I went to the Pendant Terrace for brunch this last weekend and really enjoyed it! They have a beautiful rooftop view of city hall and the river. I really love that they've covered the walls with jasmine. It was so pretty and smelled amazing. The service was great! Our waitress was super helpful suggesting items for us and she was really sweet. The food was very good. I feel like they had great options and both me and my husband enjoyed it!

Pendant is the last rooftop bar I made it to in Savannah. They are always closed for a private event, so I was so exited to go for the first time! I had a bunch of friends meet me out for drinks for my birthday. There was another birthday party out, along with several other patrons enjoying smaller groups or couples. Even saw a golden retriever there! It was so easy for people to come and go. Large indoor and outdoor spaces so it's still enjoyable even if the weather isn't. I was a bit too short to see much of the view over the wall. I can't wait to go back I enjoyed the coconut rum cocktail and a few glasses of rose. The menu is priced in line with other rooftop bars in Savannah. Only a few food selections on the menu but I wasn't expecting a full sit down restaurant menu.

    Not a Blackberry Mojito!

I asked for a blackberry mojito. The bartender told me he needed to look in the back for the blackberry mix. I told him it was okay to just do a regular mojito if he wanted. He made me some drink with tequila and bloody mary mix. When he gave me my drink I asked him if this was a mojito (knowing it's not) and he said yes in a rude way. I then had to pay $18 for something I didn't order. Anyways, the drink was fine because I like tequila but I will not be coming back.

Some of the seating arrangements aren't covered so we opted for dining inside instead. The brunch provided a sharing board, entree, dessert tower, and optional add on unlimited mimosas. I wanted to do the Bellini initially however, they didn't have an unlimited option. There was live singing as well during the brunch hours. This is the perfect spot to have brunch when you're in Savannah!

While most of the rooftops are regularly accessible to the public, there's something about Myrtle & Rose which has caused it to elude us. Often, it has been closed for a private party, or perhaps it was full. In any case, we finally were carded and sent up the elevator with the slightly aggressive doors. Yes, they close fast. Keep a move on! We were offered a table overlooking the river and served by Will. My wife enjoyed her Amber Hour, and I an old fashioned. I suppose they don't want us getting tipsy and falling off, since my drink may have had 2 or 3 ounces. A good little taste, but not for long for this Wisconsin boy. Let's not go down the road of it being a "real" old fashioned -- I know and enjoy both kinds. (You must when you also own a distillery.) The two shining points of the evening were the view and our server. This spot offers a nice, close-up view of the river from both directions -- perfect for the occasional ships passing in the night. Our server, Will, was very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. By the end of the 50° night, Will had brought a blanket for my wife. While we can handle below-zero temps at home, there's something about 50° on vacation that gives us the shivers. Perhaps it was the dress -- I'm not sure, since I wasn't the one wearing it tonight. Anywho, finally a great experience was had at this well-done rooftop bar.

You get to customize your soup options with everything from broth, noodles, protein and toppings. And they had something for everyone and were able to accommodate my very specific food preferences and my boyfriend who eats anything. Anthia took the time to add all my allergy concerns into the ticket and helped us through the ordering process as it was my first time here. She was great, and at the ready with refills for our soft drink. The food itself was delicious. We did the edamame and two build your own ramen bowls. My fried tofu was the perfect texture and didn't get soggy sitting in the broth. The flavors were good and they had extra spices available if you wanted to amp up the flavor a little more. Would definitely go again. They do have a bit of a "nerdy" atmosphere with anime on the TVs and some trading cards available. And it gives the street market kind of vibe with the seating. They are an order at the counter establishment, so nice and casual.

The following review: Service - An employee by the name of Colin, who helped me at the register and take my order was very friendly, welcoming, and very patient with me. He was able to explain things to me on the menu while I was trying to decide on things. Food - I ordered, a bowl of rice, gyoza, chicken karaage, a tonkatsu ramen with char siu. Everything was well cooked, tasted great, the gyoza and chicken was nice hot and crispy. Ambiance - I'm not really an anime person but I appreciate the overall idea and concept. I thought it was pretty cool with the Batman at the front and Pokemon cards for sale.

The servers are helpful describing the dishes and suggesting wine pairings for the dishes. Many of the dishes are made for sharing which we did with all of ours. We started with the Hunter Pork Terrine with pickles and salad and the Snapper Crudo which were both unique and tasty and paired well with a Sangiovese that was suggested. Next we had a lovely Gnudi in a mushroom Ragu that was the winner of the night - delicious! Our final course was a medium-rare Hunter Flat Iron Steak cooked in tallow and seasoned to perfection. We then shared a Panacotta topped with sea salt caramel which was the perfect ending to a great meal. Definitely a place to try when in Savannah!

The atmosphere was amazing, the crowd was super cool, and having live music made everything even more lively and enjoyable. It felt like one of those places where everyone is there to have a good time. The drinks were definitely the highlight for me. They were serving $6 caipirinhas, which was such a great surprise, and they were actually really good! I also had a Tropicalia, which was perfect for the vibe and the weather. A few things could make the experience even better, especially during big games or events. I think the place would really benefit from having more TVs. Right now they only have two smaller televisions, and once the crowd gets bigger it becomes hard for everyone to see the game comfortably. Also, since most people were outside watching, a few fans would make a huge difference because the heat got pretty intense after a while. As for the food, it was okay and definitely did the job if you're hungry, but I wouldn't say it's their strongest point. The burger was fine, and the fries just weren't really my favorite. Overall though, we had a great time and would absolutely come back for drinks, live music, and the atmosphere during game nights!
