same with my hash Browns. fix it read more

Nothing went well. The waitress wasn't the reason for a flop of a dinner. Mother's Day at 4;00. Thought we'd get in and out before it got busy. But we waited 1 1/2 hours to get our appetizers then 30 more minutes for the food. Absolutely unacceptable. The waitress apologized. And felt very bad. I will never eat at this or any Applebees ever again. We were only a party of 4. Do not go to this place!!! Won't call it a restaurant because it's so bad. Food was just plain, not good. First time I've ever walked out of a restaurant... We waited for over an hour after ordering for our meal, didn't even get our appetizers when people that had arrived after us were getting their meals. My friends and I went there to have dinner we ended up having the worse experience with this restaurant along with many others in the restaurant during our visit. We were there for 2 hours our waitress only came to see us 3 times the whole 2 hours it took over an hour to get our food. We asked for refills and our waiter rolled her eyes and she brought us drinks with no ice they were warm.. she finally brought or food out it was cold. She came back about five minutes later and said I will bring you boxes and you can leave and when we asked why she is making us leave all she said was ok.. she continued to throw the boxes on our table on top of our food. The to go girl was HORRENDOUS. She REEKED of cigarette smoke, told me that if my order was wrong it was the "greasy a** cooks fault because they f*** everything else up." Then I asked for extra napkins, this is when she decided to roll her eyes and walk away from me. Even though they were very understaffed we got amazing service from our waitress Ashley. We were very happy with our dinning experience.

If I could give a zero I would. Waited for 15 minutes for drinks, then another 10 minutes to place our order. After another 25 minutes we got half our order... other customers were walking out! For one of the few places to eat in Marshfield you would think that the food and service would be better. Server came to the table every half hour when our group had requests every time which would signal to them that we need to be frequented more often. Wings were soggy, there was a hair in the oreo shake, and the mac and cheese was loaded with tomatoes which was a weird choice. Waiter made a rude comment about one of us ordering more wings when we came specifically for the unlimited wings deal, I realize it could be annoying but it's what he paid for so it's what he should get. read more

The service was absolutely horrible, never did see the hostess, sat at a dirty table in Bar area, and they watched us move the dirty dishes to another dirty table and then the bartender came over and dropped menus in front of us and tried put silverware out when I had to ask her to wipe the table. The staff was standing around not even looking at the people walking in. We watched people leave that where not acknowledged. The staff seemed to be lost! It's a chain restaurant...what can I say. But it's good. Tends to be slow, so even though they have those fun lunch combos I try to avoid it for lunch -- can't make it back to work in my hour lunch hour!!! The long island ice teas here are great. read more

I'm protesting Applebee's. They completely got rid of their Wonton Tacos, that was one of the only reasons I actually went there. Also, they are very slow with bringing your food or filling up your drinks. Worse waitress ever. She spent more time sitting at a booth examining her watch than waiting on us. She forgot to come and take our order. She did offer to get my husband a refill but didn't bother to bring it back. When we did get out food we didn't see her again. We had all you can eat meals but obviously that didn't happen. She was socializing with the other staff at their own booth. I did see the manager, but he was too busy socializing with our waitress. We had to look for the waitress to ask for our bill. Once we left, I called the manager. He said he saw our frustration and wanted to see how it would play out. He sent us 2 free entrees but we will not be using them at that location. read more

Went back after years of boycotting this location. Won't be back ever again. Horrible service with overpriced mediocre food. This location is obviously poorly managed, and I say that because the staff would rather stand around and visit with each other and their visiting friends than provide good quick service. Our server obviously has not been properly trained and supervised. Our food arrived and we didn't have silverware. When she finally checked on us and we asked for silverware she went to the bar and waited for another tables drink order, took them their drinks and then brought us the silverware. Bottled beer is highly overpriced and the house Margarita was not drinkable due to being straight lime juice. The tables are sticky and wobbling and the booths are torn and dirty. Went there later at night by myself on a business trip. When sat I given a booth even though I was alone which was nice. My server was very friendly and fast. I got my order taken right away and food came out fast. I was also given a refill on my soda without having to ask. My family and I went to Applebees tonight for my 6yr olds birthday. Of course they sang to her which made her night, but I would like to acknowledge and give credit to Applebees for having excellent staff. From the moment we walked in with the super friendly girl who seated us, to our waiter who was very attentive and friendly, to the manager (I think his name might be Joe?) that personally came over and expressed to us how our satisfaction really matters and fixed an error with the food, it was an eye opening experience and will have us returning more frenquent than we have been.
