Ben did a very thorough pre-sale inspection of my home in Edmonds, unfortunately, he did this without my knowledge or approval. My realtor only approved a highly limited & non-invasive thermal inspection but Ben even went as far as to rearrange the clothes in my closet so he could access the attic. The buyer's agent wouldn't even disclose who did the inspection but Ring cameras are great. When Ben was confronted about the situation & my attempt to resolve rather than file a formal complaint he just said "Do it". File the complaint, he didn't care. His final response was "You've sold the house" Blocking your number. Professionalism at its finest! read more

I can't praise Ben enough for his efforts with my home inspection. A first time homebuyer, I was nervously considering a Ballard area cottage that was nearly 100 years old. We found major repairs were needed in the crawlspace and foundation. He answered all my questions and gave me the info I needed to confidently negotiate the repair with the seller. He came back once during and then again after my house was lifted off the foundation and repaired. It is now better than I expected and I am so grateful for all his help. Ben is solid. He delivered a 30 page report complete with photos after conducting one of the most thorough inspections I have been a party to. We are in a purchase contract for a home that is very large (7500 total sq ft), and very old (1910). We needed to understand what systems had been updated and which had not. He ferreted out the good, the bad, and the downright broken- but he's also the guy who calls out the good stuff. I can see he has a true appreciation for craftsmanship, older homes and for quality work. I've had MANY home inspections over the years for transactions.
