***Long review***This is not my first time coming to this facility but this is my first time leaving a review. Today I brought my daughter in to get a TB placement because she needed it before going to college. The young lady was nice and help at the counter like always. Usually when we go they are pretty pleasant but, unfortunately the MA that assisted my daughter was so condescending and rude. Her name was something like Sakeah. So this my daughter's first time getting this done and she wasn't aware that it was a regular shot. So I explained it to her prior to because I work in the medical field and I've placed these before. So as we go back Sakeah or whatever her name is called her back and didn't have her sit she had her standing. She proceeded to grab her arm, cleans it and grabs the needle. No instructions, no details on what she is doing or going to do. So I told her can you please explain to her what you are doing. She looked at me irritated and looked at her and asked, " You don't know what you getting?" Now this pissed me off. She isn't stupid. It's her job to make the patient aware of what is going on. So I explained that to her and she looked even more annoyed. So then she says, "oil, perfumes, lotions, fragrances" so my daughter asked, " Do I have that on now?" She says with an attitude, "What!? I'm explaining it to you because your MOM wanted me to EXXPLLAAIINN it to you." Now it took everything in me to not go off on this piece of work. I work in the medical field so I understand you can have bad days but you have no right to get rude with someone who didn't give you a hard time. If you don't like your job then Quit. No one asked you to do this job. Told the front desk and she said that she always gets complaints. Why do they have someone like that dealing with sick people or people in general? God saved her today I have to take my daughter back to have it read, she better hope God save her then. I let her slide once you won't get a second time to be rude to me or my child. read more

I've been here twice and both times were very pleasant. First visit with my gf. Who was very sick after already being seen at another location. I wasn't expecting any acknowledgment that we were a couple. I was way more concerned about her health, she had a fever for 3 days, couldn't swallow anything and she was so miserable. The nurse was so sweet and attentive and felt the vibes. She even said a cute comment about wanting to find love like ours. It made me smile after being so stressed all weekend. The doctor was just as sweet and very patient. I just returned a couple months later (yesterday) and it turns out I have bronchitis. I was seen within 10 min of my appt. It was a different front desk lady, the nurse and doctor and they were just as sweet and attentive. I was in and out within 45 min. I will definitely return to this location. read more

We came to this location early in the morning on a Sunday 10 minutes after they open (they open at 10 on Sundays) the girl at the front desk is very friendly and has a nice smile :) We filled out our forms and were back in the patient room in under 30 minutes. Our nurse Amy had all the qualities you would hope that all nurses have. She was so nice, caring, friendly and thorough with the questioning and testing process (patient I brought in had to get tested for flu) Test results came back (negative!) and Dr. Matthews was so awesome! Very caring, friendly and actually made us laugh a few times. I highly recommend this location ! read more

Avoid this place for any COVID testing, or really any medical treatment ... lies and appointments mean nothing. I needed a quick result COVID, my second at this location. I had travel plans that required testing results upon arrival. I have had at least ten tests at various providers. Both experiences at this facility were less than pleasant. The first test in September, the swab was put so far up my nose, it not only hurt, but caused uncontrolled sneezing. The second test, April 2021, resulted in nose bleeding. So beyond the ridiculously aggressive procedure, came an unexpected bill. When making the appointment, I was told the charge would be $116, however my bill total was $216. My insurance bill revealed the extra $100 was for the clinic visit. Speaking of the appointment visit, that was 45 minutes late. This clinic is deceptive and inept at procedures. set up appointment for covid testing at applecare just got turned away from applecare in pooler, ga when they claimed my insurance was not accepted. I checked with my insurance co and applecare was an approved urgent care. They wanted to charge 50 to do a covid test. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act mandates that COVID-19 tests and care related to the diagnosis of COVID-19 must be free for anyone, insured or not. That means that if you visit the doctor to get tested for COVID-19, the cost of both the visit and the test are covered apparently applecare doesnt care about laws that have been passed during this pandemic to ensure that everyone can get tested. it was easy to setup an appointment but actually getting tested did not turn out so easy. not recommended read more

Bad review just bc I chose this place for their on line appointment. It means nothing!!! Our 5 pm appointment got us seen (after all the walk ins) after 6 pm. Also, a man walked in asking for a covid test. He didn't have on a mask and no one working here said a thing. Even tho sign on door says masks are mandatory. Oh!! And the address is wrong. read more

I went here this morning for the first time. My son has a bad cough and I wanted to get it checked out. The check in was simple and the facility is nice. The PA who waited on me was extremely knowledgeable which I loved. He was very gentle with my son. Ultimately nothing was up to we left. But he complimented me an told me I was doing a good job. The amount of time you're gonna wait in a small room for the Doctor is ridiculous! I've been here before where it was faster, but the front desk was rude. Now they've changed he front desk person, she's nicer, but the doctor is slow. I waited an hour in the waiting room to get called, then 45-60 min in the room for the doctor after my vitals were checked. There's NO EXCUSE to have a sick patient waiting this long to be seen. Beyond excusable and I will go somewhere else from now on. read more

Just called up there to ask about getting tested for the flu and how much that would be. Simple question right? Shay or Shae, or however its spelled, politely said one second and I'll find that out for you, and THOUGHT she put me on hold and DIDNT!. She proceeded to yell about my simple questions to her coworkers, about how you cant just come in and do that, "its a waste of her time" and then someone told her he never put me on hold. She came back to put me on hold(without even saying anything tome)Left me on hold for 5 mins, then hung up on me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. How are you supposed to have any respect with an attitude like that, with a possible sick patient who was going to come in a PAY THE MONEY TO BE SEEN! You just lost business because of Shay. I was in and out in no time! The staff was nice! I went in for an earache and was prescribed my medication and sent on my way.

The entire office staff are very knowledgeable and efficient. The receptionist, MOA, PA student, and PA provided excellent care.

My visit was urgent due to me finding out I was exposed to COVID so I originally called the facility in Savannah who were booked so they scheduled me for the Pooler, Ga. office. My appt was 2:30 abs I arrived to the facility an hour early and checked in more than 30 minutes before my time. I understand there's no getting in and getting out and being seen at the exact appt time but no one informed me there was a almost 3 hour wait to be seen. As other customers both walk-in and appt came in I overheard the wait time and asking if coming in the next day or so. I was informed on the phone call Rapid test were done but once I got there I overheard yet again they only had the Rapid Antigen test not the Rapid PCR. This was 2 minutes before being called abs almost 3 hours of waiting. The food that I ordered 1 hour in to be picked up 45 minutes later was cold one I got it because it was over an hour before I was able to pick it up. Once in the room I was told my vitals were going to be checked but she walked out the room only to return 5 minutes later to do just that. The facility were nice but the wait was awful and the communication unless you walked to the desk to ask questions!!!! The wait time portal was incorrect and not accurate on the wait times and place in line to be called to the back. Towards the end I was told they started off short handed and wasn't able to catch up from that but that wasn't communicated to me until I was in the room, again almost 3 hours later. I have patience but this was way way way to long for a test!! read more

Not quite sure what kind of business they are running there, but I had one of the worst experiences ever with this place. I was given an exam for acute shoulder pain, and received a prescription as a choice to not effect me much. I hate pills..... So, I pick these up and take as prescribed 1 per 6 hours. Took the first at lunch - full stomach, but got nauseous. Knowing that ahead of time for the second one, I eat and take the pill. 20 minutes later, I am feverish and vomiting. After that great experience, I call to inform them the meds make me sick, can we swap? "No. Nothing we can do here - as we are limited." Yes, VERY LIMITED. I will have my insurance appeal this visit once claim hits them. And, I am now on my way to the ER - since that is my last option. Thanks for nothing. This will not be my last review. read more
