Fist off, I do not like it when a bartender calls me "baby". I'm old enough to be your grandfather....... I ordered a burger, medium with fries well done. The burger came out medium well and dry as a bone. Everything was just thrown on the plate. Very appertizing... When the bartender asked how everyone was, I just stated that it was OK. Well, if looks could kill. Hey, you asked. And speaking of staff, I have seen a better accumulation of people at a circus side show. You have one waitress that is the better part of 50 with blonde????hair hanging all the way to her butt. Nice on a 20 year old, not so much on her. Another with a blonde/brown boys haircut and a sleeve full of tats. I have nothing against tats, but in a business/resteraunt atmosphere the company should make them wear long sleeves. We eat at different Applebee's all over the country as we travel and have always had a good experience until this one. They got the appetizer order wrong first time around and took a long time to get it replaced. I am allergic to tomatoes and both my wife and I told our server that. But it came with tomatoes on it. When I said I could not eat it I was told I could pick them out. I had to insist they remake it. Meanwhile, my wife ordered a hamburger cooked medium and it was almost rare. When I stopped two different employees because our waiter never came back they said he would be back soon. After 10 more minutes we gave up and left. read more

I honestly love applebee's but I always ask for a specific server at this location due to bad service I have received in the past from others. Other than that My boyfriend and I love how The server Kayla treats us. She's quick, friendly and has absolutely the best service we could ask for. On the busiest nights I can see others have no refills or are waiting on drinks, But her section is always so well put together! + Manager also checks on us and is very friendly. read more

The food was bad, service was horrible. Got the chicken Alfredo and it came out fine, started to eat and found cardboard in it. Manager didn't even come to apologize or let alone offer a discount. Waitress felt very unfriendly and walked by and to our table at least 12 times and didn't ask us if we wanted refills. If I could leave 0 STARS! I would! When we arrived there wasn't many people in the restaurant but we still had to wait 10 mins, which I didn't mind at all. Once seated down our drinks took 25 mins to even get to us and when it came to the food it took over an hour to get to us. The waitress didn't inform us as to why our food was so late coming out and she barely came up to the table to see if we needed anything. The food was good it was just the service that was provided that wasn't so great. When it came down to pay it took another over 20 mins to even pay and leave the restaurant. I would not recommend! Today I said goodbye to my husband for the next nine months, being emotional I decided to grab some to-go with my dog. We pulled up to Curbside and immediately my food was brought out! The guy was very kind and ran back inside to grab my ice cream, so it wouldn't melt, and when he came back out he asked if my dog could have some bacon! I said yes and he went around the other side and fed my dog bacon! Our Curbside guy was so kind and amazing, he totally turned our crappy day around! It was a slow Sunday afternoon, and they weren't busy. I expected them to be short staffed. I did expect to at least be offered water in the first 15 minutes. But after 15 minutes no one came by despite everyone around us and the new couples coming in getting service. After 20 minutes of nothing we left. Worst food ever! We ordered via Carside Togo, so we didn't have to deal with the lines that are usually running out the front door. We have dined in a couple of times and the food then was subpar. However, this time, we quickly realized that this experience was one for the "Worst Ever" record books. My husband ordered the cheesy chicken penne and I ordered the 7 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. We got our food home and opened the containers to find dry, colorless food with an off-putting smell - yuck! We were both starving after a long day, so we choked down some of our meals and abandoned it. The hilarious part was when the chicken bits left over from my husband's meal was discovered by my cat. He too wasn't too pleased with his portion of the meal. He grabbed a bit of my husband's leftover chicken, dropped it back on the plate shaking his head and hit it a few times with his paw. He then proceeded to pick it up again and ran away, at which time we presumed he was going to eat it. We then discovered the little scrap of chicken sticking out of his litter box slightly covered in litter! EVEN MY CAT WOULDN'T EAT THIS "CRAP"! Never never never again! Never really got good service from Applebee's, but I'm literally area and thought I'd give it a try. I've been in there five times in the first couple of times was pleasant. The last couple of times I did not cook my steak correctly but the manager on duty gave me credit for that which was good. Was there the last time and I had to ask for a waiter to wait on me. She did OK but when I went to leave the computer had the wrong check in there and it was for the other table. So I had to grab another waitress to get my Rachel's to fix it this took 25 minutes, kind of pathetic! Then I had to ask again the same waitress to get my waitress so I could leave the bar, kind of ridiculous. Never seen the manager to see if I was doing OK and it wasn't that busy, never that busy every time I've been in there, but they keep screwing up. I could go on but you get my point. read more

Worst applebees experience ever. our server was friendly enough, but he basically ignored us the entire time we were there. we sat for ten minutes without a drink after our order was taken (this was at lunch) and we were about to leave when the appetizer we ordered came to the table. We ordered the pretzel sticks with cheese, which were amazing. Kim had q bacon cheeseburger and i had a jalepeno chicken chop salad. The food was excellent but the service was among the worst I've ever experienced. This place was awful. You truly cant judge a book by its cover, or a restaurant. Its nice, clean, and spacious inside. The service here sucks. The baked potatoes were sent out cold. The waitress offered to reheat it. Uhh definitely not. Refills had to be requested more than once without being filled. My Aunt specifically said she was allergic to Parmesan cheese and ordered the artichoke dip without it, and lucky her boyfriend noticed they put the Parmesan on it anyway. The chicken tenders for the kids were hard and dry. We ordered a to-go order with a sandwich and soup. We got a cold sandwich and the soup was missing. Good thing we checked the bag. The service was overall just poor and slow. My husband and I frequent the location in Lawrenceville, GA and have never had such a bad experience at Applebees. After waiting at the hostess stand, and looking around for anyone to help us, my friend and I were finally seated at a table. Before we sat down, I noticed that there were tiny BUGS crawling all over the table! We should've left at that point, but we wanted to stay for the $1 margaritas. When we got them, they looked just like water. It may have had a teaspoon of actual alcohol. I ordered an appetizer (half price happy hour). The chicken wonton tacos. Too disgusting to eat. I tried my friend's chips and spinach dip thinking no one could mess that up....but the chips were clearly cooked in RANCID grease. I ordered one more app trying to find something edible, but was again disappointed. This is only the second time I've visited this location, but to echo other reviews, the staff is clearly inexperienced or either unprofessional. Can't emphasize enough how bad this place is. Plenty of empty tables and booths, yet it took 15 minutes to get seated, with only two parties ahead of us, one had two people and the other had three. Another 5 minutes to get the waitress to take our drink order of water and sodas. Another 5 minutes to get them. Food was then ordered, after almost 60 minutes and no sight of our waitress, my wife went to track down our food, being told it would be right out, after another 5 minutes it's being brought out. We are a party of 4 adults and 3 kids, one order was wrong, and two didn't show up. The manager came out and appoligized, I guess he felt that was significant he offered nothing as compensation. He came back later and asked how the food was, showed him that my wife's potato soup was uneaten after a couple of bites, the one thing he did do was take that off our bill. We then ordered the kids milkshakes, the waitress put in the order and came back and said, the shakes are being made now, they are the top priority, 20 minutes later, my wife and daughter go to find out where the shakes are, after a couple of minutes, they come back to the table with them. This is absolutely the worse service I have ever had in my life (and I'm old), from the host sitting us to the waitress to the manager, horrible, horrible horrible. When we dine out we always tip in cash, often the wait staff will come back and ask if we meant to leave as large a tip as we did, the waitress at Applebee's didn't have to do that. Typical Applebee's restaurant. Conviently located off of I-95 and near a group of hotel if you are on a road trip. I went there on a friday night since I was feeling extremely lazy and just wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. I was by myself so I found a seat at the bar. Service was good the bartender came up and asked my what I wanted to drink while I was looking over the menu. After looking over the menu i decided to get the Honey pepper steak. It came out quickly and was pretty good. I came over a bed for fried red potatoes with deep fried onion string and jalopenoes on top of it with there honey pepper sauce which in my opinion is more honey than pepper. Overall it was a pretty good meal at a resonable price. read more

This place was the worst. We arrived at around 9pm and the host told us he couldn't seat us and several others because the kitchen was very behind. There were several empty tables. We asked to see manager and host told us that the manager was cooking. We finally get manager and she was annoyed and sarcastically told us to sit whenever we please. We got served waters (server was very nice) and put in our orders for salads. That's about as far as it went. People around us were getting incorrect orders and unappetizing food so we cancelled order and just left. We had gift cards for there and after this terrible experience, we will likely never use them. read more

Well, it's Applebee's and we didn't expect much. Just spent 8 hours on I95, and our hotel was next door. Ordered the boneless chicken bites as an app. Hubby had tomato basil soup, riblet dinner, and I had lime chicken. Knew we were in trouble when I ordered coffee. The waiter brought the cup but said they were out of half and half and creamer. I asked for milk but was told there would be a charge for it . The appetizer, soup and dinners all came out together, no silverware. Out of baked Potatoes? Food was fair, super salty. Service was pleasant but she was clearly not well trained. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and had to return it because the cheese was still cold as well as the contents. The shrimp alfredo tasted like runny dishwater and the Perfect Margarita that is supposed to serve 2 1/2 glasses only served 1/2 glass. These experiences happened individually but with each visit. Management screams at their servers in public which belittles them, very unprofessional. On our last visit,​ we did see a few roaches​, I'm going to assume it's because it's hot outside. Applebee's is up the street from my home, therefore,​ I continue to give them another chance. I'm a great tipper and appreciative​ guest. I went in with my family of 5 the place was empty beside 2 couples they tried to seat us at the front right by the salad bar. I request to sit a bit further away and you might of thought I was asking to much being no one was in the place. A group of waiters were in a corner complaining about everything under the sun. Let's get right into it. The food is your basic salty affordable chain style food. It's not terrible it's not fantastic...it's food on a budget. Our food arrived in a not so timely fashion and our utensils arrived about 15 minutes later. That's no exaggeration. I luckily had a burger and fries, but my wife and son needed utensils for their meal. When they got them, my food was finished. So then I sat without any napkins to wipe my fingers. The napkins and utensils showed up together eventually and the rest of the dinner went uneventful. We saw our waitress maybe twice during our meal. One when we got our food and the other when the napkins and utensils arrived. After another 15 minute window we got our check as she asked if we wanted dessert. Half-assed, mediocre service and marginal food. Brought the family here because of its next door proximity to our hotel. Arrived at 9:30 on a Friday night. No one in front of us. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Three different hosts came by to inform us, " someone will be right with you". Mind you, my wife was standing there with a cane...when we asked for a booth, we had to wait another five minutes so one could be cleaned. After finally getting our table, we were anxious to order after reviewing the menus which had a lot of tantalizing options. The excitement ended, however, when the food came out. It looked nothing like in the menu. I had the apple chutney pork chop, which actually wasn't bad tasting despite being too tough, but the puréed sweet potatoes and green beans that accompanied it were straight from a microwave. Bland, soulless food. My wife's chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese was depressing to look at. I could have made it better myself with some Kraft Mac and cheese and a few chicken strips from Popeyes. Looked like cafeteria food. My daughter's corn dog was still partially frozen in the center. When we requested a new one be brought out, it took well over 15 minutes. By the time it came out we had all finished eating and my daughter was full from sharing food off of our dishes. My Manhattan was watered down and had no garnish. No staff offered to comp us or offer a discount on the check. Amateur hour at Applebee's! I'll never eat at this, or any other Applebee's again. First and foremost I will admit I'm not a huge chain restaurant fan but came here with a group so had to go with the flow. Those prejudices have nothing to do with this review because those specifically deal with food quality which wasn't an issue. What were the issues is unfortunately a long list. We were seated and the forgotten about for 15 minuets. Then the waitress comes to take our order and we remind her we haven't even received menus yet. A few of the guys ordered a popular beer they where out of. No big deal they ordered another kind. 15 minuets later she returms to take our food order. The lady does a great job of up selling the half price appetizers which may have been the only thing she did well all night. Then the REAL wait starts. In between the 40 minuets of waiting for the food we had one guy ask for a diet cook refill 4 times before receiving it, the beers guys order another round be told they are now out of that brand too, and when the food does come they left off my order entirely. There was 8 people in our party not 20. There may have been 25 people on the place with most of the rest sitting at the bar. Fortunately, with the exception of my food coming out 20 minuets after everyone else's, no one had major complaints about the food itself. Long story short this place did not do much in the way of making me turn the corner on chains and this place has to go through a lot of changes before I step foot in it again. read more

Pretty standard for an Applebees but my food was little off. It was a rest stop for me on a roadtrip and we stopped for dinner. I order a sirlion steak over some grains and spinach. The grains and spinach were delicious, the steak was beyond well done but they quickly ordered up another one. I'm not sure if I was biased from seeing the first one but the steak was just ok or a little less. Friendly service for the most part. Ok food. Clean bathrooms. Good for its purpose of stretching legs and getting some food, but I may consider some of the other restaurants on the exit. read more
