The pros: The bartender was very nice and the garlic broccoli was good. The cons: The guy that brought my plate just slide it in front of me as if he didn't want to be at work. I was about to say something but immediately looked at a steak drenched in cheese. Then I noticed that instead of garlic potatoes I had string beans. None the less I tried to eat it. While eating the beans first I noticed red juice under them. In my head, I knew it was from the steak but said I hope not because I ordered it medium well. The juice was also under the broccoli and I figured it's coming from the steak. Then I tried this cheese covered steak and my goodness it was definitely cooked medium rare. I took two bites and just couldn't do it. The taste was horrible. I didn't complain, I simply paid for my food, tipped the bartender and ordered a combo meal at ChicFilA across the street. The only thing that was descent was the service! I am not one of those individuals who only make complaints. I tip well, and I give credit where credit is due on Yelp and express gratitude for value & service. However my experience with the Stockbridge, Georgia location this evening is completely unacceptable. I am doing my best to try to support the local economy in Henry County, but this lack of value is not going to cut it. I spent over $60 for dinner for three, and the two of us who ordered Bourbon St. Steaks are nowhere near full, and we aren't even hefty eaters!!! I wanted a burger, and I haven't been here in over a year. I sat at the bar, and the others there seemed to know each other!! ie regulars. I was welcomed, and it was super relaxed. My food took a while to come. But it was delicious. I ordered the half rack ribs since it was the Thursday special , with garlic mash and an extra side - broccoli. The ribs were a little dry in some spots but still fell off the bone. The sides were tasty and well seasoned. My only complaint was the small ramekin of broccoli. Veggies are not plentiful like everything else. I couldn't resist only paying 2.99 for the house margarita. It was delicious! Not strong but just what I needed. Although there's police there on the weekend. Someone broke into two cars causing damage to the windows (pulled them out the frame ) and caused bodily damage (scratches and dings). The food and drinks aren't worth paying your insurance deductible or out of pocket expense. This location isn't safe for patrons. Reached out to the restaurants area director who offered an apology but no help in repairing my car.. Stating their insurance doesn't cover incidents of this nature. Didn't even offer a discount on my next meal, a free meal or drink. Absolutely nothing in an attempt to offer to make me even partially whole. This wasn't the objective but a gesture of empathy for an incident on your property would've showed more care. I'm posting this so other patrons are aware. This happened 10/19/24. I parked 3-4 cars away from the police officer, virtually in front of the building across the parking lot, when I arrived and this incident happened between the time he (police officer) departed and the restaurant's closing. This area is not safe from vandalism. Just imagine someone as brazen as this. If I'd walked out in the middle of his crime. My family would be making this post instead of me. Went here on Saturday (4/12/25). Will never be back. The restaurant is dirty, bathrooms are dirty (pubic hair everywhere). Me and my wife ordered the 2 for 25 sirloin deal. They over cooked my wife's steak. I asked to take it off the bill because she doesn't like to send food back. She says they will mess with the refires. I asked to take it off the bill. The manager removed it off the bill and the bill went up $2. $42 for a steak dinner and a kids meal. It was $40 before "she" took the other steak meal (that they messed up) off the bill. I asked how you going to charge us more money for less food, when you made the mistake not me. The MAN looking female manager said that's all they could do. So I paid and will never return. 11/17/24 Me, my brother and boyfriend went to Applebee's to honor our mom on for her birthday we ordered the 2 for $28 meals. (I know the food isn't great but my mom liked it) we all got the steak with garlic mash my brother and my boyfriend both got coleslaw instead of broccoli while my was chewing on the coleslaw I KID U NOT he bite down on a hard object that nearly broke his tooth and when he took it out of his mouth it was a FREAKING tooth . Cold the hostess over she was closer to us she went and got our server who was mortified along with us she got the manager who could seriously careless and I quote "said no one is missing a tooth in the kitchen" . She took the tooth from our table and offered and serving of coleslaw We passed on that! Left without eating our food took it to homeless guy in the neighborhood and warned him about what we experienced. The manager didn't offer to compensate In anyway like take anything off the bill. She was a Black female, and she had her picks of who she served as if she was only serving people familiar to her. I catch servers doing this to me because I am a Black man and there's a stereotype that we do not tip which is false. I have worked in the service industry. A tip/gratuity is earned, not entitled. I filed on online complaint and received a call from management. They confirmed what I stated on surveillance video and offered me the equivalent of a happy meal. If I could give zero stars, I would! As a young black couple it's hard enough to eat anywhere without being judged. The past three times my significant other and I have came into this establishment we have been sat before other tables,yet, greeted and served after them. This is truly unacceptable! One of the servers even said to me " they were probably just scared they weren't gonna get a tip", I responded "well now they definitely aren't getting a tip by not greeting us or taking out order." Came here for a friend's birthday. There were 7 of us but the wait time was 45 minutes long. Sure I was fine, because covid and maybe there's a reservation. So we all went to wait outside near our cars. When we do finally get seated, it was next to our cars. The thing is, while we were at our car we did not see anyone at this table the whole time. Then when we got seated, the waitress took a very long time to tend to our group. When she finally came by, she said that she will take care of the two smaller tables first (that were seated after us) so she can focus on our orders and avoid messing it up. She finally takes our orders. Food comes out about 40 minutes later. Not together, so part of the group got their food first. Then half of the orders were incorrect. We have a friend who always points to what he is ordering so there is no confusion, but it was still messed up. What was supposed to be a normal maybe hour and half dinner, turned into almost 3 hours of waiting. When it came time to pay she told one of us that their card is not accepted (Visa bank of America) after she swiped it. She didnt give him back the decline receipt. She said it never went through but it showed up on his card immediately. So both of his cards got charged. We went back in and it took 2 different managers to get his money back on the "declined" card. read more

The waitress informed me that I could wait another 30 mins or not for them to make my order. I then ask what will the manager do to make the situation better. The manager told the waitress to tell me to GO F*** off basically. I could wait or not. The restaurant was not even busy. As a manager your attitude has to be on par and it was not. I will never return to this location. Went for husband birthday. Order an classic combo, wings were Cajun which asked for mild didn't complain just ask for mild sauce. I went inside my food was already ready and the young lady working Curbside Togo was just standing there with no jacket on. FYI it's 45 degrees so she had no plans to bring anyone's food the their cars. So after I finally get my food it was cold. I get home my bacon is missing off my bacon cheese burger. We enter first and had to wait 8 mins for a receptionist to come, turns out they are understaffed and he is having to bust tables. Our waitress was good but I felt as though she knew it would be a crappy night for us. THE FOOD, well let's say it looked like a teenager was cooking it. It did not seem to look tantalizing at all. My Loaded trio fajitas looked dry, had no seasoned juiciness flavor. My wife's Bourbon chicken and mashed potatoes looked as if they were scoped out off a bowl and warmed up in the Microwave . The vibe was dull and this came from the employees. With all the choices of other restaurants I could have choose from we gave this place another chance, that's right another chance. Came here previously last year and experienced the same thing. It's like they are cutting back and hope you don't notice. 's or the franchise owner must see the low score this place constantly gets from reviews but they have not in my eyes choose to do a permanent fix. But here's the good new if you like Apple B's. It seems to just be this location. There is another one in McDonough that's way better. This location has lowed it's standard to loose the covenant restaurant badge to a fast food place. When I go to Apple Bees , I normally go to this one & last time I went, I was very dissatisfied. I normally order chicken tenders w/ honey mustard and my drink would either be a sweet tea or Oreo shake. So this is why I'm giving it 2 stars . For 1 , I ordered a Oreo shake and when I said that, the lady said they don't serve it ... which is funny cause it's ON THE MENU! So I told her, yes y'all do , it's right here on the menu and she was shocked when I pointed it all and she said " I'll have to check in with the bar about that." So as she clicking on the screen and stuff as I told her I'm paying with my card , she gave me a tip screen with it being 20% & asked " is this okay?" , and I grabbed it, put %0 and clicked NEXT and said " here you go " . This was a so so experience. As far as the ambiance goes, well, it's Applebees. That being said, it seemed uncharacteristically mundane. The staff didn't seem all that enthused to be working. They weren't mean or rude; they just lacked that positive attitude that servers normally possess. The food was blah. I had the shrimp and bourbon chicken. Potatoes were the included side item. The potatoes were over cooked. The chicken was a little tough and the onions weren't properly caramelized. The presentation was sloppy and our beverages were never refilled. This location seems to be hit or miss. About 75% of the time it's great service. The other 25% seems to be slow or not the best service. Sometimes the music is way too loud. It is clean and the food is generally good but they have gotten my order wrong on a few occasions. I generally order to go and my food is always ready when I get there. The biggest issue with picking up a to go order is that you have to wait at the bar to be acknowledged and sometimes it is hard to get the bartenders attention. There needs to be a designated area to pick up to go orders. I have to tried the to go option where they bring it out to you but that is also slow. The menu is good with many options, including healthy options. I typically get the chicken tenders and fries. I loved the sweet potato fries but they recently got rid of them. read more

I should have known immediately to leave, but I stuck it out for a few more minutes and finally someone came to seat me, asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, I declined and asked to seat at either a hitop table or a booth. Hostess sat me at a high top table next to the hostess stand. Waited 15 min with the hostess right there and no one came to the table and she saw me get up and walk out. Worst service ever!! I travel 50 weeks out of the year and it's not uncommon for me to eat at the same restaurant every night, many times I eat at an Applebee's if it's close to the hotel.
