Staff was nice and welcoming. My man and I went for Sunday Brunch and arrived around 10:30. No wait, it was raining so we sat inside, but still a great view over the Savannah River. He ordered an omelette with fruit and biscuit. I ordered the Don Juan to drink, and the shrimp and grits. Food was fast, fresh, hot, and full of flavor!

This place is a must try. The nest is nestled on the top floor of a hotel in downtown Savannah. We had a large party, but they were able to accommodate us without an issue or reservation. The hostess and the servers were absolutely amazing and patient with us as we were patient with them. My group shared some appetizers. I loved the spinach artichoke dip with the bread the most. For my entrée, I had the crabcake sliders, which was so good. My friend had the burger, sliders and the fettuccine dishes and they also thought it was really good. This was my first time going and it was great. I would definitely come back again.

Our group of friends had a great time at The Nest. We originally chose it because of the atmosphere and the photos we saw online, and we were specifically looking for a rooftop restaurant with outdoor seating. It ended up being the perfect choice! The view from the rooftop was beautiful. We spent the afternoon watching boats and ships pass by while enjoying the gorgeous day on the river. The staff was very kind and even offered to take a group photo for us, which was such a nice touch. Most of our group ordered the wedge salad, and they all said it was great. I decided on the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. My favorite part, though, was the Dragon Berry Mojito. It was not only eye-catching but also incredibly refreshing and tasty. If you're looking for a fun rooftop spot with great views and good food in Savannah, this is definitely worth checking out!

Breakfast at The Nest with its nice views of the river and bridge, was incredibly satisfying and wholesome for our party of 4. The avocado toasts were vegan-tweaked to our taste, and the fresh veggie omelettes were delicious and filling. Our server was friendly, attentive and efficient making it a memorable experience :)

Another day, another rooftop. This one is at Cotton Sail Hotel. We had a wonderful lunch there and cocktails. We shared their tasty crab dip. We both had the slider trio with truffle fries. My only regret with the truffles fries was I couldn't eat them all. I had the burger, fried chicken and pulled pork slider combo. The pulled pork was my favorite. Our server was expeditious. The views of the river were entertaining alternating with scenic.

This was a beautiful experience. The view was amazing. The inside feels like you have stepped into a venue to be shared with others. At the same time it's intimate. The service is on par with the environment. The food... I have to admit that when I make modifications to a dish, it sometimes impacts its integrity. This did not happen. When I asked for no gravy or cheese on the grits, you could taste how well seasoned the food was. It was an absolutely delicious dish. I would go back for the service, the ambiance and the food!

You should probably run to the Nest! It will be one of the best things you do in Savannah! Travis took care of us while there and he was wonderful. My best friend had a gluten allergy and he made sure that was taken care of. He brought us sliders wrapped in lettuce and spinach dip. That dip (and the bread it came with---lucky for me!!) were out of this world. I may have put some on my slider. Oops! He brought us cocktails based on what we said we loved. Em had a special of the week (chocolate covered strawberry martini) and I had the dragon berry mojito as the first round. Both were amazing. Then we had the El chapo and the lavender fizz as our second round. Travis clearly picked up that one of us was sweet and the other spicy. All of the drinks were so pretty and delicious. We were glad to get up to the Nest when it wasn't raining to enjoy the views. However inside is super nice as well. It's a beautiful bar. The food and drinks are great. The service is wonderful. Put it on your list!

I do want to start off by saying the food was great and the drinks were very good. I got their version of Shrimp and Grits - which had grit cakes instead of traditional grits and bacon gravy to top it off, delicious. My mom had Belgian waffles, and my husband had the breakfast casserole. Both seemed to enjoy their food as well. What we were disappointed in was the very slow inattentive service, and lack of food options at 1:00 in the afternoon. We were told we could ONLY order from the breakfast menu when we came for Lunch, but that the lunch and dinner menus were only served after 3:00 pm?? I'm confused on their definition of "lunch", it really was disappointing and we had to change our order immediately upon being told that we couldn't order what we wanted. The only "lunch" option was the Mother's Day special that was $50 and we didn't want that, my very food specific mother wanted sliders and had to settle for waffles. It just felt a lot to be desired when the lunch options aren't served AT LUNCH TIME. And it took forever to get our server to get anything, we had to ask other servers around us for water and to go boxes. The decor is lovely and drinks were so good that we will be back for a cocktail but i don't know that I'll sit down again for another meal.

First impressions, I really like the greenery on the walls. They could still go way out with that and make it more. Our server was attentive, food was speedy. Beer options are limited, but there are specialized cocktails i haven't seen before so thats nice. Prices are more on the higher side for drinks. They have a decent menu for breakfast which im sad to say we missed. Lunch and dinner options were on the smaller side. We settled for the Classic Sliders. The Nest made up for limited choices with the taste of the food. Very happy & thoroughly enjoyed our meal! 2 sliders were very filling. End result I would come back to try out the breakfast options and the pasta.

I took myself on a Saturday brunch date a few weeks ago and it was really nice. They have some of the best rooftop views. The Smores martini was really good and so was my bowl. Unfortunately, they were only serving breakfast and not brunch but overall it was good. Definitely one of my go to downtown spo

I really enjoyed this rooftop bar! I got a bud light and the key like cheesecake...I will say it's kinda hard to find. I saw signs for "top deck" I had to ask 3 people how to find it....walk into the door that saw top deck then go to the 6th floor. The Nest is before "top deck"

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

Talk about a frustrating restaurant to find!…read more We were walking along the boardwalk, and I was in the mood for sushi. Naturally, I pulled up Yelp and found this place, which had great reviews. We decided to venture away from the area we had been exploring and walked across the street, only to find ourselves staring at a Chinese restaurant with absolutely no indication of where the sushi restaurant was located. We walked all the way to the right thinking we must have missed it, but still nothing. Then, almost by accident, we looked down an alleyway and there it was--hidden in plain sight. By this point, I was extremely hungry and definitely not in the mood for a game of hide-and-seek. After climbing a flight of stairs, we entered a very dark and intimate space with a small bar area. We usually prefer sitting at the bar, but there weren't any available seats, so the hostess seated us at a tiny round table that felt more like something you'd find in a café. The atmosphere was definitely giving romantic date-night vibes. We ordered two specialty sushi rolls. One was a mango roll, and the other had me sold the moment I saw the word truffle as a special. The truffle roll was easily my favorite, although both were delicious. I also ordered a passion fruit cocktail, which I'd rate a solid 9 out of 10. I don't normally go for sweet drinks, but when on Rome, why not? This was not overly sweet but still one and done for me. Since we were only in town for one night and wanted to experience as many places as possible, we stuck with the two rolls and drinks before heading back out to continue exploring. Overall, this place is incredibly cute, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. My only complaint is how difficult it was to find. If you're starving like I was, wandering around searching for the entrance might test your patience. Once you finally find it, though, it's worth the effort.
