I find their food over seasoned for the most part. The service was dreadful our last visit. (And I mean LAST). I heard the server's life story. This was terrible - go somewhere else! My husband and I went here today for our anniversary lunch. My husband order a chicken and potato skillet. The chicken was over cooked and dry and the potatoes we under cooked. I order the walnut glazed salmon with a side salad and garlic mashed potatoes. My salmon came out with no glaze and drenched in salt - it was so terrible I couldn't get past two bites. My garlic potatoes were semi mashed and had no garlic. Not to mention my side salad I ordered with no tomatoes, came with chopped tomatoes in it. Needless to say, we paid $40 for over cooked chicken and a side of potatoes. The waitress asked if she could get me a to go box and when I told her why I didn't eat it she said she was sorry and just took my plate away. She didn't even off to comp my meal. We will NOT be coming back. Such a disappointment. read more

Upon arriving we had 3 different waitresses and one person did not get their food until about 15 minutes after the rest finished their meals due to new chefs. One friend found a noodle in their chicken wings. Another found fingerprints all over his plate. About half an hour later all 9 of us had to stop at a nearby walmart to rush to the bathroom to relieve ourselves of massive stomach pain. read more

Service was decent. Food was cold & unappetizing. Noodles were very undercooked. The house salad was sloppily thrown on a plate and was missing several toppings. Our bill was also screwed up. Applebees used to be one of my favorite places to eat. But the service and quality of the food has gone downhill. The chicken was dry and our fries were cold and we had to grab anyone walking by just to get drinks or barbecue sauce. Then to top it off our waitress couldn't even get anyone to help her sing happy birthday. What a shame. We will be celebrating elsewhere for now on that's for sure. read more

I brung my twin daughters to apple bees for their birthday and they were amazing. our apps were delish and hot we didnt wait for anything. the ice waters were delish and refreshing. the girls birthday dessert was the bomb and they loved it when they sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to them. thank you apple bees! i would highly recomend this apple bees to every one. very friendly and clean and fast. read more

Went there for dinner last night. Our order came out wrong, and COLD! When they fixed the order it was still COLD! Waitress was very unattentive, she didn't really seem like she even cared, she even tried over charging us and when I told her she did over charge us she looked at us like a deer in headlights! That's not a good way to make extra money!! Then we had to ask a different waitress for a bag for our boxes! Also, the music was up so high we had to yell at each other to have conversation! What the heck? I ordered the Thai shrimp salad this past Friday night. The shrimp and fried noodles came on a sparse handful of lettuce. When I complained I was told that because it's a weight watchers entree it's automatically a half portion. I didn't see that disclosed on the menu. Furthermore, lettuce wouldn't add to WW points anyway! Finally I was brought some more lettuce. I don't remember seeing any almonds. I suspect this Applebee's is deliberately stingy to save money. My wife and I always get good service here, and did tonight also....thank you Jamie. The issue for the lower review is they took fajitas off the menu. Really, this is one of the only menu items my wife gets because she enjoys them ao much. Bad decision guys. This has been a menu staple for as long as I can remember. I was very disappointed during our stop on Sunday 4-2-17 at around 2:30 pm. The Place did not seem that busy when we arrived. I had a party of 4 total. We were sitting in the bar area, with just a couple of folks sitting at the bar when we arrived. Our bartender started us off by stating how busy she was and that we would need to be patient with her while we waited. Fine I can wait I thought to myself no big deal. We finally got our drink order taken, again we waited. Finally got the drinks, she left again coming back a while later. We placed our late lunch order. People had since arrived in the bar area. We had another drink while we waited, and waited. Other tables which arrived much after us had their munchies arriving no problem. Our bartender looked up at us and said they didn't bring out your order yet? I could tell she was scrambling at that time to enter the order that she had forgotten to put in the computer. I stood up and walked over to her asking her to tell me the truth did she forget our order? She looked up and said yes. I told her to just cash us out and to forget about it.. She did do this and gave a free drink off of my bill. Nothing to the other couple that was with us.. SO we left and went to the lumber jack just across the parking lot from them and had a wonderful meal. I will not EVER BE BACK to Apple Bee's in WEST BRANCH MI. read more

My sister and I came in for dinner around 7:00, so it wasn't super busy at that time. However for some reason it took 15 minutes for somebody to take our drink order and then our waitress, Mariah, didn't seem to understand that we were ordering food. She said to us "Oh, you wanted to order?" As we both had menus in front of us. I ordered a salad to start my meal, and had to ask three different employees for a set of silverware. I didn't get it until I got my dinner. The food was delicious though, my steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly (Which is why this isn't a one star review). However we never saw our waitress after our food was delivered. We both wanted desert and so we ordered on the tablet thinking somebody else would bring it out if our waitress had actually vanished. Nobody did and we waited another 15 minutes for those to be brought. Our waitress brought them out and said to us "sorry, I was waiting on the ice cream". This was the only time she apologized for the wait and it was also a lie. The whole desert was melted, so we could tell it had been sitting out for a while. Overall bad experience and we won't be back. I do not recommend dining here AT ALL. read more

I've never really had a problem with this Applebee's before this experience but this experience was the WORST I've ever encountered. The staff was rude from the get go, our waitress was not on her a game, half our table waited over an hour to get food( split our group up even after calling in advance to give them a heads up we had a large group coming n we were told they'd put tables together...yeah, no they wouldn't ), my father walked out because of the poor service and our wait time. When the manager was approached he told my brother he n his staff had done nothing wrong and that he was done entertaining my brother...not exactly manager material. My son sat there on his b day n watched a few other people get sang to n what did he get??? NOTHING! We were putting our coats on n the waitress finally said "did u want us to sing to him now?" Thank you Applebee's for ruining my sons birthday, u were his favorite place to eat but we will never be back n I will make sure I tell everyone I know about our experience. read more
