Food: ordered Fiesta Lime Chicken and a boneless wings appetizer. The Sweet Asian Chili wings are my favorite appetizer @ Apple Bees . The Fiesta Lime Chicken is my go to dish here as well. The wings were spot on as they usually are. The Fiesta Lime Chicken was tasty as it should be. Got a brownie bite to top it off, yum. Extremely rude staff, felt very rushed the whole time which is understandable for a fast food restaurant but still not a friendly atmosphere. I could tell she was having a difficult day but her professionalism and poise never wavered. She treated me like a guest in her home for my entire visit. This Applebee's is by far the worst restaurant I've ever had to deal with. The whole staff is extremely rude. They advertise they have certain entrees which they don't really have and hang up on you when your trying to place your order. On May 16, 2021, I and my wife decided to go to Appleby's, on KMD, in Waterville, Me. We arrived about 2:00Pm in time for the lunch menu. I must admit that it was at the time. We were seated, ordered drinks, and our food as we knew what we wanted. I had a side salad that was very good, and a 6oz. steak with mashed potato. When I received my order, the steak was very burnt and dry, and also 1 1/2' wide. Now I've had a lot of steaks in my day, but never anything that looked like this. I did cut into it and popped a piece in my mouth, and it was almost gristle. Needles to say, I asked my waitress for another, and she graciously took it back. Half hour later, she brought back the preplacement. It was cooked well and looked normal. But this one was tough as nails. Rather than create a problem, I paid my bill and left. Now I can tell you that I won't be back, however, I know I will because it's close by and I have never had a problem there. But a heads up to the manager there, I would check out my cooks as it appears shouldn't have been cooking that day. read more

Tried the curbside to go again...... What the h. e. double hockey sticks is wrong with this? Every time we eat in, the food is fine. Every time we get curbside to go, it's sh#t. I had a very unsettling customer service experience at the Waterville location when I ordered lunch through the Applebee's App and was delivered by DoorDash. I spoke to a lady who randomly sent me to a man to talk to when I called Applebee's to get a refund for the bacon that I never received. I didn't complain. I just wanted a refund for the item that I never received. No big deal. The man gave me more attitude than my 7 year old niece. I was a big inconvenience to him at this point. He then said to me "WOW...so you want a refund for $2? Um okkk. Ok I guess I am putting in a credit for you for $2!" I know that may seem small to a lot of people and stupid, but I find that completely rude and the worst customer service experience I've ever had with Applebee's. I am from out of state and its almost worth a visit just to see the wonderful staff here, from the hostess to the manager I was taken back by how incredibly friendly they all were. In september, i went to Waterville Applebee's restaurant with a group of ppl. I wrote a review and for some reason it was removed. I thought Yelp was a website where you can tell your experience and rate the company so that ppl can be wary of businesses with bad reputation. Anyway, I will never go there again. I left without being waited after waiting for 20 minutes at the table that we were placed/given. If I could revoke stars, I would. The customer service was atrocious. I came in with some of my friends for drinks and we all showed our id's. My friend's were approved but mine wasn't--even though mine was issued by immigration services, which is legally authorized by the US government. Plus, I have been using the Id everywhere...even this specific location every time I have been here. The server was extensively confused and called the manager who was extremely impolite and made racially insensitive remarks, such as implying the ID was fake. Then, I requested a different authority. He couldn't do anything and repeatedly mentioned he couldn't do anything. It is very disappointing for such a popular franchise to treat their customers in this way. Very unapologetic and disgraceful. Not only I would recommend not to go but I wouldn't personally ever go to Applebee's again because of this specific location. read more

This used to be one of my favorite places to out to eat. They have changed their menu now and I don't like any of it. Most of it is pasta and they don't have many affordable options any more. You order and cash out with a portable machine and the food is fair at best. I used to go at least 3 times a once but I don't go maybe once every 6 months now. Went for the infamous half price apps after nine pm and for some dollar margaritas as they are usually pretty good. Our waitress was the bar tender who didn't really acknowledge us sitting at the bar. Our margaritas were good but i noticed they fill the cup up with ice to the top and use a glass that barley holds more than a double shot size of liquid. I like Applebee's, We go there often but I can't give them anymore than I three star. read more
