I am so glad I finally made it to this establishment. I definitely will be patronizing here a lot more often. I got the jumbo fried shrimp and they were seasoned so good. The customer service was a little slow, but you know I'm OK with that as long as everything else was on point, so the food was great the drinks she made me a green apple lemon drop martini and it was so good And the atmosphere overall was very clean and spacious and updated. I went to 404 Sports Bar to celebrate Founders' day with my line sisters and other sorority sisters. It is located in the plaza within Southlake Mall and for some reason my GPS (Waze) took me to the incorrect side at first. If you are not familiar, the best way to find the correct side for the bar is to look for the mall entrance on the side that faces the Chevron gas station, Beauty Master and $3 cafe across the street. Because there was an expectation of several people to visit, I made my own reservation to guarantee seating and it was honored. Upon arrival, we were seated in moments by the hostess. Our server was attentive and checked on us continuously even as it got later in the night and busy. Some people in my party ordered cocktails and others ordered a hookah (I did not) and it took a while for that to come out. I ordered a sprite and it came out quickly. They had a djay playing music that included a mix of old and new rap and r&b hits with a little soca moment with line dances such as the Flex, Tamia - I can't get enough, & Jerusalema! I danced a little during the line dances! For an entree, I opted for the salmon dinner with double crispy brussels sprouts. It was flavorful and I ended up taking it to go so I could eat it for lunch the next day. There was a 15% gratuity added to my order and I added a little extra to it. First and last visit. We were kindly greeted by the host and promptly seated, but quickly realized the DJ was extremely loud, so we decided to move to the bar. We sat there for about 15 minutes and were never greeted, not even asked what we'd like to drink or if we were ready to order. It wasn't busy, and there were two servers visibly behind the bar: one gentleman going back and forth tending to a nearby couple's hookah, and a young lady who never once made it down to our side. There were only about eight of us at the bar, so there's really no excuse. Piss-poor service and zero customer service skills. I wouldn't bother coming back. Free BBQ night when I went, can't really rate that it was more fatty than meaty. Placed a food order that never got put in or wasn't delivered, a drink order placed three times machine was down, so we still had to wait for all drinks to be delivered at one time... mine wasn't even frozen one person making drinks couldn't handle all orders she was feeling good herself. Ashley L was the ONLY server working when we arrived around 5:20 on 10/8. She was managing the bar area, the outside guests and all inside guests. She explained to us she was by herself and we could sit wherever we wanted. We chose outside. Ashley did a phenomenal job of working that restaurant alone. Now to the food: I ordered salmon bites and a grilled chicken Cobb. My wife ordered the crab fingers and chicken pasta Alfredo Salmon bites: 8.5/10 Cobb salad 8/10 (didn't care for that mix of lettuce) Crab fingers: 6/10 Chicken Alfredo pasta: 6/10 (unseasoned/pasta overcooked) Can't say enough that Ashley L was the best server I've seen in a very long time. A few of homegirls and I decided to come here for a lunch date and we had such a good time! Located near the main entrance of the mall on the Mt. Zion Rd side, there's plenty of free parking and while the restaurant is at the mall, there is a separate entrance so you don't have to go inside the mall. There was plenty of signage so I knew exactly where to go when I arrived. We arrived a little after 12:30 and when I walked in I was pretty happy that it wasn't super busy. We were greeted by this super sweet young lady and she took us right on to a table. There is a huge bar area where you can hang and grab a drink along with lots of tvs so you won't miss a game, a fight, or anything else happening on one of the sports networks shown. There is a huge patio style area that's covered and there's a lounge area in the back where you can just chill out. She handed us drink menus and us know that we would need to scan the QR code for the acutal food menu. I kept it simple and ordered a sweet tea (delicious by the way) and grabbed a souhtlake house salad for $12 which came with romaine lettuce, dried cranberries, red grapes, diced apples, walnuts, pieces of bacon, and cheeseI added a piece of grilled chicken which I think was an extra $7. The food came pretty quick and I must say it was a pretty tasty salad. I do think the price was a little high especially with a 20% gratuity already added to the bill. Our waitress took really good care of us and the ladies I was with all said their food was delicious. I did place a to go order for some chicken tenders and fries for my husband and he said they were pretty tasty. This was our first time checking out this restaurant. It was cute inside very clean. There were a few people there which I was surprised during this time of day but it looked like it might be about to get busy because it's the weekend and it's already in the afternoon time. We ended up getting wings a 24-piece which was about $30, egg rolls and sweet potato fries. Everything was okay it was very basic it was decent. The wings were super tiny and I'm not wanting to want really big wings however I would like a decent size especially for the amount that we paid for the wings but they were okay taste-wise. The sweet potato fries were decent no complaints there at all. Now when it comes to the egg rolls they were basic and edible however I had a piece of lint or hair or something on one of my egg rolls so after I saw that I didn't want him anymore. I did notify my server that there was a piece of lint or something on my food which I ended up spending it back out. She did come over to the table and take it however did not take the rest of the plate away or offer any type of discount or anything to apologize for the inconvenience. Or offer something else she asked my husband if he wanted to keep the rest of the egg rolls. we also had lemonade and tea which was also plain I'm assuming it was from the fountain I've had better. It was okay for just a quick bite to eat but it's not somewhere that I would plan out to go. Our bill came to about $64. But what I will say despite my three star review and my comments about everything being just okay I would go back if I was over there and I wanted something to eat. Stopped in for a quick meet up with a friend because it was equal distance from the both of us. Easy and plentiful parking since this spot is attached to Southlake Mall. We were able to catch the mid day lunch specials, which was cool and budget friendly. I enjoyed the egg rolls and my friend had the salmon sliders. I was able to get a few fries from my friend and they are officially on my list of TOP FRIES IN THE CITY! They have the crisp & crunch factor that I love! Food was served quickly, but there was also little to no wait or crowd during this week day at lunch time. The ambiance was very much lounge like. We were given a drink menu, but we had to scan for the food. They had plenty of food options which included your typical bar food. We settled on a veggie flatbread and fried pickles. To drink, I got the 404 Margarita and he got the That's A Homerun plus 2 waters. While we waited we watched some of the sports of the many televisions they had and made small talk. There was also a table of 2 smoking hookah. I didn't see it on the menu and I didn't inquire. Drinks came first. That's A Homerun had a whole presentation, inside an old fashioned. I enjoyed my drink, he liked his but it was just ok to me. Next came the fried pickles which I was skeptical about bc they were large and lacked a good color. They weren't the best, but they definitely tasted better than they looked. The veggie flatbread came and they put the veggies first then topped with cheese. It was definitely fresh out the oven and I could've done without the balsamic glaze. Overall it was a cool experience. Went here with my nephew last night for dinner. I was slightly apprehensive at first but this place was A-ok with me. It wasn't too busy, a few guests at the bar. Lots of TVs and plenty of seating (booths, high tops, bar seating). We sat at a high top table and our server was Amber. She was pleasant...was attentive but didn't bug us. My nephew ordered a burger which he said was good. I was very hesitant about ordering the salmon sliders. My nephew had said they were good but I'm thinking 18-19 bucks for "sliders"?! However, I tried it anyways (comes with fries and I opted for sweet potato fries). It was actually a nice size filet that they split. It wasn't overcooked (another fear of mine) and had good flavor. My sweet potato fries on the other hand...not so great. Not worth me sending them back but waaay undercooked. I also don't like mine sprinkled with more sweetness (cinnamon or brown sugar) but that's just a preference thing. There are drinks (duh) and hookahs. Cigars as well. The manager or owner also popped by our table which was nice. Volume wasn't too loud for what I would expect at a sports bar. Very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and organized. No attitudes from workers (thank goodness). I suppose I would really give them 4.5 stars but it is just a pet peeve of mine for gratuity to be adding. In my mind, if you have to auto grat you're appealing to the wrong crowd but I guess that's kinda selfish to save. I get protecting the workers but ugh...I know I typically tip 20% minimum for normal service but seeing that added to my bill really grinds my gears. Anyhoo, great spot. It's new and clean, it's inside the old ruby Tuesdays at Southlake mall. They have a one step up stage for music, a smoking room and a lot of TVs A hostess will seat you and give you a menu. But the menu is only for drinks, you have to take a picture of the code to get to their food menu. Why even have a menu at all just do the whole thing from your phone don't split it I'm not a fan of that. If your going to give me a menu, give me a full menu. A few good things but not a huge selection. The staff was nice and pleasant, came and checked on us three times. But they do something that I absolutely hate they added gratuity on the bill But that only ended up hurting the staff because I was going to give them a $10 tip. We stayed at a local motel on our way to Florida so went to 404 because it was close. It looked ok on the outside. We were seated immediately and waited 5 minutes for our server. It was not very busy. We waited another 5 minutes after ordering a beer and seltzer drink. When we were served she asked what we wanted to order but had No menus? She came with menus and left. She didn't return until our drinks were gone (another 10 minutes). Now it had been 25 minutes since being seated. I asked for our check and waited another 5 minutes. Since the tip is automatically added I asked for my change and after another 5 minutes I got my change and left. I'll never return. It was obvious the employees knew customers already there and cared none for new customers. Avoid this place. We went TGIF, only a 3minute drive away.. Excellent service, friendly, and prompt. This place is fantastic! I was visiting GA for only 3 days and wanted something good and hearty after a day of traveling. I googled and saw this sports bar. It's attached to a mall that looks ehhh... but you don't want to judge a book by its cover on this one. Once you go inside, it's like you're in a different place! It's clean, spacious, comfortable seating, and the music . The hosts are so gorgeous, friendly and helpful. I ordered to go, and got everything they recommended, crab fingers (YUMMM), seafood mac n cheese, and salmon bites. When I say finger licking good... um um um. The food took the perfect amount of time to cook I suppose, I was having such a good time, I didn't want to leave! The vibes were vibing and everything about this place was fantastic! I'm upset I haven't been here before now! I came for a work event and discovered a gem for my life going forward. The vibe is perfect with the decor and seating of the establishment. We had a great server and though we had a preset menu the wings, fries, and Philly cheese egg rolls were good! I ordered a peach margarita and a home run off the drink menu and I highly recommend that's all you need for the night with a round of their hookah.
