While we were seated right away, our table was below a very cold draft. I asked the hostess if the air conditioner was on. She said she would check. Nothing changed. I put the hood up on my jacket. Felt like we were eating outside. I ordered the blackened salmon with no potatoes and green beans instead of broccoli. I told the waitress I had ordered the green beans. She said, oh yeah. But never ordered to take the plate back and change it. I told her forget it. We were frankly very hungry. It was late. The broccoli was so salty. It was inedible. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and got spicy chicken and shrimp. The orders were all messed up. The waitress was lovely, apologetic. She said the manager was going to come around to talk with us. Apparently the manager had already spoke to the couple two booths away from ours who actually received our order, and we received theirs. The manager never came over to talk to us. Very disappointing. The waitress then proceeded to come over and tell us that the price was the same because the mushrooms and onions were a "side". Um, sorry, no. When I told her there was a $5 difference and to check the menu she went back to the manager. I went over and got a menu to check the pricing. What we ordered was $12.99. What we got was $17.99. Not our fault. Twice I reminded the waitress that we were ready to leave. Finally she came back and said, oh well just reduce the bill by $5. Really!?!? That's all we asked for in the first place. Waitress came back in about 15 minutes for us to order appetizers (no drinks came though). We ordered two soups, french onion and some kind of chicken chili. About 1/2 hour later our soups came, but only after she had dumped most of my wife's soup on another patron's order. She just scooped what she could back into the bowl and served it......still no drinks. My french onion was actually pretty good. My wife's was awful, no liquid left. She couldn't eat it. I don't know if it's the culture of this town or what. I got there around 1205 AM online it says the restaurant closes at 1 AM. The bartender tried to tell me the bar was open only so I asked are you serving food she went to the back and said the kitchen closes at 1230 when I looked at my phone is was 1215. I knew what she was trying to do she didn't want to serve any food because she was ready to go. She then asks for my order and if it was to go. I decided to make it to go so she could leave. I understand things are crazy right now with COVID-19, but saying THAT- there was no excuse for the food I had last night. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. I asked the server before I ordered about the dish. He told me it was a popular dish. Figured I would try it. Before he even sat it on the table- you could see the chicken was as dry and the Sahara!! I did attempt it but almost choked! (And was still waiting on my water!!) The server informed me they were out of the butter that was supposed to be served and that was probably why it was dry. I just want to take a second and express my unhappiness and lack of thrill about my last 2 experiences here. One simple word can sum it up, horrible. Your servers and cooks seem inadequate to prepare something correctly. You're beer system is old, outdated and flat. Both times the same manager was there, not sure if that's relevant. Last night he actually offered to take something off my bill, yep a whopping 10%. From the original beer taking 20 min to pour to not knowing the difference in regular fries and sweet potato fries, to not knowing how to prepare a burger, to bring served crumbs as chips, I'm done. So my coworkers and I are in Tifton, Ga for a work trip. We decided to go to Applebee's for a late dinner. Our serve Brittany was great!!! So attentive and very friendly even with all the commotion of karaoke going on. We ordered an app, dinner and Bahama mamas. Then decided we wanted old fashioneds. We got the old fashioneds and they were HORRIBLE!!! Worst shit I ever tasted. Idk what the bar tender call her self making but she definitely did not measure the ingredients in the drink out. I think there was too much bitters add it to it. I told Brittany we were not satisfied with drinks and asked for a different drink. Shortly after the manager, Ken came to ask what the issue was with our drinks. I told him that it did not taste how an old fashioned should taste and that there was too much bitters in the drink. He rudely told me that the drink has bitters in it. I told him that we didn't want the drinks and he said he'd have our server ask what else we wanted. Shortly after, Brittany came to ask what we'd like to change our drinks to. We told her. I saw Ken pull her aside and blast her out like it was her fault the drinks were bad.
